Easter eggs made of beads with spring lilies of the valley.

Step-by-step master - class No. 1

There are a great many options for weaving Easter eggs from beads. For example, our version looks a little unusual, but undoubtedly beautiful. It turns out that an Easter egg made of beads with lilies of the valley is in a beautiful stand and framed with spring flowers.

Where to start

Weaving an Easter egg with beads begins with preparing lily of the valley flowers and collecting them into a single inflorescence. The next step is to weave the leaves and assemble the elements of the four flowers together.
Then we move on to making the base - the stand. After this, we braid the Easter eggs themselves from beads. Photos of all stages of production will certainly make your work easier. Follow them and you will succeed.

Step 1: weaving lily of the valley flowers

First we will make our lilies of the valley. To do this, take beads and a vice. We cover the edges of the instrument with adhesive tape in two layers so as not to damage the beads.

Now we cut off the top of the beads. At the exit we get a smooth flat surface on one side of the inlet. This action will allow us in the future to place the top of the flower on this plane and glue it to the bead without any difficulty

Then we take our gold metallized thread, fold it in two layers and string 6 pearl-colored beads.

Pass the thread through the holes in the beads. We perform this action several times to secure the beads more firmly and reliably. Then we send both ends of the thread into another bead towards each other. We also send thin wire there.

Next, we insert our stamens into the sawn bead, and drip a little glue onto the sawn top. Any remaining adhesive must be wiped off immediately with a soft cloth. Any napkin you have will do. If this is not done right away, the glue will remain on the surface of our stamen and will stick out unattractively from the beautiful flower. This is simply not acceptable)

We decorate the flower stem by wrapping the wire with tight turns of thread.

We will need a lot of such flower preparations. Remember that the inflorescence must consist of flowers of three sizes. The first ones are the smallest, made of small diameter beads. The second ones are medium-sized beads, and the third ones are the largest. The number of flowers depends on the inflorescence, i.e. how many elements will be on one lily of the valley stem.

Step 2: form branches with flowers

After this we form lily of the valley branches. The smallest bead will be the top flower, and the largest will be the bottom flower. So, our beaded Easter egg will look like a real plant.

Step 3: weaving leaves

We recall the techniques of hand weaving and in this way we form several bright green leaves for the lily of the valley. We make them in two sizes. The leaf that will be in the middle should be longer than the leaves on the sides. They should not differ in width.

Step 4: collect a flower sprig

Then we form a ready-made branch of lily of the valley flowers. We connect three flower branches and three leaves. So our beaded Easter egg decoration is ready. The master class moves on to the main step of making the product.

Step 5: weave an Easter egg from beads with laces

We braid the Easter egg with beads in a way convenient for you, and then make 4 embroidered stripes. They will help us divide the product into 4 parts in this way.

For a beautiful top we make a “crown”. When weaving, we place a bead of the largest diameter in the middle of the crown.
Then we sew the crown and stripes to the egg shirt. It is better to perform this action with monofilament or gold thread. The stitches should be small and placed exactly in the middle, where the sides of two adjacent beads touch.

Since preparing the egg itself is very heavy, we strengthen the woven stand. In our case, the ring left over from the tape helped us.

Step 5: weave the stand

The final stage in our making of the most magnificent egg is the formation and weaving of the stand. It should only be performed after the previous stages have been completely completed. After all, only in this case can you not make a mistake with the dimensions of our stand.
We weave the stand “Ndebele”, but its appearance is left to your imagination. You can give it the shape of a tube or vase. But under no circumstances should you do it completely straight down, because in this case, your beaded Easter egg will constantly fall and there’s nothing you can do to fix it later.

Another trick that is constantly used when weaving eggs from beads is additional strengthening of the stand. This could be a ring from adhesive tape, a plastic cutout from a bottle, or a ring glued together from thick cardboard. Any strong material that every needlewoman has at home will do.
After completing the work with the stand, we move on to sewing our bouquets into place. We form a beautiful frame and straighten all the flowers. And at the very end, we sew the egg to the stand so that it can be picked up and put on display for “brag-offs” without fear.
That's it, our magnificent creation is ready! All that remains is to straighten the beads with tweezers and enjoy the result of the work. These Easter eggs will be a wonderful gift for your loved ones.

Step-by-step master - class No. 2

Easter eggs with beads for beginners are a very complex and sometimes simply insurmountable product, due to the seemingly difficult execution pattern at first glance. But in our master class, we want to dispel this myth and show our readers that you can create unique gifts without hard-to-read diagrams and unnecessary steps.

What you need to get started

We will need a wooden egg blank. But blanks made of plastic or foam will do just fine. You can also use oval eggs from Kinder Surprise, or simply make the blanks yourself from clay, plasticine, or plasterboard. An ordinary egg is usually not used, because it is very fragile and it is problematic to braid it. And then you don’t really want to spoil such beauty.

Step 1: paint the workpiece

We begin work by painting the workpiece. We use durable paints, preferably acrylic based. Choose a bright, eye-catching color. If necessary, repeat the coloring for a more saturated shade.

Step 2: string beads

To correctly braid Easter eggs with beads, patterns for beginners need to choose the most basic ones. They should not be incomprehensible to craftswomen at any stage of weaving. It is best to choose patterns that you have already used before when making baubles or canvases.
In the manufacture of our product, we used a pattern that is widely used in weaving ordinary bracelets. It is simple and does not require special knowledge.
After the workpiece has completely dried, we begin stringing beads and braiding the egg.
We cut 60 cm of fishing line from the reel and string 8 yellow beads onto it. We close them in a circle, crossing the ends of the fishing line in the last 2 beads collected. This results in a ring and two separately located ends of the fishing line.

Now we string 2 beads on both ends, then two more, in which we cross our tails. We have formed a new ring. Make sure that the ends of the fishing line always come out with a difference of two beads; the equal links of our chain depend on this.

Step 3: weave a chain

We continue weaving according to this pattern. When the chain reaches the required length, we insert the last link into the first, thereby closing the circle. And in order not to make a mistake with the dimensions, we apply the canvas to our egg at the widest point. We weave the second chain in a similar way.

Step 4: weaving beads

We form the central part of our egg. We take two woven chains and previously prepared large beads. We weave all the elements together, placing the bead in the middle, between the two chains.

We continue weaving until the first bead. Then we insert the fishing line to its middle and into the bead next to it. We secure the fishing line on the wrong side with several knots. We fasten the ends, cut them off and lightly singe them while pressing them to the bead. Turn the product right side out.

Step 5: braid the workpiece

Now we fasten a 20-centimeter piece of fishing line through the link and string beads onto it in the following sequence - 8 yellow beads, a small white bead, and another 8 yellow beads. So, in a circle, not forgetting that you need to skip one link.

We connect all the strings with beads together. We tie a strong knot. We cut the fishing line and burn the excess ends.
To make the tops of our product more neat, we can complement the last step by weaving in medium-sized beads. And only then make the final knot. This way, all the unsightly tying of the ends of the fishing line will be hidden in the gap of the new bead, which will certainly improve the appearance of the product.
To prevent our Easter eggs from dangling in a beautiful beaded frame, adjust the weaving patterns to the size of your workpiece. It's no secret that different manufacturers produce products in different sizes, and thus the proposed braiding pattern may not suit you at all. Therefore, if necessary, shift the chain links by one, adjust the size of the “belt”. Or add an additional bead to the side elements of the frame. Then all the elements will merge together and you will get true beauty.

We decorate the second side of the egg in the same way. Only we got it a little larger, so instead of 8 beads, we will take 11.

That's it, the master class is over. A simple but attractive souvenir in the form of a handmade Easter egg decorated with beads is ready.

We hope you enjoyed the beaded Easter eggs! Based on our master classes, you can easily weave other types. You can see weaving patterns in our articles in this category or select the category about making bracelets.
Try new things, combine the unexpected and then everything will work out! Good luck with your work and happy holidays!

Easter is the main Christian holiday of spring. Recipes for Easter baking, Easter cakes, Easter basket decorations, and Easter eggs have long been passed down from generation to generation.

And if earlier eggs were colored in a decoction of onion peels and oak leaves, today there are many more options for decorating eggs. One of them is decoration with beads.

Using various beading techniques, which I will demonstrate in this master class, you can create an exclusive Easter decor.

I would like to show you several options for decorating Easter eggs with beads, from the simplest to the most complex.

First you need to do the preparatory work. You can take a raw egg for braiding, having rid it of its contents, or you can take a boiled one, but it is best to take a wooden blank (such an egg, your beaded masterpiece, will last a long time and will delight you and those around you).

Options for decorating Easter eggs with beads:

  1. Pasting.

This is the easiest way to decorate eggs and doesn't require much effort. Necessary:

- egg blank;

- epoxy adhesive;

- pencil;

- multi-colored beads and beads.

First, we draw a sketch of the future ornament on the blank. Then we apply glue to the parts that need to be filled and begin gluing the beads in accordance with the pattern.

Here are examples of folk motifs laid out with beads:

Eggs can be decorated not only with beads, but also with sequins. They can be used to decorate a pysanka in the shape of a goldfish like this:

A couple more ways to decorate an Easter egg with sequins.

This is the simplest one

And another option is more magnificent.

We need:

- a blank egg made of polystyrene foam or foam rubber;

- sequins in the shape of flowers;

- colored pins;

- glue moment.

We pierce the sequin with a pin - this will be our flower.

We begin to insert such blanks into the egg. To strengthen the tip of the pin, you can coat it with glue.

We pass over the entire surface of the egg, leaving no voids.

Ready

Now let's start making the stand. A pin mold will be useful for this. Glue green sequins along its edge.

This is how it should work out.

Glue our egg to the base - and our Easter miracle is ready!

Weaving an Easter egg with a beaded mesh

The technology of braiding an egg with a beaded mesh is that the egg itself has a streamlined shape, so the braiding is carried out in several stages. The egg itself is conventionally divided into 3 parts: a central belt (2) and two poles (1, 3). First the belt is braided, and then the poles.

Visual demonstration. Let's prepare:

- wooden blank;

- beads;

- nylon thread, needle.

We braid the belt with a mesh, according to this diagram:

Beginning of mesh weaving

turn

We tighten the thread and weave according to the diagram

We measure the mesh to the required length so that it completely encircles the width of the egg.

Place the mesh on the workpiece and connect its edges.

The holiday of Easter is filled with symbols of resurrection, and painted eggs are no exception. In many cultures, the egg symbolizes the origin of life. Its ideal shape has inspired many craftsmen and artists to create masterpieces. The apogee of Easter art is the famous Faberge eggs made of precious metals and stones. Elegantly made beaded Easter eggs are often as decorative as jewelry masterpieces.

Preparing for work

Naturally, you need to braid with beads not a real raw or boiled egg, but a special base that will not spoil. In the old days, a whole egg shell, released through 2 small holes at both ends, filled with wax, was used as a base.

Nowadays, wooden eggs are most often used as a base, as well as plastic or papier-mâché. It is better to select beads for an Easter egg according to the pattern. Pure bright colors are preferred, black is undesirable. Ornaments made from chopped beads and bugles look good.

You will need:

  • the basis;
  • beads (10-20 g, depending on the size of the base);
  • thin fishing line or nylon thread;
  • bead needle;
  • diagram of an Easter egg made of beads.

Honeycomb weave

Many craftswomen create patterns on their own; you can take the traditional pattern of simple cellular weaving as a basis. Usually, First, a braid is made for the central part of the egg - the “belt”. The belt is tightened on the egg, then the ends of the egg are braided one after the other, the number of beads in the row gradually decreases.

There is no universal scheme for braiding the ends, since the shape of the bases can differ quite greatly. When making Easter eggs from beads, it is important to feel how the beads fit on the rounded surface of the egg.

Openwork weaving

Simple honeycomb weaving can look luxurious and delicate if you combine regular beads and glass beads or larger faceted beads.

Using this pattern, you can braid an Easter egg with beads, starting from the ends. In this method, 2 halves of the braid are connected with a seam in the middle.

Tight weave

Smooth and dense beaded Easter eggs are woven using the mosaic weaving technique or hand weaving technique. In the first case, the beads are shifted relative to each other by half a length, and in the second they are arranged clearly in a checkerboard pattern. These methods are more labor-intensive, and more beads will be required, but the most incredible patterns and even landscapes can be laid out on a thick beaded fabric.

The finished egg can be decorated with pendants; the top can be crowned with a large bead, dome or cross. To make the composition uniform, the egg stand can also be braided with beads. But eggs in a wicker basket also look attractive.

Laying out on wax

To decorate a decorative Easter egg with beads, you don’t have to weave anything. Any of the most whimsical patterns can be laid out on a wax base. To make the drawing smoother, it can be outlined on wax in advance.

Bead weaving is a rather labor-intensive and time-consuming task. If you don't have much time left, try mastering .

With the Easter holidays approaching, everyone is thinking about a delicious menu for the holiday table, bright and homely decor, as well as unusual gifts on this topic. I present to you several master classes on how to make an Easter egg from beads with step-by-step photographs. These will be an excellent symbol and gift for the upcoming holiday.

"Spring Awakening"

To create an Easter egg from beads you will need:

  • wooden egg (or plastic);
  • beads of mother-of-pearl or milky color;
  • green beads;
  • pearl-colored rice beads;
  • white beads with a circumference of 0.3 cm;
  • white beads with a circumference of 0.6 cm;
  • Easter sticker – 2 pcs.;
  • fishing line and bead needle.

First we need to create a beaded belt for an Easter egg. Place 8 milk beads, 1 green bead and 3 milk beads on the fishing line. Secure the first bead.

Count three milky beads from the green one in the opposite direction and thread the fishing line through it. You should get some kind of beaded loop.

Then put on 3 milk beads and pull the line through the very first bead put on the line.

Then put on three milk beads and pull the line through the middle bead of the second loop.

Once again, alternately put on 1 milk bead, 1 green bead and 3 milk beads. Pass the needle through the middle bead of the outer loop.

Continue weaving the egg belt this way to the required length.

Connect the edges of the belt and put it on the workpiece (egg).

Now we will directly fly around the Easter egg itself:
1. First row: between each green bead of the belt, weave three beads of the same color.

2. Second row: Pull the needle through the middle bead of each green loop and weave in three green beads.

3. Third row: now stretching the needle through all three green beads of the previous row, weave one pearl bead-rice in turn.

4. Fourth row: put 2 green beads, 1 milk bead and 2 green beads on the fishing line, pull the needle through the middle bead of the green loop from the third row. Continue the row to the end.

5. Fifth row: weave one large white bead between the milky beads.

6. Sixth row: stretching the fishing line through the milky outer beads, weave 2 milk beads, 1 green bead and again 2 milk beads between each of them.

7. Now is the time to stick on the Easter picture or icon.

8. Seventh row: weave one small white bead between the green beads of the last row.

9. Eighth row: The last row consists of woven 5 pieces of green beads between each green beads of the sixth row.

This Easter gift will certainly become a table decoration, a symbolic gift and a pleasant memory of the holiday.

Option 2 - Easter egg “Golden motives”

Easter crafts for the bright holiday of Easter are already a long tradition. In this tutorial I suggest you create such a magnificent Easter egg. Thanks to step-by-step photographs, you can easily weave this egg from beads and beads.

For production you will need:

  • white beads;
  • gold colored beads;
  • white beads with a circumference of 3.5 mm;
  • white beaded rice;
  • fishing line and bead needle;
  • scissors;
  • Easter iron-on sticker;
  • wooden blank in the shape of an egg.

At the very beginning, we will weave a beaded belt for an Easter egg:
1. Place 8 white beads, 1 gold bead and 3 white beads on the fishing line. Pass the needle through the 5th dressed white bead. You should get some kind of loop of beads.

3. Then put on 1 white bead, 1 gold bead and 3 white beads. Pull the needle through the middle bead of the second loop formed.

4. Then put on 3 white beads and pull the needle through the middle bead of the first loop.

6. Continue weaving the belt according to this pattern.

Now let’s carefully look at how to make an egg from beads step by step:
1. First, put a heat-seal on the egg and put it in boiling water. Dry the workpiece with a towel.

3. Weave 3 gold beads between each gold bead.

4. Then fly 3 more gold beads between the middle gold beads. Weave these beads through one gold bead loop.

5. Then weave one white round bead between the middle gold beads of the first row.

6. Pull the needle through the middle beads of the second row, weave in: 2 gold beads, 1 white and 2 gold beads.

7. Weave one bead-rice between the white beads of the last row.

8. For the final row, it is necessary to weave 5-6 white beads between each white beads of the penultimate row.

On the eve of the bright holiday of Easter, I want to create an atmosphere and beauty in the house. Following tradition, we paint eggs and buy or make souvenirs for our loved ones. Just a beautiful decorative Easter egg made of beads, made by yourself, can become such a souvenir and decoration for the holiday. In this article we will look in detail at how to make Easter eggs from beads, weaving patterns for beginners and tips on choosing material and execution techniques.

The most important thing in beading is the beads themselves. Sometimes they give advice to beginners to choose simpler and cheaper beads. But it’s better not to do this. Buy several shades of good quality beads and weave with pleasure. You will understand in your work that no other material can compare with high-quality Japanese or Czech beads. It is smooth, with smooth edges, and the same size.

The finished product, even if made by the hands of a novice craftswoman, will look decent and will add neatness and dignity to your product. So, the best beads are Japanese. We will include Toho beads among them. But Czech also looks good, only if it is not a fake. You should think in advance about the pattern and color scheme of beads for your product and buy the colors that will be useful to you. It is important to know that the beads differ in numbers. The higher the number, the smaller the bead size. No. 10 is suitable for braiding eggs.

In addition, you will also need fishing line. This can be a special thin monofilament for weaving or regular sewing thread to match the main color of the beads. You will also need a needle. There are special needles for beading. They are flexible and thin.

Now we come to the next, very important point - the basis for the Easter egg. You can take any artificial egg made of plastic, foam, or wood. It is better to first cover a foam egg with plain toilet paper and paint it so that it is smooth and does not crumble. But if the foam is well compressed, then this need not be done.

Some craftswomen braid natural eggs. To do this, you need to pierce the shell at the top and bottom and pump out the contents. Dry the shell, cover it with toilet paper and PVA glue, dry it and start weaving. Each craftswoman chooses an acceptable and more convenient base for weaving.

Simple weaving patterns

Beaded holiday eggs always look festive, bright and interesting. They certainly attract attention. The pattern on them can be completely different. This includes a geometric pattern, which is obtained by combining beads of different colors and even sizes in a certain sequence, and floral motifs. In addition, it is quite possible to weave letters, the traditional “ХВ” for Great Easter. Even a beginner can master such interesting and at the same time simple Easter eggs made of beads, and weaving patterns for beginners are presented step by step in the article below.

Let's try to make an egg with letters and a geometric pattern. A detailed master class with descriptions and diagrams for braiding an Easter egg from beads was created especially for beginners.

For work we will prepare:

  1. Czech beads No. 10 several shades. Choose no more than 3-4 shades that combine well with each other and match your idea.
  2. Monofilament or sewing thread with a beading needle.
  3. The base is in the form of a wooden egg blank. You can choose plastic or plastic.
  4. Glue "Moment Crystal" or any other suitable for polymer surfaces.

When everything is ready, let's start the process:

  1. First we string several beads for the base, the lower part of the egg. We do this according to the diagram in the photo.
  2. First, we collect 7 beads in a circle.
  3. Then we expand the diameter, attach beads in a circle, alternate colors according to the diagram and our idea.
  4. The important point is the closure of the series. It is important to return the needle and thread to the bead with which the row began, so that it is completed and secured.
  5. When we have a small heel for the bottom of the testicle, we need to carefully glue it to the base.
  6. Let's wait a little for the glue to dry and the surfaces to set.
  7. Now we continue weaving along the egg. We expand the surface.
  8. We weave in rows, alternating the color of the beads.
  9. From the 17th row you can already see the formed flower.
  10. We continue weaving the pattern, carefully alternating the color of the beads.
  11. Now you need to mark on the workpiece the place where the letters will be located for convenience.
  12. When we have reached the intended letters, we begin to weave beads according to a pattern of a different color to represent these letters.
  13. The letter diagram is given below for convenience.
  14. Forming letters.
  15. Now the final stage, we braid the crown.
  16. Here comes the tapering cloth.
  17. We weave beads of different shades according to the pattern.
  18. We complete our weaving with one bead, as at the beginning of the process, placing it in the center.
  19. Pass the finishing circle of 6 beads several times to secure and secure the thread, hide the tip.

This is not the easiest weaving option, but it is very interesting and quite accessible for beginners.

The easiest way to braid eggs with beads

And now another option on how you can braid an egg with small beads simply and quickly. The result is no less beautiful and amazing than in the previous description.

The video that follows shows in detail the pattern of weaving an Easter egg from beads for beginners. This is a simple geometric weaving option that is accessible to everyone. Its principle is to string a certain number of beads on a thread in a certain order of colors and paste tightly in a spiral along the entire surface of the workpiece.

You will also need a blank, a thread with a needle and beads of the selected colors for this work. It is important to choose a good glue. It’s better to take Moment Crystal. It dries quite quickly and no traces are visible.

A stick will also come in handy to adjust the spirals of beads so that they lie flat.

During the weaving process, we string beads onto a thread, alternating shades of beads in a certain sequence. We fix the thread with beads with glue, coating a small area of the surface of the workpiece.

Easter egg made of beads and beads

Here is another amazing option for creating an Easter egg from beads and beads. It is suitable for beginners, the work here is quite simple. Be sure to make yourself such a souvenir for the Easter holiday. It will decorate your holiday table or room and will definitely attract the attention and admiration of your guests.

  1. To work you need to prepare:
  2. Egg preparation.
  3. Beads in white and blue shades.
  4. Monofilament and needle.
  5. Beads are blue or dark blue.

Follow the diagram shown in the video. After the base is ready, start weaving the belt for the middle. The diagram and sequence of actions is presented in the video below.

After the top, bottom and middle parts are ready, connect them together on the surface of the workpiece with a seam using monofilament and a needle.

Easter eggs made of beads, braided with a belt with pictures

Eggs braided with a belt of beads and beads with a picture in the form of an icon or a temple are very interesting. Let's figure out how to do this. It's actually very simple. For work, prepare:

  1. The basis is in the idea of the egg.
  2. Thermal film for decorating Easter eggs with the image of an icon.
  3. Beads of the required colors.
  4. Monofilament and needle.
  5. Belt pattern.

Sequencing:

  1. We put a thermal film with the image of the icon on the blank. We lower the workpiece into boiling water to shrink the film. It takes the shape of an egg.
  2. According to the pattern for the belt, we weave a belt for the egg from beads of the desired color.
  3. When the middle part of the belt is woven, we place it on the testicle and finish the rim according to the size of the testicle.
  4. Everything is ready, you can leave it like that. But you can decorate the top of the egg with a woven crown, glued rhinestones, and half beads.

Easter eggs can be placed on stands made of the same beads or artificial flowers. You can hang them on ribbons from the branches of a bouquet or attach bead legs to them. You can also put such beautiful eggs in a basket and make a whole composition for the holiday. Have fun creating!
