How to dress for women while driving. How to dress girls when driving a car Ideal shoes for driving a car - what they are

A long-distance truck driver (Aleksey Amelin) contacted our editorial office with good, in our opinion, advice, who drove almost 1.3 million kilometers in a heavy-duty vehicle in eight years without an accident. Over the course of these eight years, Alexey has practically traveled all over Russia, transporting various goods between the regions of the Russian Federation. This driver sent us which we think can help many car enthusiasts during the winter season.

When at the moment of movement by car you are unexpected, then you need to be very careful when making a decision. After all, your own safety depends on this. If you friends stopped to wait out the snowstorm, then if you do not have and did not have an emergency kit with you, which will help you in case of emergency in the winter, then never get out of the car. This is especially true for your warm clothing and items that can help clear snow drifts around the car.

While driving, you must learn and know a number of important rules for you, how exactly you need to behave while driving in bad blizzard weather in winter.

Below, dear friends, you can read and familiarize yourself with the advice that our regular reader, a truck driver, sent us to the editorial office.

1. Relax.

If you find yourself in difficult road conditions while driving in a car in winter, the most important thing is to remain calm and not to panic. If you are very nervous, this can affect your further reaction when driving a car, which can become excessive or insufficient and play a cruel joke with you.

2. Reduce speed.

If you are driving too fast, then in case of worsening weather conditions, be sure to reduce the speed by half. If you have the skill of slowing down a car specifically on snow or ice, then you can safely reduce the speed of your vehicle in a short time. Please remember that no one has yet canceled the laws of physics. Exactly because of this reason . If you slow down abruptly, you increase the risk of the vehicle skidding and losing traction.

If your car has a small ground clearance (clearance), then by reducing its speed you will reduce the formation of snow adhering under the bottom of your car, which always prevents the car from moving unhindered on the road.

3. Be careful.

Your actions on the winter road must be completely controlled and deliberate. Remember friends that fast acceleration, as well as hard braking and sharp turns of the steering wheel can cause loss of control and skidding of your vehicle.

Maintain an optimum low speed while driving. Keep your distance from other vehicles in the angle necessary for emergency braking of your vehicle. All movements should be smooth and careful, not abrupt.

4. Let there be light.

In inclement and cloudy weather, be sure to turn on the low beam headlights, this will help other drivers to see your car from a distance. Also, friends, do not forget to turn on the parking lights of the car in such weather, which help other drivers to see you and your car on the road.

5. Use light signals.

Many truck drivers around the world use a special driving technique when driving a car on the highway, to change lanes from row to row. In dry or rainy weather, in autumn, summer and spring, before changing lanes in the car, the truck driver turns on the turn signal and starts changing only after the turn signal blinks three times. That is, only on the third flashing of the gate, the driver begins his lane change in the car. But in winter weather, it is best to start rebuilding a car from row to row after the turn signal flashes 4 - 5 times.

If for some reason your speed by car in winter is lower than that of other road users, please move to the right lane and turn on the "emergency light" (hazard warning light). Thus, you will warn other car drivers that you are not just driving at a slow speed out of nothing to do. This will protect not only you, but also other road users.

In addition, by turning on the hazard warning light, you will prevent the congestion of cars behind you and will not irritate most car drivers.

6. Exercise caution on slippery roads.

Pay attention to the water on the road under the wheels of other vehicles while driving in cold weather. If there is a lot of water splashing on the road from passing vehicles, then. In this case, you need to take additional precautions. The point is this: at negative temperatures, snow or ice melted from the wheels of cars or from a reagent starts quickly and turns the road into a solid roller. If you suddenly see that the road is quite wet, and there is practically no splashing of water from cars, then be more careful and careful at such a moment, since such a road surface is considered the most dangerous. The absence of splashes on a wet road can tell you that most of the water on the road is simple and covered the asphalt with a thin layer of ice.

7. Watch out for truckers.

If the weather begins to deteriorate sharply and the trucks slow down, you, for your part, must do the same. If you began to notice that many drivers of heavy vehicles are trying to pull over and stop, then we advise you to do the same in bad weather. In no case does this advice, dear friends, recommend to you and does not force you to do the same and drive exactly like the same truckers. The point is different, namely, this is that all heavy vehicles have a much higher ground clearance (clearance) than light vehicles, these vehicles have large wheels and tires themselves (tires), and of course, of course, a greater total weight. Just remember friends that the lighter the car is, the easier it is to lose grip on the road itself. Also, do not forget that most truck drivers are concrete professionals and they (many) have millions of kilometers traveled behind them. That is why they are more confident and feel at home driving, it is not a sin to pay attention to them when driving their car in bad or terrible weather.

8. Don't stop.

If a snowstorm or fog while driving a car caught you by surprise and you see nothing further than the hood of your car, then do not suddenly stop abruptly. In order to stop, you need to choose the optimal safe and correct place. After stopping the car at such a moment abruptly, you can simply be brought in by the snow and your car will get stuck. As a rule, during heavy snowfalls, even many federal highways are cleared of snow by special equipment, including the roadsides and the exits themselves.

9. Wait out the bad weather.

The best and most practical advice for motorists in case of deterioration of visibility in winter is to leave the highway itself, go to a cleaned area or to a gas station, to a hotel, to a cafe or to a restaurant. Having parked your car in the parking lot, you can ride out the storm in a convenience store at a gas station, etc. etc. location.

Driving in heavy snow (snowfall) is very dangerous. And this is understood by almost all drivers of large trucks.

10. Traction of the car.

In the winter season, many cars often lose traction, this is due to the slippery road. But if you friends think that the reason for everything is ice on the road, then this is far from the case. In fact, the traction of the car is reduced precisely because of the lack of water between the tires and the road surface, which reduces the traction of the car in the winter. It should be noted right away that with a slight frost, a thin water film forms on the road, which can contribute to micro-aquaplaning of the car itself, which is fraught with unexpected skidding.

With deep tread. Also, this rubber should have small notches on the tread, which improve traction on rolled snow or ice-covered roads.

11. Extreme cold is not necessarily your enemy.

The greatest risk for any driver to lose traction in winter, which occurs when the air temperature is from +1 to -3 degrees. In colder weather of -6 to -12 degrees or colder, the car has more traction and has a much lower risk of skidding than in warmer temperatures.

You do not believe? Try this for yourself:-Take two ice cubes. Place one in a glass of water, and put the other in the freezer for 30 minutes. Now try to pick up an ice cube from a glass of water with your finger. (?) Draw your attention to how slippery this ice cube is, isn't it? After 30 minutes, touch the ice cube with your fingers. The fingers will literally stick to it by themselves. Here is your answer.

The same principle applies to driving a car itself. Ice becomes very sticky in severe frosts. But with a fast or slow movement of the car, a much greater amount of heat begins to act on the ice, which contributes to the greater melting of this ice crust on the road. Naturally, this in the future also reduces the very traction of the car.

Ultimately, we can summarize. You are solely responsible for the decisions you make when driving on the road. The most important thing depends only on you, whether you make the right decision or some other decision while moving along the road. If the road is too bad, we hope you make the right decision and stop. Let the road services rack their brains and do their job, let them better clear the road. (!)

A real woman remains so in any situation, even when it comes to serious activities like driving a car.

Men especially love to gossip about our uniforms while driving, often making jokes about the weaker sex. Is there a reasonable compromise between the convenience and beauty of her clothes? We turn on sanity and figure out which toilets make up the ideal wardrobe of a woman behind the wheel.

Cropped Outerwear

Agree, there is little pleasant when a luxurious long fur coat or coat becomes not "marketable" due to bruises and rubbing after a long sitting in a car seat. In addition, such outfits can significantly limit your mobility, and they are simply hot in the cabin of the car. Which exit? Choose short leather or quilted jackets, short woolen coats or short coats, “mini” coats and sheepskin coats, fur vests and so-called “quilts”. By the way, the outerwear for a woman driver should not be insulated from "a" to "z" at all: the fabric itself and the lining can be the most "reinforced" in terms of heat, and the sleeve is allowed to be lightweight at all. Pay attention to the type of fastener: it is better if the model has large buttons, rare loops, a zipper not to the bottom, or even has a wrap.

"Average" skirts and trousers

We will not surprise anyone with our opinion, but in (and their many varieties) it is incomparably more convenient to drive a vehicle than in skirts. The main thing is that the bottom of the kit, once borrowed from men, is not too wide and too long. The ideal solution would be classic variations, skinny jeans, trousers with cuffs or elastic bands on the ankle, which have a shortened length. But what about lovers of skirts who, even for the sake of a comfortable ride in a car, are not able to give up their favorite clothes? Choose a reasonable compromise. For example, excessive length will interfere with driving (there is a chance of getting tangled in the pedals), it is inconvenient to get in and out of the car, etc. A skirt that is too short or a pencil cut will also create problems getting in / out. The optimal choice is skirts (dresses, sundresses) of medium length and the same width.

The right shoes

In the case of an autoladdy, a suitable pair of legs will be one that will not interfere with driving. It is for this reason that shoes with rigid high soles and those that can easily fly off (for example, flip flops in summer) are sent to the "black list". Another proof of the failure of such models in the process of driving is the rapid loss of a decent "appearance", as a result - a worn back and an ever-soiled heel. To control the machine not only safe, but also comfortable, it is worth taking a closer look at closed shoes made of natural materials, tightly covering the leg or with a free bootleg, ballet flats, moccasins. Fans of heels can take some liberties, but on condition that the height of the heel does not exceed 5 cm.

It turns out that it is enough for a woman to dress properly and turn on attentiveness to make the process of driving a car enjoyable? No, you also need to pay due attention to the accompanying accessories that do their bit for safety. One of them - Sunglasses... They serve not only for beauty, they protect our eyes from bright sunlight, snow glare and blinding headlights of neighboring cars at nightfall. It's worth investing in this outfit to make sure it doesn't let you down. When buying, pay attention to the presence of anti-reflective coating, photochromic lenses, tight fit of glasses.

The second detail that must be used for young ladies with an average length of hair and below is hair tie or barrette... Of course, loose hair looks very impressive and attractive, but, alas, it is not at all safe in busy traffic. Just imagine: a strand straightened out of place by a hand or the wind blowing loose hair over the eyes can lead to tragedy with a responsible maneuver. You should not risk the health of all road users: it is worth collecting a neat bundle or braid, at least while driving.

The third attribute, optional but very useful - the presence of gloves in the cool season... Autolady, who have already tried to drive a car in them, claim that they will never part with their beloved couple. In addition to elegance, this accessory gives the hands the coveted warmth, which is so lacking in cold weather, which is very important for warm-loving young ladies. If you are thinking about buying such, please note: gloves made of thin leather that fit tightly to the hand are more suitable for driving a car. Driving with gloves made of elastic materials can be more effective, but it is not at all safe: the hand can jump off the steering wheel. Mittens and mittens are also not suitable.

A woman driving does not have to be gray and boring, but it does not hurt to focus on practicality and convenience. Ultimately, the lady who is more confident on the road looks much more attractive in the driver's seat. Last but not least, the correct equipment helps to achieve the latter, which does not distract the owner's attention.

Absolutely all cars, except for some disabled people, are equipped with control pedals. The manual transmission has three pedals, while the automatic has only two. Thus, at least one of the driver's feet is involved in driving the machine. And, believe me, it is not at all indifferent what this leg will be shod with.

Casual shoes are made for walking, sports shoes for running, jumping and other active activities. There are special shoes for windsurfing, rock climbing and even skydiving. However, there are shoes for drivers, but the latter are often forgotten about it. If you look at what car enthusiasts are wearing, then most of all this will correspond to "whatever it is". The last thing most drivers think about when buying shoes is how comfortable it will be to pedal in new shoes. And if the average men's shoes are more or less suitable for driving, then most of the models of women's shoes are created for completely different purposes.

The result of uncomfortable shoes on the feet of those who sit behind the wheel is an emergency or an accident with the wording “I lost control. Most often, handling problems are due to high heels, wedges, or too wide a sole that clings to adjacent pedals.

As strange as it may sound, the best shoe for driving a modern car is its absence. Yes, it would be most comfortable to drive barefoot, since the pedals are felt as much as possible, and the absence of any sole and heel means that there are no restrictions on “foot manipulation”. However, we are not in Africa, and therefore driving barefoot is out of the question. However, comfortable driving shoes should be as close to barefoot as possible.

And there are such shoes. We are talking about moccasins, but not classic ones, but with a special sole, the heel of which goes to the heel. In the West, these moccasins are often called “drivers shoos”. Their sole is made of soft leather, which is protected by several rubber pads. Driving moccasins are clearly not for many hours of walking. While it is very comfortable to step in, the shoe's delicate leather outsole will quickly wear off on the pavement. There are only two disadvantages of such moccasins. First, they are designed for the warm season; secondly, their style is only suitable for a free style. For business people who wear formal suits, driving moccasins are not suitable. In their case, it is best to choose classic boots with leather soles. Moreover, it is desirable that they are on laces - then it will be possible to easily adjust the rise. If you have a long trip, the laces need to be loosened a little so that the instep is not squeezed.

Choosing the right shoes for driving is complicated by seasonality, clothing style, and the gender of the driver in the end. Obviously, you won't be able to buy driver's shoes for all occasions. Therefore, the following will describe the main rules for choosing among shoes of a particular category.

Male drivers

Moccasins with a thin sole extending to the heel. There is a huge selection of driving moccasins for every taste and color. These moccasins go well with jeans or chinos, but never go with cargo pants or (sorry) tracksuit.

Sneakers
not specifically designed for driving, however some models are quite suitable for this. It is necessary to choose sneakers with thin soles, but such, the outlines of which are almost flush with the top. Thick rubber or foam soles won't work, which means just about all running, basketball, and volleyball shoes won't. You will not feel the pedal underfoot in these sneakers and will lose the tactile connection with the car. For the convenience of driving, it is advisable to prefer genuine leather products or with a mesh top to leatherette models. In these sneakers, the leg sweats less. Driving shoes are good, but they sweat a lot on the foot.

Formal shoes can be quite comfortable to drive. To do this, their soles must be leather or, at worst, synthetic, but as thin as possible. Models with long and narrow toes, which, by the way, are not worn anywhere except here, are life-threatening. Such socks can catch on the cockpit lining and not get on the pedal at the right time. Lace-up shoes are more preferable, as already mentioned above.

Winter boots and boots... The choice of winter driving shoes should be taken with the utmost care. The fact is that most men's winter boots and boots are lined with thick and wide soles, from which all the problems. Therefore, there is only one selection criterion - the thinnest and narrowest sole. In the city in winter, you can generally do with demi-season shoes, if you do not have long crossings in snow and slush.

Sandals not always suitable as driver's shoes. It all depends on their style. But since sandals are free style summer shoes, it is better to replace them with driving moccasins. By the way, moccasins can be worn on bare feet, as is customary in Europe. By the way, Americans almost never wear driving moccasins on their bare feet, but this is already their problem.

If, nevertheless, the choice fell on sandilia, then preference should be given to the styles that maximally repeat the shape of the foot. The sole, again, is better thin and narrow.

Flip flops- are contraindicated for driving. It would even be necessary to introduce a separate clause in the traffic rules prohibiting driving in flip-flops and slates. Due to the fact that such shoes are not fixed on the foot and, as a rule, have a wide sole, it is as easy as shelling pears to get tangled in the pedals. If the need makes you sit behind the wheel in slippers, then it is better to take them off and go barefoot.

Female drivers

For female drivers, all "male" recommendations are valid, including driving moccasins, which are also produced in the female version. These are undoubtedly the most comfortable driving shoes. But comfort, as you know, for the majority of the fair sex has never come first. Who among women has not dreamed of a spectacular exit from a car?! And what effect can we talk about if the legs are not "on heels." However, it is not in vain that high-heeled shoes often flaunt on the rear windows of women's cars. It is this heel that can cause inadequate maneuver. But women somehow manage to get used to getting on the pedals, although, I must say, this is a rather risky business.

High heel shoes and the car's pedals are extremely dangerous to combine. If a woman cannot imagine herself without heels, as well as without a car, then she should get replaceable shoes at low speed, which will be registered in the car.

Wedge or platform shoes... The degree of danger of such shoes is directly proportional to the thickness of the sole. In addition to the fact that the wedge heel deprives the foot of tactile contact with the pedal, it often clings to adjacent pedals, for example, when the foot is suddenly moved from the gas pedal to the brake pedal.

Mules- the option is not ideal. The heel will constantly slide onto the mat, making it dirty. For the same reason, all kinds of slippers are not suitable. In addition, they are not fixed with the foot and can fly off at any moment, getting stuck in the pedals at the most inopportune moment.

High heel boots dangerous in the same way as high-heeled shoes. There is only one piece of advice - do not be lazy to change into removable car shoes that can be easily hidden under the driver's seat!

All ladies think that driving in high-heeled shoes is extremely uncomfortable. Any woman, going to driving lessons at a driving school, carries variable shoes in her purse - moccasins or sneakers, and after the lessons, they keep replacement shoes in the car for the rest of her life.

In general, it is possible to drive a car in any kind of shoes. Women who have driven a car for more than one year absolutely agree with this. Although everywhere there are interesting moments. When you put on your delicate stiletto heels, you need to either keep your feet suspended or you will simply break the stiletto heels.
Believe me, it's pretty awkward to ride with your feet in the air, which leads to discomfort and exhaustion. In addition, shoes with a rigid platform should not be worn because you will not feel the pedals. In some states, when these shoes became fashionable, a law was issued about what is prohibited, drives in such shoes. As a result, car accidents were reported in large numbers. You can safely use all other shoes while driving your car.

Shoes
How to choose the right shoes for a car? What do the professionals recommend to us? Let's get straight to the point.
1. The best option is soft and comfortable shoes so that you can clearly feel the pedals
2. A wide, stable heel, including a high one, is always best for a stiletto heel or a glass
3. So do not wear. The first is shoes or boots with rather high, thin and unstable stilettos, in which the legs quickly get tired. The second taboo is this shoe on a thick rigid platform, when the pedals are very poorly felt. 3 is not for high, tight boots that cause inconvenience to the blood flow in the ankle, and then the leg becomes numb. All these cases of the accident are uncomfortable when driving and have every chance of leading to a car accident.
4. Winter shoes are exclusively made of natural leather, since, unlike synthetics, they perfectly absorb moisture. And after that, when it is warm in the car and you do not need to walk along the street for a long time, why do you need winter boots with fur? Low-rise shoes made of delicate leather will be many times the best.
5. Summer shoes - rather tight-fitting shoes, sandals - pumps, moccasins or slippers.

Cloth
No one denies that it is convenient to drive a car in trousers. However, this is not always appropriate. What to do if you just need to adhere to the dress code or you need to go to a glamorous party? Feel free to put on a skirt (dress) and drive a car. The only exceptions are tight, long skirts or a glass-like style, when the fabric converges to the knees and tightly fits the figure. It is difficult to sit in them luxuriously, since these skirts hinder movement when driving a motor vehicle, 2.
As well as. Some ladies simply cannot get into a car wearing skirts. If you want to get into the car beautifully, it is much better to practice. The method is as follows: open the car door - raise the skirt to a solid height - gently and gracefully land on the seat - throw in the legs. Do not forget to straighten your skirt beforehand when you sit down.

Outerwear
Driving when you are wearing "100 clothes" is too little joy. If you want to move in a long fur coat, change to the passenger seat or take it off. It doesn't matter how long and thick the outerwear will become uncomfortable and inconvenient for viewing, and when the stove is turned on, the effect of a Finnish sauna is added. Taking into account the opinion of professionals, a quilted jacket is perfect for a lady, which perfectly matches both pants and a skirt, in fact, it will not be superfluous to also note that, at present, it is quite in line with fashion. The jacket will not wrinkle, it keeps warm very well.
And if you say - when will the car break down? And even in the winter? In such a case, there must be a blanket and a shabby warm jacket in the trunk, which will help you wait for technical assistance.

Important
Glasses behind the wheel of a car are not a tribute to the "dashing rider" fashion, but rather an essential thing. In the summer, the glasses protect the eyes from the bright sunlight, and in the winter - from the dazzling snow. No need to spare money, buy lenses - a chameleon made of optical photochromic glass. In bad weather, these glasses will sharpen the outlines, and in the sun they will stand up to protect against shine. The color of the glasses is better than brown or greenish colors, although not completely dark.

Another necessary thing is auto gloves. You never know what an obstacle is on the highway, the steering wheel will knock out and - the ditch is inevitable. And the steering wheel just won't break out of excellent auto gloves. And they are obliged to meet strict standards: wrist braces, cropped fingers, holes in the phalanges of the fingers, everything is as it should be.
In addition, a lady must always have a set of cotton gloves in the glove compartment just in case: protect your manicure and fingers from splinters and cuts!

And lastly. A beautiful lady in a car is something that every man will not take his eyes off. We agree. There is only 1 question left - do you need to meet or get to the right place? In the case of the first - wear your fur coat, hairpins, a tight-fitting skirt and pretend that your car has broken down. And when you need to move, then our recommendations will be by the way. Excellent road to you!

It's no secret that women have a special riding style that is incomprehensible to the opposite sex. This does not mean that they drive much worse. On the contrary, according to traffic police statistics, women are 12 times less likely than men to be responsible for serious accidents. On the other hand, they are in the lead in offenses "on trifles".

Almost all books and recommendations for winter driving are written by men. Therefore, we women do not quite understand them. No one says a word about many important things: men consider them well-known. Maybe if your driving experience is more than 10 years, this is the case. But for those who have their first winter on wheels ahead, every little thing matters.

So, here are 10 important commandments for auto lady in winter:

1. Don't skimp on car maintenance. You need to take your four-wheeled friend to a car service or show it to a good master. He will conduct a technical inspection and, if necessary, fix any problems. And do not forget to “change” the car in time: replace summer tires with winter ones when the average daily temperature drops to 5-7 ° C above zero.

2. Do not be lazy to dig the car out of the snow every day. Most female car enthusiasts don't bother with this job. They only clear a small section of the front and rear windows, hoping that everything else will melt along the way. Thus, they significantly impair visibility and create accidents on the road.

3. Change to a winter driving style: the driving speed should be much lower than what you are used to in the warm season. Avoid sudden movements, drive smoothly and be extremely careful!

4. Leave room for maneuver. If the car is built up in the snow and cannot move out, do not press the gas pedal to the floor! Firstly, by doing this you will only aggravate the situation: the wheels will grind the snow, turning it into ice, or they will bury themselves even more in a snowdrift. Secondly, the car can suddenly jump out of the snow cap and damage nearby cars. If you can't get out, try the "swing" method, alternately engaging first gear, and when rolling back, reverse. As a result, having “rocked” well, the car will leave the trap. You can also try pulling away in second gear. If this does not help - shovel in hand and forward - clear the way for the car and remove the snow from under the wheels. If you carry sand with you, pour it under the drive wheels, if there is no sand, carpets from the passenger compartment can help.

5. Eliminate emergency braking. Many women, as soon as the green light starts blinking, brake without looking in the rearview mirror. The yellow light exists in order to complete the movement and not create emergency situations. If on a dry road you are only scolded for such behavior, then in winter the consequences can be much more sad. You should especially be wary of road sections in front of intersections, traffic lights and on hills: due to constant braking and acceleration, the road surface here often turns into an ice rink. Also, try to avoid hard braking while turning the steering wheel, otherwise you will get a skid!

6. Do not drive in neutral. For women, especially at first, squeezing the clutch is not an easy exercise. Therefore, when cornering, they simply put the gearbox in "neutral". On a slippery road, this behavior can cause you to lose control of your vehicle.

7. Be prepared for a skid movement. Nobody is safe from drifts. Even if you always drive much quieter than the speed limit allowed by the rules and only in the far right lane. Therefore, it is necessary to at least theoretically learn the rules of behavior during drifts, and they depend on the type of vehicle drive. Most beginners instinctively put on the brake at a critical moment. By doing this, they only worsen their situation.

For cars with front-wheel drive, you need to add a little gas so that the front wheels pull the car out when skidding.

For rear wheel drive vehicles, you must release the throttle, but do not apply the brake. In winter, it is generally recommended to brake with the engine, and not with the pedal, if possible.

8. Rebuild like a man. Many motorists, regardless of their driving experience, act according to the “count to five” rule when changing lanes. That is, they turn on the turn signal, count to five and, without looking in the mirrors, make a maneuver. In the daytime, a man, noticing such behavior of a beautiful lady, tries to stay away. But when visibility is almost zero, no one will tell your gender. So don't expect indulgences.

9. Respect your neighbor. Nobody is obliged to let you go ahead. Similar rules of etiquette apply to your pedestrian girlfriends. On the road, everyone is equal, regardless of car model and gender. When demanding respect from others, do not forget about the elementary rules of behavior yourself.

10. Don't count on your appearance. Before getting behind the wheel, try to understand (at least approximately) the device of the car and how to eliminate the most common breakdowns. This summer, you can still hope that fellow travelers, stunned by your unearthly beauty, will come to the rescue. In winter, when it's frosty, snowy outside and nothing is visible, this is unlikely to work.

In winter, the car should always have:

  • additional warm mittens, gloves, a hat, shoes will not be in the way
  • brushes for cleaning glass and sweeping snow from the car
  • ice scrapers
  • small shovel
  • there will be no extra container with sand (add under the wheels if necessary)
  • liquid "Anti-ice" (in an aerosol or pulverizer) - will help to rid the glass of ice and snow, as well as open frozen doors and locks
  • special winter windscreen washer fluid that does not freeze at low temperatures (containers with such fluid usually indicate the temperature for use)

That's basically it. Observing these, as well as other "male" rules, you can enjoy winter driving.

Bon Voyage!
