"Father Frost". DIY New Year's calendar. DIY Advent calendar: templates and tasks to print out Advent calendar made from matchboxes

The New Year's advent calendar helps adults explain to the child how soon the holiday will come. And also such a holiday anticipation calendar can bring more joy and fun into the house, because you can not just cut off the calendar, but also receive interesting tasks, completing which the child will be filled with a feeling of the holiday.

I made some very simple advent calendars with Santa Claus, a Christmas tree and a house. These calendars are for 5, 7, 10 and 14 days, as it is difficult for young children to maintain interest and follow the timeline over a long period. The younger the child, the fewer days there should be in the advent calendar. If the child is 2 years old, then 5 days is enough, at 3-4 years old you can already make a calendar for 7-10 days, and at 5-6 years old - for 14 days.

It is better to print a cut-out advent calendar with Santa Claus on 2 A4 sheets, and then cut it out and glue it at the back with tape. We made such a calendar with Danya last year, but we drew it ourselves by hand.

These advent calendars can be printed simply on A4 sheet.

In calendars with Santa Claus, every day you will need to glue a piece of cotton wool to Santa Claus's beard.

And the Advent calendar House for the youngest children from 2 years old. You need to cut out windows in the calendar, leaving only one side uncut so that the window can open. And glue leaves with tasks on the back side of the windows. Tasks for kids can be, for example, the following: make a Christmas tree toy, draw a card, bake gingerbread cookies with mom, make a treat for birds, learn a rhyme, decorate a tree in the yard with frozen pieces of ice, etc.

Herringbone advent calendars are also made in several versions - black and white and color, for 7, 10 and 14 days.

The calendar is designed for the 31st day of December, and when everything is “completed”, the holiday, the New Year, will begin! Decorate the Christmas tree with New Year's balls and a star!

Woohoo, New Year is coming! Everyone's favorite holiday. Even adults, like children, expect some miracles in the New Year, decorate their apartments and create such a winter, but warm coziness. And today I’ll talk about one New Year’s thing, or rather about a book (well, of course it can’t be called that) - "Santa Claus waiting for the New Year" . This is a poster book.

How long are the days until the New Year!.. Let's spend them fun and usefully. Open the poster book, complete fun tasks and count down the days until the New Year. Santa Claus's beard will help you in this difficult task. "How?" - you ask. It's simple: every day, glue a little cotton wool to his beard and see how fluffy and full Santa Claus's beard becomes. You will be surprised how quickly time flies and the long-awaited New Year comes!

Place of purchase: Online store Labyrinth.

Price: 48 rubles.

Year of issue: 2016

At first, when my friend ordered this poster book for me at the same time, saying that it was something like an advent calendar, I thought it was a great price for 31 tasks and a large poster, and I gladly agreed. But she didn’t elaborate. Everything was somehow chaotic. When I received this book, I was a little upset. It turns out that there are only 3 tasks (but they are good and interesting, at least for my child). And one, but chic and large, a poster (or rather a portrait) of Santa Claus with a large beard, painted by day. It is very bright and colorful, just festive! But it’s boring to just glue on your beard every day. No, of course it’s all very good, but it’s still not enough, and it’s true, it’s a little boring. No, it won't work that way))

AND! After thinking a little, I realized that I could complete a full-fledged Advent myself. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time, but somehow last year I didn’t have much time to do it. And I got down to business. Connected the Internet, imagination and everyone around)))

First, let's figure out what an advent calendar is!?

What is Advent?

Catholics call Advent the period of anticipation for the holiday, which covers the last four weeks before Christmas (December 25). These days, believers prepare for a big holiday, perform various rituals, and observe fasting.

What is an advent calendar?

It is created according to the number of days remaining until the holiday date. In Western countries, this calendar is dedicated to Christmas. In our country, more attention is paid to the New Year, so parents prepare advent calendars specifically for this holiday. They are intended for children to help them realize how much time is left before the holidays and fill the anticipation with fun surprises. Every day, kids receive small, but such nice gifts, and at the same time learn to count, develop motor skills, imagination, and creativity.

Many thanks to those people who came up with all this, and even more thanks to those who thought of it and came up with Advent for children, thanks to which you can show your child how many days until the New Year in an exciting, fun, educational and educational way. After all, many children, looking at a beautifully decorated city, often ask: “ Maaaam, when will the New Year come?!"

The Germans were the first to keep waiting calendars at the beginning of the 19th century. They drew the number of days until Christmas with chalk on the door or wall, erasing or crossing out one date each day. On the eve of the holiday, some families lit candles and decorated their homes with pictures on biblical themes. But the first advent calendar for children was made by the mother of little Gerhard Lang, who simply tormented her with questions about when Christmas would come. The woman made a cardboard calendar with windows for him. The son could open only one a day and take away the small cookies hidden behind the doors. Over time, the boy grew up, got a job in a printing house, and in 1908 he printed a calendar with 24 pictures behind which sweets could be hidden. He launched production and constantly improved his invention. In total, about 30 calendar options were created.

In general, I thought, came up with ideas, looked on the Internet, and I came up with this advent calendar by day. Every day there is a new task and I specially made a sign so that my daughter could clearly see what date it is today.

Some tasks are very easy, some are more difficult, some are creative. In general, a lot of things. But I wrote these assignments for myself, for our days, when I can devote more or less time to this. If someone else does it, you can redo some tasks for something else, to suit your taste and desires. For example, go to the theater, have a family New Year's photo session (can you imagine what cool, positive and evocative photos you'll get), take a walk around the New Year's city, make angels in the snow, experiment with ice and soda, bake New Year's cookies (ginger houses or something similar), make a masquerade mask, look for a gift in an apartment using a map and many many others. There are a lot of tasks and it makes me happy. You can use your wild imagination to create a chic advent calendar.)))

Here are some of my tasks for the calendar, which I found on various resources and at home:

__________

Here is the assignment for December 3rd. Envelope for a letter to Santa Claus. We will write and draw what our daughter wants for the New Year, put our creativity in an envelope and I will tell my daughter that I will take this letter to the post office and there it will be sent to Santa Claus. I'm sure my child will be absolutely delighted with this. After all, she believes (for now) in a magical grandfather and I intend to extend her faith in miracles for as long as possible.

___________

And here is a questionnaire with questions (interview) for December 14 . At first I thought that this was still not a very good idea, and almost all of the questions were not New Year’s, BUT, then I imagined how cool it would be to read such an interview in a year and then in a few years. And in general, I realized that we need to make it a tradition to take such an interview with a child every year and look at the changes. I remember that I had such a thought for every birthday, but somehow it didn’t work out and was forgotten. Well, great, now it will be a tradition for the New Year))

___________

By the way, when I came up with the advent calendar, I included these three tasks from the poster book itself. When I printed everything out, it only then dawned on me that I would hang Santa Claus on the wall and that the tasks would not be completed, because... they are behind. And in general, I scanned them and everything turned out great, I didn’t lose 3 interesting days and didn’t have to come up with something new!

___________

This is how my entire advent calendar turned out. And it all started with just one thin poster book, which, despite its thinness, served me as a useful tool. I'm even glad that there wasn't a 31st task. Because I was so inspired, inspired and I enjoyed this process so much. The process of writing assignments, the process of finding them and everything else. I even got into the atmosphere myself!

You can also put stickers on the poster for some days (for example, one day a week) or draw stars at the bottom. This means that after completing this task, you not only need to stick on a piece of the beard, but you can also receive a small gift (for example, a kinder surprise or candy or stickers, if anyone likes, or a small doll/car... there are many options).

Today is December 1st. We have already completed our first task and glued on the first piece of the beard. The first day of winter has arrived, hurray! 31 days until the New Year! (At first I thought of gluing round cotton pads, but it would not have turned out to be a voluminous beard, but with cotton wool it’s much more beautiful!)

P.S.. I specifically wrote a review today, not in January (after we complete all the tasks and grow a beard for Santa Claus). After all, this calendar may be useful to someone and you will buy yourself such a good poster book. Good luck everyone, have a nice weekend and as soon as we grow a beard, I will definitely update the review and show you how it was (our completed tasks, crafts, etc.). Maybe it will be useful to someone next year!

Advent calendar "Santa Claus"

I was the first to think of publishing Advent-calendar by German entrepreneur Gerhard Lang. He himself remembered that, as a child, he constantly pestered his mother with questions about the coming of Christmas. And the main question was So: "When?" Frau Lang was a smart, busy woman and doted on her son. She came up with an original craft so that questions would disappear forever. The woman cut out 24 small windows on a cardboard box. She explained to Gerhard that he could open only one window once a day. Behind each door, a loving mother prepared a sweet gift for her son - cookies. The boy liked the game. He received the sweets and stopped pestering his mother with questions. Everything became clear without them: there are as many days until Christmas as there are unopened windows left. At the same time, the boy mastered counting.

The tradition has taken root not only in Germany or other Catholic countries. At first it “registered” in neighboring Austria and Switzerland, and later received recognition in all countries of the world. New Year's Eve has spread throughout the Orthodox world. advent calendar. In general, the word " Advent"translates as “coming, waiting.” Children can wait not only for New Year or Christmas. They are waiting for their birthday, the arrival of their beloved grandmother or the date of departure to the sea. Each expected event can be brightened up with a game by offering the child a calendar - Advent. It may include more than the accepted 24 days and extend for a month. Or it could become shorter and turn into a ten-day game or a week-long event.

So we decided to count the days until the beginning of the New Year. We decided to make him in the form of a grandfather Frost with a beard, on which the numbers from 1 to 31 are located. And every day we cover the number with a cotton pad. It is very interesting. At the end of the month, grandfather's beard Frost completely filled with cotton pads. This calendar will serve as a decoration for a group of New Year's holidays!

Good day!

Today I took on a rather unusual topic for analysis. Some people may not even know about something like this and what they eat it with, ahaha))). Honestly, I myself learned about such a craft a couple of years ago and was immediately interested in the idea. Now I’ll tell you in more detail, if literally translated, the advent calendar is some kind of little cheat sheet or reminder that something very, very important will happen soon. For example, the most important event (date) in your life, Birthday or New Year.

Usually these things are done for children, and they play with them and wait for the right moments. But, I’ve even seen options for husbands, can you imagine?

We all don’t really like to wait, it just happens that way, don’t you agree? It’s precisely this little thing like Advent that will help us have more fun and count the moments. I suggest not buying it in a store, as many do, but making it yourself, using various available tools.

Well, let's figure it out together, choose the stencils and templates you need and like, then run to print and surprise your little children. I hope everyone, without exception, will like the selection, learn with me.

It turns out that such a number was invented in Catholic families; children eagerly tore off the sheet of paper and, having completed the task, received a pleasant surprise, such as fruit or sweets. Therefore, I propose to celebrate the upcoming New Year and Christmas holidays with mysterious anticipation. Follow all the recommendations and you will definitely succeed.

After all, nothing is impossible, especially when children are already familiar with such calendars and ask for them again and again every year.

We will need:

  • wrapping paper or scrap paper 6 by 10 cm (there will be a hem for the envelope on one side and the other 2 cm and 3 cm)
  • scrapbooking paper, size 30 by 30 cm
  • scissors
  • rhinestones and decorations
  • stationery knife
  • glue or double-sided tape
  • thread or ribbon
  • felt-tip pen or pen

Stages:

1. First, you need to cut the required number of rectangles from wrapping paper, measuring 6 by 10 cm (determine the number yourself, prepare as many as you want to have envelopes).

3. Tie each envelope with thread or ribbon and glue it to scrap paper.

4. Decorate with rhinestones and sign the numbers on the envelopes, they will indicate dates.

Place tasks inside each paper bag, here is a sample, or come up with your own.

The next product is also incredibly beautiful and the author decided to create a calendar from ordinary bags. Which are also made by hand. Here are step-by-step instructions in pictures.

Such bags will also decorate your home and give a certain mysterious look to the walls (you will see this later). They will need to be made from scrap paper in the amount of 31 pieces.

Then glue chips onto each copy. They need to be cut, want some samples?

Then use it for your health.

All that remains is the final touch, hang everything on tinsel and decorate it in some other stylish way.

And if suddenly for some reason it was not clear to you how and what is glued where, then please refer to this video.

Master class on how to make an advent calendar for children from paper (templates inside)

Well, we’ve come to some more work, the simplest and not the most difficult. Even schoolchildren can handle them. Well, and you, as parents or teachers, even more so.

Well, let's start with the craft, it will be in the form of paper ribbons, which you must thread on a string.

I have presented the templates below, but if you want, I can send them by email in PDF format.

An equally interesting template in the form of a children's game with windows, carefully cut out the outlines along the dotted lines with a stationery knife, and attach a sheet with tasks.

Here’s another idea in the form of an adventure map; at the bottom you’ll have to make a chest or box for surprises.

Do you want it enlarged? Keep it up, some of you really asked, and dreams should come true))).

Here are ready-made samples.

Beautiful advent calendar for a child for the New Year 2020

The most long-awaited holiday that comes to us in winter and which all children look forward to. This is, of course, New Year or Christmas. So let's make the expectations even brighter.

To do this, you will need notes containing tasks. You can take absolutely any from this article, or take these.

Or these cards.

Some may find the empty ones boring so they can come up with the right games themselves.

So, fold the tasks into a tube and tie them with ribbon or thread. Place them in a jar and pull out one note every day.

After completing the task, glue cotton wool onto Santa Claus, or you can use cotton pads or crumpled napkins directly onto his beard in the form of a ball.

Here are a lot of templates in the New Year theme (Father Frost, Santa). Download any picture to your computer, paste it into Word and print. This one below is available in a large size; it will need to be printed on several A4 sheets.

Toddlers and slightly older children really like this activity, I assure you. After all, they are exploring the world!

If you have more than one child at home, then make two calendars at once so that there are no fights and insults.

Here are a couple more ideas, this is a wonderful Elf and a fawn.

The simplest thing is Adventik, when you need to paint over the desired date with a felt-tip pen. Catch the Christmas tree.

Or do you prefer a winter composition?

Friends, but that’s not all, I managed to find one cool option that will be of interest to children in preparatory or high school kindergarten or elementary school students. Here are the instructions.

If you still don’t understand who makes such a calendar, then now you’ll figure it out when you see this picture. It turns out that you need to print grandfather and a tear-off beard, request the text for the beard from me through the comments, I will send it to everyone for free by email.

  • The beard will be made of two parts that need to be glued together, I show one part here (as you can see, the text is difficult to see, so ask, everything looks clear in the document, for some reason it shows here).

For very young children, such countdowns will be difficult, so I suggest shortening the days and waiting a week before the upcoming day.

Or you can even make a Christmas tree on which you glue one paper ball every day.

As soon as the balloons run out, the New Year will begin.

Advent with tasks for schoolchildren

In a rather original way, you can imagine Advent in the form of houses. And it’s not at all difficult to complete them, especially if your child is in school and is 6-7 years old.

I have all the samples in the archive, unfortunately I can’t put them all in the article, they are in this form.

Or these little ones, I also have them in my archive, I found them in one group on VKontakte.

There is also a superb work in the form of cubes from which you can lay out a mosaic in the form of a Christmas tree.

And here are the tasks themselves, download and print them out. They are not difficult, and are suitable for absolutely all age categories (5-6 years), and even kids (3-4 years).

A pretty cool idea to create an advent calendar was published on the YouTube channel. Moreover, the creator shared his author’s work. I want you to watch this story too. Bravo!

Advent calendar made from matchboxes

You have no idea, but it's really cool! Such a thing is unlikely to stand on its own; as soon as children see it, they will immediately begin to question and play. In addition, the advantage of such a craft is that it will last you more than one year. That's for sure!

To begin with, I suggest you master the simplest option, click on the view button.

Now, as for more complicated work, you can design it in the form of a box or a funny house. Use your imagination, glue, scissors and scrap paper.

And now the master class, all the description will be immediately in the photo. So, what a job, friends!

By the way, you (if you are a teacher or teacher) can involve your parents in this matter so that they can later use such a miracle in kindergarten.

So how did you like it? I really like this, such a good idea, respect to the author. And here is another picture from the Internet.

Advent calendar ideas for kids

Well, we got to some more surprisingly unusual options, I would like to show you everything, but the note is not rubber). I collected everything that I haven’t talked to you about yet, so let’s go.

A wonderful and creative calendar would be an option using plastic cups. It will turn out quite voluminous. Look, you can take cups from under Rastishka.

Here is a set in the form of a locker.

Lovers of felt toys need to make this creation in the form of stars.

Use any available means.

If you like this method of decoration, write to me and I will send you templates for the pockets.

The pockets will be in this format:

They even used clothespins, and it looked like a snowflake.

Or hang bags with surprise moments on them.

In the West, it is customary to make such calendars from socks or knitted mittens.

And if it’s a child’s birthday, then make his expectations brighter, for example, create a flower like this from lollipops. And pull out one every day, when they end, the long-awaited day will come. Great idea, isn't it?

And here is another option from kinder surprises (that is, their plastic cases).

Would you like another idea, wow, it’s light and at the same time cool, made from balloons.

This is the post for today, from which you learned about how to make an advent calendar and what it is actually needed for. Take note, because there are many holidays throughout the year.

I wish you all good luck, inspiration and patience. Click on the social media buttons, share your finds and write reviews and comments at the bottom of the note. Thank you all for your attention, and see you again! Goodbye.
