I will tell you a story that happened over 2 thousand years ago. This is a story about how the son of God Jesus Christ was born on earth. His mother was the girl Maria. Even before her birth, Mary's parents made a vow to devote the girl to the service of God. When Mary was 3 years old, according to tradition, she was first introduced into the temple. From an early age until her girlhood, Mary should have lived at the temple. She was brought up there for 12 years. Having reached the age of majority, the girl had to leave the temple. The priest, as it should be, chose for her a “betrothed” - an elderly widower, in whose house she, observing a vow, would lead the household. The choice fell on Joseph of Nazareth. After the betrothal, Mary settled in the house of Joseph, where an event took place, which the church revered as one of the greatest holidays - the Annunciation. An angel appeared to the Virgin Mary and announced that she would give birth to the Son of the Most High.
Jesus was born an ordinary man and grew up in an ordinary family. Christ was born to atone for the sins of all people. He brought goodness and light into the world. Jesus healed from suffering and disease: the blind began to see, the deaf - to hear, and the lame - to walk.
Jesus wanted people to become better, so that we become like God.

On this night, Mary's child was born - the Son of God. She put it in the nursery, where the cattle feed usually lay. The little bull and donkey warmed the Baby Jesus with their breath, and the Mother - the Mother of God - sang a lullaby to Him ...

Staging "Shepherds"
The lights are dimmed in the hall. In the free space, there are three shepherds sitting on logs around the fire. A bonfire can be depicted using colored paper from which tongues of flame have been cut. The presenter voices the events taking place. The music gives way to solemn music and an angel enters. A ray of light is directed at him, so it becomes clear that he is wearing white clothes. He asks the shepherds not to be afraid, because he is just a messenger of God who brought great news. Says that today the Savior of all mankind has come to the world. Grandmother: The shepherds immediately believed the messenger and, leaving all their work, went to the city to bow down and pay the first honors to the baby Jesus. This was the beginning of the tradition that we love very much - to decorate the Christmas tree. After that, the grandmother says that it used to be customary to dress up not with such toys as now, but with sweets. Sometime children did not receive sweets every day. That is why they were even tastier when taken from the tree. Painted vegetables and fruits were also used. The tree was decorated with the whole family on the last day before the onset of the holiday. Then a box with toys is taken out and all the children and adults are engaged in decorating the tree.
