The jacket is made using freeform technique. Bambino yarn from Baby Nako (130 m by 50 g, 25% wool, 75% acrylic, color code 9013 - pearl). It took about 2 kg. Here is from this collection

In a skein

I crocheted 1.3 cm. But this is individual, everyone chooses the hook for themselves.

I recommend taking something thinner for a larger item. Cashmere, for example. The knitted work is sewn to the base so that it does not deform during wear. The base is taken ready-made (the old top from the infantry), lined. Faux fur (100% wool) was used for decoration, I have left from an old jacket ...

From the work process

At first, individual flowers and scrambles were knitted.

For large flowers, a round middle part was cut out of fur, tied with a crochet, around it there are block-columns, then tie, divide everything into 5 parts and knit on each petal with single crochet for the back (by front side) and behind the front (purl) loop, making additions and decreases in the form. Then I tie all the petals with a crustacean step.

Leaves cut from fur are also crocheted. All these details are knitted into the canvas along with the scrambles.

At first, my hood was knitted.

Then she proceeded to the rest. We knit on a pattern (it was made on a jacket, on which everything will be attached as on a base-lining).

When the main parts (back, shelves) have basically been assembled, pinned to the base (an old infantry, whose fur lining is unfastened), you can sweep and knit or insert related elements to the desired shape.

The sleeves were knitted directly on the base, gradually building up the fabric. To do this, I inserted something inside the sleeve for the form.

A faux fur base is inserted into the hood.

At the end, connect all the parts, sew (sweep) everything well to the base so that knitting does not deform during the process of wearing. Sew on fur cuffs, process the edges, tie buttons (see MK "Buttons").

Description of knitting a handbag using the freeform technique and scheme:

The bag is knitted using freeform technique. That is, your imagination is not limited here, and you can create a truly original and unique thing. You can use in work any colors of yarn and elements of different shapes that you like.

For the base of the handbag, take or ready-made old bag, or sew a cover. Make a pattern for the finished purse or case - you will distribute the elements on it. Knit the elements of the freeforms according to the schemes presented below. The number of elements, their size and location are arbitrary. You can use round elements from twisted columns (knitting patterns 44 and 44a), two-color spirals (see diagram 44 b), motifs in the form of "shells" (diagram 44 c). Fill the space between them with columns (with or without crochets), front satin stitch, garter stitch.

You can also sew on individual pieces on top of the knitted fabric.

The use of yarns of different thickness and texture, the combination of dense motifs with openwork will help create your unique author's style for a handbag.

While knitting, apply the fabric to the pattern and make sure that the surface of the bag remains flat. Optionally, you can embroider individual motifs with beads, sequins and beads.

After everything is connected, pull the knitted piece over a cover or a finished handbag and secure with inconspicuous stitches. Tie the handles of the bag with single crochets. Sew in a zipper if necessary.
