How to wash cotton in a washing machine and at what temperature. Washing modes and times in the Beko washing machine LG washing machine health care

The manufacturers of the Beko washing machine made sure that the user did not think for a long time about which program to choose. Therefore, the control panel was equipped not with icons, but with the names of modes and functions. You can only meet the designations of the washing modes on the CM Veko standard, as with other brands.

Now you don't have to guess what the symbols mean, every program is signed. However, this does not provide information about how long it lasts and what its characteristics are.

Descriptions and symbols of the Beko washing modes

After reading the operating instructions, you can find out in detail what a particular program means. But this is not always possible if not a new technique was bought or the instruction is lost. Therefore, in the table below, we will look at the main modes and functions of the Beko clipper.

Program table: basic

Name Meaning Estimated washing time *
Cotton Cotton linen is washed at a high temperature - from 60 to 90 degrees. Since cotton is not afraid of boiling, the mode can be used for heavily soiled items. Natural fabrics are durable and absorb a lot of water, so the spin is carried out at maximum speed. 120-150 minutes.
Eco Cotton The program will wash cotton with the lowest electricity consumption. 180 minutes.
Synthetics Select a mode for synthetics and blended fabrics. Thanks to the optimal water temperature, the laundry does not stretch or fade. 104-118 minutes.
Dark fabrics The program is intended for cotton and synthetic laundry. Dark and colored items may fade or discolor, which prevents the program. 102 minutes.
Washing shirts Gently washes shirts at a temperature of 40 degrees, avoiding severe wrinkling. 120 minutes.

Handwash Gentle care for delicate, delicate fabrics that can be washed by hand. Now you can take care of them in the washing machine. At the same time, they do not wear out or deform. 40-55 minutes.
Baby protect Guaranteed removal of powder and other detergents from baby's clothes by using large amounts of water. about 160 minutes.
Woolen things A special program allows you to wash woollens. Gentle drum rocking and a small amount of water prevent pilling. 60-70 minutes.
Fluff In this mode, you can wash both ordinary clothes and blankets and pillows. Allows you to get rid of allergens such as dust mites.
Quick wash Reduces the time of the Cotton and Synthetics programs. It is used for lightly soiled laundry, while it is allowed to load only half of the total volume. 90-115 minutes (depending on the type of fabric).
Sportswear You can wash things with tough stains. Suitable for synthetic and cotton fabrics. 100-140 minutes (depends on fabric).
Saving Washing at low temperatures - 20 degrees - for lightly soiled items. It is recommended to use liquid detergents, as ordinary powder may not dissolve in time. less than 100 minutes.

* The table shows approximate figures, they depend on the model of the machine. Take a look at the instructions - the description of the programs should indicate their duration. If not, then focus on the ranges that are given above.

Additional Beko Modes

Useful functions of the Beko washing machine

With the advancement of technology, new features are added. Useful developments from "Beko" - in the table below.

Name Meaning
Removing animal hair Thanks to the large amount of water, the function allows you to maximally clean things from animal hair.
Panel lock After starting the program, the keys on the control panel are locked to avoid accidental pressing. This function is useful for those who have children in their home.
Aquafusion Save on detergent consumption with this function. It remains in the drum until the end of the cycle, which means economy and high quality washing.
Aquawave The system monitors the rotation of the drum, avoiding imbalance, which allows you to clean the laundry gently, without wrinkling.
Restart A useful function that allows, after a power outage, to resume the program at the interrupted stage.
Overfill protection A special sensor monitors the amount of water in the tank. If it exceeds the permissible level, the drain is automatically turned on.

How to choose the right mode in a washing machine

The selection of Beko programs does not differ in operating the different models. How to install and configure the mode is described in detail in the instructions.

Turn the selector knob to select a quick wash or any other. To set the temperature, turn the thermostat clockwise. The time depends on the length of the cycle.

one of the first to introduce direct drive technology. The concept of attractive design and functionality has been successfully implemented. Therefore, many users prefer the technique of this brand. In addition to the efficient operation of the internal components, the electronic control offers various washing modes in the LG washing machine. Which one to choose, our article will help you figure it out.

Descriptions and designation of the "AlGi" washing modes

The washing machine control panel is quite informative. Symbolic designations are extremely rare here. The main programs are signed and can be selected using the rotary selector. Additional modes are set using buttons or touch controls.

Each type of fabric requires its own care. The washing temperature is indicated on the label of your garment. How to choose the right one from the whole abundance of programs? To do this, it is enough to know what each of them is intended for.

The most popular wash cycle is the main wash. Depending on the complexity of the dirt and the type of fabric, you can choose:

  • Cotton... Suitable for cleaning heavy cotton fabrics. Intensive rotation of the drum provides the proper mechanical effect, and a high temperature of 90 degrees - heat treatment. Cycle time from 1.5 to 2 hours.
  • Quick cotton... Similar processing style, only for lightly soiled laundry. The duration was also reduced to 1.5 hours. The temperature can be adjusted from 40 to 60 ° C.
  • Fast 30... And this program will only take 30 minutes. But it is more suitable for freshening things up than for a full wash. Heating temperature does not exceed 30–40 ° С.

  • Synthetics or everyday wash... Suitable for everyday wear made of nylon, acrylic, polyamide fabrics. A slight heating of 40 degrees prevents stretching and shedding. The cycle time is 1 hour 10 minutes.

  • Delicate. Items will be processed for 60 minutes at 30 ° C. Gentle rocking of the drum will provide neat care for underwear, silk shirts, satin sheets.

  • Wool... The program can be called "Hand wash", because the slow rotation of the drum and the absence of spinning brings washing in the machine closer to manual work. Duration - 56 minutes, heating up to 40 ° С.

  • Duvet blanked... The name speaks for itself. The mode is intended for caring for bulky items for socks and household items: blankets, bedspreads, down jackets, jackets at a temperature of 40 degrees. The cycle time is 90 minutes.

  • Baby clothes... Small child's belongings require special care. In addition to a gentle wash for 1 hour and 40 minutes, the machine provides high-quality rinsing in a large amount of water.

In addition, LG technology offers additional programs and functions. They are used by users much less often, due to their specifics. But if you need special care for your laundry, then you can create it by pressing a button on the control panel.

  • Biocare. Difficult to remove stains from chocolate, wine, blood are easily removed thanks to this mode. At the same time, special enzymes in the powder are broken down, which helps to act on contamination.
  • Steam cleaning TrueSteam... During the washing process, steam is mixed with water, which removes household bacteria and allergens. It also smoothes creases and removes unpleasant odors. You can also use the "Freshen up" mode for things that are stuck in the closets. The duration will be 20 minutes.

  • TurboWash. This quick wash reduces the normal cycle time to 59 minutes. This saves electricity and water costs.
  • Hypoallergenic. The program runs at 60 ° C. Garments are rinsed abundantly, which helps to flush out powder residues, dust, wool and other allergens.

  • Quiet. Suitable for lightly soiled clothing. The spinning takes place with a minimum level of noise and vibration, so it is convenient to start the cycle at night.
  • Sportswear... Convenient to freshen up after your workout. Effective care of membrane tissues.

There are separate rinse, spin and dry cycles that you can run as needed. Also, the manufacturer has provided such a function as "Load cycle". Modern SMA models are controlled using the application, so you can download an additional program if you wish.

The publication describes common functions and modes. To clarify separately for your model, see the instruction manual.

Choice: how to set the mode in the LG washing machine?

How to install this or that program depends on the model of "LG". If this is an early release typewriter without a display, then turn the programmer and be guided by the blinking indicators.

Electronic and touch panels offer interaction with keys, touch buttons or program selector. Once selected, press the "Start / Pause" button to start the process.

It is not difficult to understand the control when all functions are signed. The main thing is to choose the right program for a particular type of fabric.

Most users don't really read the instructions before using the LG washing machine. Indeed, what is difficult here: I loaded the laundry, turned on the program and started the wash.

However, to get the best results, it is important to understand which LG mode is appropriate for a particular fabric. You also need to choose the right temperature and spin so that the clothes do not fade or stretch.

LG Program Table: Description and Symbols

Washing modes in the LG washing machine have their own names. There are practically no signs on the control panel, the manufacturer has signed each program.

For an explanation of programs and modes, see the table below.

How to choose washing modes in a LG washing machine

After reviewing the description of the modes, it's time to find out how to install and configure them. Basically, all panels of AlGi washers are similar. They may differ only in the presence of the display. If it is absent, indicators are installed that make it possible to understand which mode is running.

Using the selector, you can select the wash program for each fabric. As shown in the photo below, after selecting a function, the corresponding indicator will light up. The display shows the elapsed time, the spin level and the water temperature.

Below, under the display, there are buttons. With their help, you can:

  • Start or stop washing.
  • Select the spinning power.
  • Set the temperature between 30 and 95 degrees.
  • Turn the clipper on or off.

A lock is shown next to the numbers 1 and 2 on the display. This means that pressing the keys at the same time will lock the panel.

Buttons 3 and 4 are marked with an asterisk on the screen. This way you can run a single wash for 1 hour and 35 minutes. The key layout can act as a diagnostic function.

More often than not, users install only a few programs. The rest are used very rarely. The most popular wash cycle in the LG machine is the “Quick Program” for 30 minutes. Also "Cotton" and "Washing of children's clothes". The Delicates program is used less frequently.

The rest of the functions can also come in handy over time, so don't lose sight of them.

In the morning I told what the "system of auto-weighing of linen" is like in washing machines () and at the same time asked what washing modes you use. It turned out that of all the many modes, most people always use one or two.

After that, I decided to become an "advanced user" of my washing machine and downloaded the instruction manual from the manufacturer's website in the hope that I would read it again (7 years ago, when the machine was purchased, I read it, but I don't remember anything) and I will deal with all washing modes.

The instruction surprised me. I was badly surprised.

The only useful thing I learned from the instructions is the purpose of the trays. It turns out that powder for prewash is poured into the rightmost tray. The prewash is switched on with the button on the panel.

The washing mode is described in such a way that it is impossible to understand anything at all. The description of the "hand wash" mode is especially excellent: "The dry wash mode is located on the gentle wash panel". Is this a translation error or what did they even want to say?

The first Cotton program. Second "Cotton ECO". How they differ is unknown - there is not a word about it in the instructions. Perhaps all environmental friendliness lies simply in the impossibility of choosing a temperature of 95 degrees, or maybe there are differences in the washing program.

What is the difference between the Baby Clothes program and the Cotton program, apart from the absence of auto-weighing, is also unknown.

We read on. "If the laundry is heavily soiled, the Pre-Wash mode will be the most effective." "If the clothes are heavily soiled, use the Intensive Wash option. Uh. So what to use when the laundry is heavily soiled? Prewash or Intensive?"

"If you want to remove the stains of a protein habit (milk, blood, chocolate), you must select the Bio function by pressing the corresponding key." Fine. And what does the machine do? Unknown.

After studying the instructions from my LG WD-12400NDK washing machine, it does not surprise me at all that people do not use many washing programs, because from the instructions it is simply impossible to understand how they differ. Was it really difficult to write what the "Bio" button does, how the "Intensive" button changes the wash program and how the 9 programs PHYSICALLY differ from each other. After all, someone developed them, tried, and as a result I use only three and am not sure that my choice of programs is correct.

I wonder if all machines have such instructions or at least one of the manufacturers explains in detail how the programs differ?
