Plastic eurocubes. Varieties and selection of new Eurocubes Typical Eurocube sizes

The range of application of cubic containers in industry, agriculture and everyday life is quite wide. Plastic cubes with a filler hole are used for storing and accumulating liquids, for transporting various substances that do not react with the walls of containers, including hazardous substances of the first and second groups. In agriculture, a 1000 liter European water cube is irreplaceable: it accumulates water for irrigation of plantings.

5 reasons to choose a Eurocube from HDPE

The cubic shape guarantees the stability of the container;
The strength and lightness of the plastic makes it easy to transport;
Due to their geometric shape, they can withstand a serious load;
The plastic euro cube is safe for health and the environment and is suitable for storing food products;
It is a reliable storage facility for liquid and bulk materials.

Production of Eurocubes on modern equipment

The production company "Plastform" LLC produces reliable and easy-to-use plastic eurocubes of various capacities and purposes:
Cube containers on a wooden pallet;
On a metal pallet;
On a plastic pallet.
Polyethylene containers manufactured by Plastform LLC are manufactured on modern German equipment and undergo a series of tests for impact resistance and tightness. Each container is installed on a pallet made of wood, metal or plastic and is surrounded by a steel grate. As a rule, the capacity of such a container is 1000 liters, but on order you can buy a eurocube with a capacity of 800 liters.
Do you want to order high-quality and reliable cubic plastic containers? The specialists of Plastform LLC will offer you new or used Eurocubes that have undergone pre-sale training and testing.

Cube containers made of polyethylene are in high demand today. This is due to the reasonable ratio of price and quality of polyethylene products in comparison with vat containers made of other materials (for example, the price for vat tanks made of polyethylene is 2-5 times lower than similar products made of stainless steel).

Such products are used in various activities and businesses for the transportation and storage of various types of liquids - from food to chemicals (including those with hazard categories).
In the production of vat containers, the rotational molding method is used. All production processes are fully automated, so the "human factor" and the risk of error are minimized in this case.

Rotational molding is one of the simplest methods for processing plastics, and at the same time it is one of the most effective. This method is the only one that allows you to produce a product that is one hundred percent identical in shape to the customer's sketch.
The rotational molding method can be roughly divided into three stages: loading of raw materials and heating, cooling, extraction.

Let's take a closer look at each stage.
At the first stage of filling and heating the raw material, the raw material is placed in the mold placed on the rotary molding machine. The amount of raw materials is precisely calculated in advance. Further, the form, constantly rotating in two planes, is sent to the oven, the temperature of which is constantly monitored. The polyethylene melts and evenly covers the inner surface of the mold.

In the second stage, the cooling stage, the mold, which does not stop rotating, is moved to a zone of low temperature. Due to the constant rotation, the versatility of the product is achieved. the rotation speed, like the temperature, is constantly monitored.

At the third stage, the vat is removed from the mold. And the process is repeated again.
Finished products undergo several types of strength tests.

Unlike other production methods, rotational molding produces a product of higher quality, stronger and more wear-resistant. The cube container turns out to be solid - without seams, the wall thickness is the same at any point, and in the corners, where the product requires the greatest strength, there is more material.

The rotational molding method makes it possible to produce vat containers of any geometric shape (square, cubic, angular, vertical, horizontal, etc.). It also allows the manufacture of containers with a different number of holes, as well as with any number of embedded elements (including metal). In addition, it is possible to manufacture a product with double walls.

Polyethylene vat containers do not crack when stored in the sun, heat and frost-resistant (from -40 ° C to +50 ° C), are not affected by aggressive media and corrosion.
In the West, rotational molding is the most common method for processing plastics. It is used by Greif, Mauzer, Schutz. In Russia, this industry has only recently begun its development, and is represented on the market by Greif CIS.

For the correct choice of Eurocubes, it is necessary to take into account the specific requirements imposed on them, as well as the following factors:

The nature of the product to be filled (for example, flammability, corrosiveness, polluting nature of the environmental impact or other properties that are dangerous), the density of the product and its chemical compatibility with the material of the bottle and the sealing gasket of the drain valve;
transport legislation and terms of delivery;
storage conditions;
method of emptying, place of use, methods of handling goods;
return of eurocubes, their preparation for reuse or disposal.

As soon as we have such information, we will be able to recommend you the correct Eurocube model that meets all the necessary requirements.

Please keep in mind that there are the following types of Eurocubes:

1. Standard Eurocubes designed for transportation and storage of non-hazardous liquids, products and materials, for example, Ecobulk LX or Ecobulk MX, WERIT ECOline.

2. Eurocubes with UN (UN) or DOT (UN31HA1 / Y) certificates (admission), intended for the transportation of hazardous materials (except for Eurocubes with 400 mm necks), for example, Mauser SM 13 UN, WERIT TOPline;

3. Eurocubes made of materials compatible with food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products and approved for use by European regulations EU / 1935/2004 and FDA (Food and Drug Administration), USA, for use in industries with the highest requirements for standards product quality and hygiene, e.g. Ecobulk MX FDA, Ecobulk MX-EV FDA, WERIT NUTRIline, Flubox Food.

The inner layer of the bottles of such Eurocubes is made of food grade polyethylene, which confirms: 1) the green label indicated above, located on the identification plate (Note - since 2013 on the labels of Schutz Eurocubes, in addition, a new standard for packaging Schutz food products is indicated FOODCERT, which not only ensures full compliance with the material in contact with food, but also gives a full guarantee of safety to production processes and properties of food products); 2) a green screw cap on the filler neck of the bottle; 3) a green handle and lid on the drain valve of the eurocube. These signs make it possible to clearly identify food eurocubes and use them both for domestic needs (watering of beds, a reserve of drinking water and water for a shower), and in industries where:

Concentrates of drinks and syrups;
cool drinks;
liquid seasonings and sauces;
edible oils and vinegars;
milk products;
fruit and vegetable concentrates;
enzymes and vitamins;
spices and aromas.

At the end of 2013, the new Mauser FP 15 Aseptic was presented for loading, transporting, with guaranteed sterility, and emptying heat-sensitive food products (fruit and vegetable concentrates, juices with pulp, pastes, dairy products, egg yolk, etc.), including products with high viscosity (honey).
In this model, the polyethylene container is replaced by a flexible polypropylene fabric bag, inside which is placed an insert made of metallized polyethylene film.

Greif has released a similar novelty - the Flubox Flex Eurocube, which also uses the "bag in box" concept.

Schutz has launched the Ecobulk MX-FC and Ecobulk MX-FC-EV, which set a new standard in food safety and ensure compliance with all available food standards for materials, processes and products.
And also the following new products Ecobulk MX-CC and Ecobulk MX-CC-EV have appeared for use in areas where it is required to ensure the highest standards of safety and technical purity of packaging for materials, products and production processes.

WERIT introduced the STERIline (antimicrobial polyethylene eurocube), the bulb of which, together with the tap and the plastic lid, are designed to prevent any microbial contamination of the stored food by most algae, bacteria, fungi, viruses or mold and to promote automatic self-cleaning. This prevents the growth and spread of contaminating pathogens.

4. Eurocubes, with multilayer polyethylene bottles, specially designed for use in hazardous areas 1 and 2 (yellow label), for products with low flash points, for example, Mauser SM 13 EX, Ecobulk MX-EX, with a new threaded flange and cable, as a result of which steel plates and self-tapping screws are not required for crane grounding when using Eurocubes in hazardous areas, WERIT POLYex.

The inner layer of such Eurocubes is made of food-safe polyethylene, and the outer layer is made of an antistatic compound, which protects the bottle from the accumulation of electrostatic charge on it during the entire life of the Eurocube.

Eurocubes intended for use in hazardous areas 1 and 2, in addition, can be electrically conductive or antistatic.

5. Electrically conductive Eurocubes (with Cenelec certificate) for the transportation of flammable (with a flashpoint less than 60 ° C) or explosive products, as well as for working with them in rooms with an explosive atmosphere (the conductive outer layer of black polyethylene of the bottle protects the Eurocube from dangerous electrostatic charge, and a grounded drain valve discharges the electrostatic charge of the filled product) (Mauser SM 13 EX), or they can be with embedded carbon nanotubes, Ecobulk MX-EX conductive.

6. Antistatic Eurocubes with a white outer bottle layer (Ecobulk MX-EX antistatic, WERIT POLYex, Flubox Elektron) optimally protect products from dangerous electrostatic discharge.

To eliminate the potential risk of electric charge from the products being filled, Eurocubes are equipped with continuous grounding through the drain valve, crate and pallet.

7. Eurocubes with protection of photosensitive products from UV radiation and visible light, with bottles made of black polymer (Ecobulk MX-EX-EV conductive), white bottles (Mauser SM 13 LP (Light Protect), white (TiO2) or black ( black graphite, option) (WERIT PROTECline), while a special white pigment reflects the sun's rays, and thus limits the temperature level inside the eurocube, unlike black bottles;

A special opaque bottle is made of a material that is a mixture of polyethylene and an additive that protects products from UV radiation and visible light even in such geometrically inaccessible places as, for example, near the drain cock or the upper filler neck. Compared to Eurocubes with an all-metal frame, these Eurocubes have a decisive advantage.

Unlike conventional Eurocubes, which provide protection from light with black bottles, the white bottle reflects the sun and therefore limits the temperature inside the bottle, while the black bottle heats up significantly more. This is of particular importance as many light-sensitive products also tend to react chemically at these elevated temperatures.

8. Eurocubes, with a barrier layer of EVOH (copolymer of ethylene and vinyl alcohol), which for a long time effectively protects the contents from the access of oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen (thereby protecting products from oxidation, loss of vitamins and microbial contamination), protects substances containing solvents such as toluene, xylene, gasoline, alcohol, as well as oils and greases, from accidental loss of quality, protects highly volatile products and aseptic liquids from the leakage of aromas and odors during their transportation and storage (Ecobulk MX-EV);

9. Eurocubes for transporting products with high viscosity (paints, varnishes, adhesives, resins, food such as honey), which have tapered front edges (Ecobulk MX-HV), 400 mm filler neck and DN 150 drain valve (Ecobulk MX) for the most efficient drainage of product residues, as well as new products (Ecobulk HX and Ecobulk HX-EX), with outstanding characteristics for emptying product residues by almost 100% thanks to the steeply sloping sides of the base of the inner bottle and the low-level drain cock;

10. Explosion-proof eurocubes (Ecobulk SX-EX), intended for use in hazardous areas (Hazard Class 1 and 2), have an outer all-metal casing (casing) made of galvanized steel sheet, and, therefore, electrically conductive, at the same time, its surface the resistance is less than 104 ohms, and no electrostatic charge can occur on the outer casing, and in addition, the product is provided with increased protection against mechanical stress and high temperature.

11. Unique fireproof Eurocubes (Ecobulk SX-EX-UL), having an outer all-metal jacket (casing) made of galvanized steel sheet and designed in such a way that they can withstand fire for at least 20 minutes before the Eurocube starts to leak (when sprinkler fire extinguishing system).

12. Eurocubes Mauser Repaltainer are partially made of recycled polyethylene (pallet and top cover) and can be used in extreme climatic conditions and withstand high levels of mechanical stress.

II. New Eurocubes of domestic production are a worthy alternative to used imported euro cubes, have an optimal price-quality ratio and are offered at the best market prices.

Sometimes a justified way out, allowing you to save on the purchase of new Eurocubes, can be the replacement of a used bottle with a completely new bottle, complete with a tap and a top cap (new, on order), while the crate with the pallet remains old.

III. Cube corrugated containers, a kind of analogs of Eurocubes, are also available. For most applications, they are reusable, but sometimes they are especially justified when sending goods, for example, to remote objects or for a one-time receipt of goods from a remote place, when it is advisable to use disposable containers (See corrugated containers for bitumen).

All new quality Eurocubes can be offered to you at very competitive prices.

Eurocube is a special tank made of polymer material with a bottom pallet. It is made in the form of a cube. For its strength and practicality in use, it began to quickly spread and be used both in car washes, construction sites, and in the oil and chemical industries. And recently, in ordinary life, an application has been found for this type of reservoir. Strong polymers are used for the manufacture of containers. Recently, polymers have become very popular, as they can replace other stronger and more expensive materials.

Types of Eurocubes

A wide variety of models are offered on the market, differing in different dimensions, materials or volumes. At the same time, it is possible to single out these parameters for general characteristics:

  • External mesh (lathing)... Almost always made of a rigid frame, with a pallet installed underneath. Manufactured using steel. Some models may have wooden or plastic pallets. All this completely depends on the purpose for which the eurocube is purchased.
  • By form almost always these products resemble a cube. This form is most convenient for transportation or use.
  • The tank itself made of durable polyethylene. The manufacturer most often chooses the PE 100 grade of polyethylene for the walls of the container.
  • Wall thickness also depends on the purpose of use and most often the range is from 1.5 to 2 millimeters.
  • Colors... White is offered as a standard color. But at the same time, if there is a desire, it is possible to paint the eurocube in any other color.
  • Water drain tap... It is best to choose a model with a ball valve. It is more reliable and will last longer. Some models are equipped with a piston valve, but it is not as reliable.

By design, Eurocubes are divided into:

A small number of companies are engaged in the production of such tanks in Russia, but despite this, such tanks are widespread due to convenient functions and wide possibilities for various applications. The most common is 1000 liters.

Why and where they are used

These tanks are multifunctional and can be used not only by large industrial enterprises, but also by ordinary summer residents. The second name of the Eurocube is IBC container. It was named so because the main purpose is to transport liquid substances, which can be both conventional and aggressive. There are no analogues of these plastic containers that would be more convenient and would allow you to store and transport bulk and liquid substances.

The tank, which has a volume of 1000 liters, can be used not only by large companies for their own purposes, but also by ordinary people. For example, for arranging your life in a private house. The plastic tank of the Eurocube is very durable and very lightweight, is not exposed to even the most aggressive chemicals and can successfully withstand any atmospheric influences. All these advantages are achieved using the blowing method or, in another way, roto-forming.

Containers can be reused. But it should be borne in mind that if previously there was a transportation of harmful chemicals in it, then it can not be used for all purposes. The remains of harmful substances in any case have eaten into the plastic and can be harmful to health, even if, for example, watering the garden from such a Eurocube. At the same time, if previously an ordinary harmless liquid or ordinary water was transported in a container, then it can be used for domestic needs. There are also companies that can wash and steam eurocube of any size from 1000 liters and more.

Accordingly, depending on the purpose, there is no need to buy a new container. The cost of a used plastic cube will be much less, and the effect is almost equal. If you buy a new plastic container, the price will be high.

How to use the tanks handheld

These plastic tanks are very widespread throughout the country. They are comfortable, versatile and can last for many years. At a summer cottage or in a country house, you can always find the use of a Eurocube capacity, in which 1000 liters. The main purposes of using previously used tanks are:

  • The use of a container for watering the garden with water;
  • summer shower cabin;
  • septic tank from eurocube;
  • everyday needs such as washing a car.

It should be noted again that such containers should not be used for storing drinking water. It is not known what was in this container before and there is no way to completely get rid of the chemicals from the walls of the tank. For food purposes, buy a new container and then you can safely use it.

Eurocube dimensions

These tanks also come in standard sizes like other similar products. All the required dimensions are indicated in the upper and lower parts, so that it is clear whether it fits or not. A 1000 liter container is 1200 mm long, 1000 mm wide, and 1160 m high. Of course, deviations of plus or minus 10 mm from these dimensions are possible. The volume is not less than the declared one, and maybe a little more. The mass is about 53 kilograms.

The bulk of the companies that produce Eurocubes closely follow the standard sizes. For this reason, if you want to purchase a Eurocube, it will not be difficult to calculate the size and determine the number of required tanks.
