How do you like these green horseshoes for good luck, decorated with flowers made of ribbons and beads?! Isn't it very beautiful!!

Or such voluminous flowers made of beads?? But this will require special beadwork skills.

But gentle eights made of felt are also very useful.

Look what a delicate basket with flowers made of satin fabric, it looks very festive!!

Volumetric eights made of paper are always in place, especially if you know how to work with such delicate patterns.

I also really liked the idea with the pincushion, and we get not only a pincushion, but also a jar for storing various small items. Look how easy it is to do!!

Of course, the female sex is very fond of sweets and flowers. I decided to combine these preferences and make such a nice present.

  • Basket of flowers

We will need: a candy box (preferably with candies), colored paper, cardboard, colored table napkins, scissors, glue stick.

Manufacturing process:

1. Use a whole box of rectangular chocolates as a background.

2. Take two sheets of colored paper in different shades of brown, cut them into strips 1 cm wide.

3. Now intertwine stripes of different shades perpendicular to each other (Fig. 2).

4. Cut an oval 13 cm long and 10 cm wide from cardboard of any color.

5. Glue this oval to the wicker rug from the wrong side (Fig. 3).

7. If you have ends protruding from the canvas, tuck them in and glue them to the oval from the wrong side. You should get our basket.

8. Stick it on a box of chocolates.

9. Now take 6 napkins of different colors and, folded, cut out circles with a diameter of 4-5 cm. Glue these circles together and make a circular cut.

10. And from yellow paper, cut out circles with a diameter of 1-1.5 cm and also make a circular cut. These centers need to be glued to the center of the flowers.

11. Using the stencil given below, cut out 9-10 leaves and stick them on the basket (Fig. 5).

12. Glue flowers between the leaves and your congratulations are ready!!

How do you like this idea?! In my opinion, it was very excellent and original, since they made it with their own hands and also treated them to sweets.

Video about how to make roses from cotton pads

And no matter what you say, the main gift on International Women’s Day remains flowers, and most often they give roses and tulips.

It turns out that beautiful bouquets can be made not only from paper, but also from cotton pads. And this is done very, very simply, I think you will see this when you look at the following story:

Well, were you impressed?! Now we’ll see what types of flowers can still be made from this available material.

Interesting ideas for congratulations made from threads

While still writing this article, I came across some very magical and soft-looking works made from threads. Mostly fluffy threads are used for knitting. The manufacturing technology is simple, it is either appliqué or joining into a bundle and cutting to the desired shape.

Here's a look at how you can make this yellow dandelion step by step.

Based on the cannons, you can also make a mimosa sprig.

Or applique: draw a plot on the base, and wind the threads and glue it along the contour.

And if you know how to knit or crochet, then make such a lovely box and decorate it with beads.

classes with students of the creative association “Testoplastika”

for the holiday

The visual activity of people is very multifaceted. Children become acquainted with its various aspects throughout their lives - in everyday life, in preschool institutions, at school, in the system of additional education.

One of the types of visual arts that is accessible and interesting to children is modeling from salt dough. Artistic modeling allows you to solve a wide range of educational, educational, and developmental problems. In the process of this activity, children master techniques and techniques for working with plastic materials, become familiar with the basics of modeling, master knowledge of a visual and artistic nature, have the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities, and express their vision of the world around them in the process of creative activity.

At the same time, it is known that modeling classes can develop cognitive horizons, develop visual-figurative thinking, and cultivate the motive for work (the need for work, the desire to benefit people, the desire to master a profession and achieve high results in work). Modeling allows a child to hone high artistic skills, independently introduce innovations in the art of modeling, and develop identified talent. Working with salt dough allows each child to develop self-confidence.

At the same time, salt dough is a wonderful material for modeling. It is plastic, delicate, soft. Unlike regular plasticine, the dough does not stain your hands. When kneaded correctly, the salt dough does not crumble, does not crack, and is preserved for quite a long time.

Handmade souvenirs from it are in great demand. This is a wonderful gift for any celebration and holiday.

Many teachers have the problem of choosing a technique and material for making a gift item and often stop at making a postcard.

In this methodological development, I propose to study the technique of making a photo frame from salt dough by March 8th.

Lesson topic: Craft manufacturing technology for the holiday 8th Martha “Gift for Mom”

Target : make a gift - a photo frame from salt dough.

Tasks:

continue to learn how to sculpt flowers from salt dough, using various techniques: rolling the dough between your palms, pinching off small parts, connecting small parts using water, consolidating knowledge about the structure of flowers;

develop students’ communicative and creative abilities;

to cultivate hard work and perseverance, a tender and grateful attitude towards mothers, to promote the development of aesthetic taste, and the formation of a perception of beauty.

Equipment: computer presentation "Photo Frames"

Handout: white and pink salt dough, brushes, jars of water, modeling boards, stacks, frame template.

Expected Result: making a photo frame that can be used as a gift or home decoration.

Progress of the lesson:

Stage I. Organizational and preparatory.

conversation, game, demonstration .

Hello guys! Before I announce the topic of our lesson, please tell me: What time of year is it now? What month? What holiday do we celebrate in March?

Whom do we congratulate on this holiday?

Each of us has our own mother, mommy. When you were just born and didn’t yet know how to speak, your mother understood you without words, guessed what you wanted, where it hurt. Mom's voice cannot be confused with any other voice. He is so familiar, so dear. Mom is the giver of warmth, love and beauty. Congratulations not only to mothers, but also to grandmothers, sisters, girls and all women. It's International Women's Day.

I'll tell you a little about this now.

Historical reference.
More than a hundred years ago, women began to jointly fight for their rights, because until then they received lower wages for the same work as men, did not have the right to vote in elections and the right to receive vocational education. Housekeeping was considered the only activity decent for a woman.

With demands to equalize the rights of men and women, on March 8, 1857, a protest was organized in America by women workers in clothing and shoe factories.

And in 1910, the International Women's Conference met in Copenhagen. One of them, Clara Zetkin, proposed celebrating International Women's Day. This holiday should have annually reminded the whole world that in all areas of life, women should have equal rights with men.

More than a hundred years have passed since then. During this time, a modest housewife turned into a businesswoman, politician, and scientist. But she still remained the mistress and keeper of the home.

On March 8, we, of course, congratulate women on their professional achievements. But much more willingly - because they cook deliciously, create comfort in the house, and warm everyone with their care and love. After all, the most important thing in every person’s life is his family, which gives him support for the rest of his life, and the main person in the family is, of course, his mother.

Russian people came up with many proverbs and sayings about mothers:

    A mother's prayer will reach you from the bottom of the sea.

    The bird rejoices in the spring, and the baby rejoices at the mother.

    There is no friend like your own mother.

    It's warm in the sun, good in mother's presence.

    Maternal anger is like spring snow: a lot of it will fall, but it will soon melt.

    A loving mother is the soul of the family and the decoration of life.

And today we will make gifts for our beloved mothers. And what kind of gifts THIS will be, you can find out by guessing the riddle and answering a few questions:

This eye is a special eye

He will quickly look at us

And will be born

The most accurate portrait of you. (Camera.)

- That's right, it's a camera. Why do we need a camera? With its help we can take pictures. Why do we need photographs? Photos can be placed in an album or in a frame. Look how many different frames there are. Notice how different and beautiful they are. There are photo frames with floral patterns, animals, berries and fruits. Photos look great in them.

A framed photo can be placed on a shelf or hung on the wall. The photo looks beautiful in a photo frame. You can also choose a photo frame based on the subject of the photo.)

I I stage. Basic.

Methods and techniques used: conversation, independent work .

It is the making of the frame that we will now deal with. But before we begin the practical part of our lesson, I will introduce you to the rules for T/B:

1. Carefully use special tools and available devices when working;

2. Do not put salted dough in your mouth under any circumstances;

3.Do not lick your fingers;

4. Don't rub your eyes with dirty hands;

5. After work, be sure to wash your hands with soap and clean up your work area.

Well, now we’ll warm up a little and start sculpting.

Flowers grow in the meadow

Unprecedented beauty.

(Stretching - arms to the sides.)

The wind blows sometimes

It's just not a problem .

(The guys wave their hands, imitating the wind.)

Flowers reach for the sun.

Stretch with them too.

(Stretching - arms up.)

Flowers bend down

The petals drop.

( Tilts)

And then they get up again

And they still bloom.

Gymnastics for fingers

Here are my assistants, turn them any way you want:

Rotate your hands.

And this way, and this way, they won’t be offended in any way.

We rub it with our hands.

One two three four five. (Clap)

They can't sit again. (Shake your brushes)

They knocked. (Knock on the desk with our fingertips)

Turned it around. (Circular rotations with a brush)

And they wanted to work. (Rub with hands)

We tried, we drew,

Our fingers are tired. (Squeeze and unclench your hands)

And now we will rest... (Shake your brushes)

Let's start drawing again. (Rub with hands)

The fish splashed happily

In clean fresh water, (We wave our hands freely)

They will shrink, they will unclench, (Clench and unclench your fists)

They will bury themselves in the sand. (Rotational movements of the hands)

Practical part.

We use white dough as the basis for the frame. Knead the dough with the back of your hand (never with your fingers) to the desired thickness. There is no need to make the base too thick.

Then we proceed to making a rose, with which we will decorate our frame. In order to make a rose, we pinch off 9 pieces of pink dough, the size of a cherry, then roll these pieces into balls.

The next step is to flatten the balls with your thumb. These will be the petals for the rose.

After you have made the petals, we proceed to making the flower, for this we roll the first petal into a roll, and then glue all the other petals in a spiral one after the other, not forgetting to use water. The petals should be at the same level.

This is the rose you should end up with.

We glue it with water to the upper right corner of the frame. Then, to complete the decoration of the frame, we make small balls, the size of a cherry pit. I needed 17 of them.

We glue these balls onto the frame with water in random order. I decided to do it this way, and you can use your own version of the decoration. After the balls are glued, we apply a design to them using a brush.

Our frame is ready. All that's left to do is, when it's dry, glue the cardboard on the back and insert a photo.

I II stage. Reflective.

An exhibition of works is held, the teacher conducts reflection.

Sample questions:

Did you enjoy today's lesson?

What caused you difficulties?

What was the mood in which you worked?

IV stage. Final.

Everything in the forest is noisy and singing -

Mother's Day is coming!

Everyone needs to talk about:

What will we give to mothers?

Monkey dads will say:

We'll buy moms bananas!

To cook all year round

Banana compote for us.

Hamster dads will say:

We'll buy hooks for moms!

From day to day until night

They knitted sweaters for us!

The daddy bears will say and say:

Let's buy and buy lids for mothers!

Let's buy jars, roots -

Let mothers make jam!

Well, the bunny is on the edge

Rushes into the distance, ears outstretched,

Hey, wait! Where are you going?

I'm in a hurry to buy flowers!

After all, why give hooks?

Eh, you bears, hamsters!

So that mothers can rest,

So that they flutter like little birds,

Let's, let's love mothers!

We will give them flowers!

So stop thinking too much!

Everyone follows me on my way!

It's time to get a gift!

Our mothers are waiting for us with flowers.

We’ll find where to get flowers!

We will go with them to their mothers,

Mother's Day is a big day...

We love mom with all our hearts!

The experience of conducting this lesson shows that children of primary school age with great passion and diligence make gift photo frames for their beloved mothers. In the process of decorating them, the children show their creative imagination, coming up with various decorative elements with which they want to decorate THEIR frame.

Also, during the lesson, students receive information about the history of the March 8 holiday at an accessible level.

This methodological development can be used by additional education teachers, as well as primary school teachers in technology lessons.

Dough modeling is a fun way to spend time with children. After all, they not only sculpt, but also cook: they can experiment with the flour mixture in the process of measuring and mixing ingredients, and then observe the metamorphoses that occur with the finished product when temperatures change during the drying process.

In addition, crafts made from salt dough are harmless to children, they do not contain allergens and can be safely tasted.

Figures made from homemade flour mixture are harder and preserve better than plasticine.

Basic play dough recipe

Before making modeling dough, you need to imagine what kind of products will be made, whether the dough needs to be painted, how long the modeling will take, and what drying mode will be chosen.

The basic recipe for craft dough consists of one part salt and two parts wheat flour to which 2 tsp citric acid is added. for 1 cup salt and 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil. The amount of water added during kneading should be equal to the amount of salt.

Dough preparation method

The dough is prepared in the following order:

  • Mix flour with salt and citric acid and pour this mixture into a saucepan;
  • Place the pan over moderate heat and gradually add water, stirring constantly, until the dough comes away from the pan and can be rolled into a ball.
  • Remove from heat and knead the dough with your hands.

Food coloring or gouache must be diluted in water, which is added before kneading the dough.

During operation, depending on the required consistency, the salt-flour mixture can be further diluted with water or oil, or flour can be added for hardness.

It is better to prepare the dough in small portions if possible, right before starting to model, and store it only in a tightly closed container or cling film.

Drying salt dough crafts

In order for handmade salt dough crafts to retain their shape and not break or crack, you need to choose the correct drying mode. You can simply leave the figures to dry naturally in the air, or you can place them in the oven.

There are two different methods for oven drying. The first is to preheat the oven, then turn it off and place the figures in the heated space. You can also bake the products at 100 degrees, making sure that there is no burning.

A master class on making dough crafts involves, first of all, experimenting with the material: the composition of the dough and its drying mode, so failures in this process are inevitable.

Helpful advice: When starting sculpting with children, you need to set them up so that the first success, after many not entirely aesthetic attempts, becomes a real miracle for them.

It is better to start with simple and uniform shapes, such as round beads of various colors and sizes. You can use them to make garlands to decorate your room.

Then you can master more complex silhouettes - stars, hearts, and three-dimensional figures - New Year's snowflakes, Christmas trees, Easter eggs with patterns, egg coasters, chickens.

You can time the production of figurines to coincide with the holidays, or choose more neutral motifs for all occasions, making souvenirs and gifts in the form of stylized horseshoes, suns, stars, airplanes and funny faces.

During modeling, you can use special molds for modeling and baking, and other things, according to the prompting of your imagination: garlic crush - for making thin ropes from dough, bottle caps - for cutting out circles, plastic toy parts - for making prints, almost everything Whatever you have on hand, from toothpicks to toy car wheels, can become a tool for modeling dough.

Note!

It is easy to make holes in the salt dough, both decorative and for hanging on threads. Holes on flat figures retain their shape when dry.

But when making more voluminous parts, such as spherical balls, in order to create a hole for the thread, you need to pierce the figure with a toothpick or other sharp instrument made of wood or plastic and do not remove it until the product dries.

Helpful tip: To glue the dough elements, just wet the individual sections and place them next to each other.

You can make garlands, keychains, medals and pendants from voluminous and flat figures. You can fashion chests and cups for storing jewelry, small treasures and pencils.

Volumetric figurines of animals

Three-dimensional figurines of animals are especially popular among children; they can be made in accordance with popular step-by-step instructions, which are intended for plasticine and clay crafts.

Note!

You can sculpt from dough without dyes, then paint the finished figurine and, after drying, coat it with varnish.

You can also cut out various figures: having made a model of them from cardboard, place it on a smooth dough previously rolled out with a rolling pin and carefully cut out along the edges. Then you can paint the figurine, add the necessary texture - roughness, strokes, make eyes, a nose or decorations from beads.

A wonderful homemade gift could be a photo frame or a unique candlestick.

Making panels that combine elements of mosaic, applique and modeling can captivate both children and adults. For the little ones, simple drawings are suitable: you first need to draw a silhouette on parchment, then carefully fill it with dough along the lines.

You can also conceive and implement more complex ideas using beads, mosaics of cereals, dried flowers, etc.

Note!

Photos of dough crafts

Greetings my beloved readers and blog guests!! Once upon a time in the distant past I worked as a teacher in a kindergarten, the work was very interesting, but poorly paid... But today we will not talk about that!! It’s just that anyone who has worked in this system knows that all the materials we use in creative work with children must be environmentally friendly or certified. Therefore, homemade tools come to the aid of purchased stationery. And the simplest means for development is salt dough.

Salt dough has been familiar since ancient times and is still popular in our time, because it is very easy to make, and it is a pleasure to sculpt from such a soft material. And what kind of crafts you get!! Just a sight for sore eyes!! I haven’t worked in the garden for a long time, but at home with my baby we often do modeling, and what was my surprise that not everyone knows how to prepare the dough and what can be obtained from it. That's why I decided to write an article on this topic.

And for variety, you and your kids can make New Year’s crafts from scrap materials and ideas.

First of all, we need to understand the manufacturing process of our safe material. In fact, there are not so many recipes, but I will introduce you to a method that has been proven over the years.

We will need:

  • Medium-sized salt - 1 tbsp;
  • Flour - 1 tbsp;
  • Water -125 ml;
  • Vegetable oil - 5 tablespoons.

Manufacturing process:

Take a deep container and mix salt and flour in it. Next, pour in a small amount of water and vegetable oil. Mix well and refrigerate for 2 hours. The play dough is ready. You can leave it this color, and after completing the work, paint it in the desired color. Or you can immediately add natural or synthetic dyes: choose gouache or vegetable juice (carrots, beets), you can also use cocoa.

On a note!! To sculpt thin figures, add glue to the dough. And remember that when drying our mass loses color, so add more dye.

Step-by-step instructions for making dough crafts for beginners

Now that you know how to prepare material for creativity, it’s time to begin the sculpting process itself. Let's start with the simplest. I will show you step by step how you can easily and quickly make a beautiful thing. We will sculpt a cute bear.

We will need:

  • Flour;
  • Salt;
  • Water;
  • Cup;
  • Acrylic paints or gouache;
  • Brush.

Manufacturing process:

1. First, knead the dough: mix half a glass of flour and half a glass of salt, add a little water and mix everything well. Next, wait 2 hours, during which time the dough sits in the refrigerator.

2. Now we start sculpting the figure: we make one medium-sized ball for the head, a larger one for the body and 7 smaller ovals for the paws, ears and nose. We connect everything together. Then we put the product in the oven and dry it for an hour. After drying, take out the craft and cool it.

Advice!! Cover the finished souvenir with varnish. This will make the craft brighter and more practical!!

Thus, the step-by-step instructions for sculpting products from salt dough are as follows:

  • knead the dough;
  • we sculpt the necessary elements and connect them together;
  • dry the work in the oven;
  • paint and wait for it to dry.

And remember that the main sculpting techniques are balls and sausages. 😉

How to make a souvenir from salt dough with your own hands

As you understand, this process is very exciting, and not only children, but also adults enjoy making crafts. Therefore, if you try and use your imagination, you can make an excellent gift or decoration element.

And for the coming New Year, I suggest you make a craft in the shape of a dachshund dog, it will be very symbolic.

We will need:

  • Salt dough is universal;
  • Cardboard, pencil, scissors;
  • Paints and brush;
  • A piece of rope;
  • Clear nail polish;
  • Toothpick;
  • Foam sponge;
  • Glue.

Manufacturing process:

1. Print out a drawing of a dachshund or draw it yourself. Transfer to cardboard and cut out the image along the outline.

2. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm and attach a pattern, cut out the outline of a dachshund along it. Remove the trimmings.

3. Now make two balls and form them into oblong dog eyes. Glue them on a drop of water to the head. To remove unevenness in the workpiece, wet all your fingers with water and smooth them along the contour.

5. To add volume, roll the dough into an oval, glue it onto the ear and smooth the joint with a wet finger.

6. Also add volume to the back and ponytail.

7. Use a toothpick to make dents around the perimeter of the figure.

8. Dry the workpiece in a warm oven. The dry product must be painted with black paint, where the dents are.

9. When the black paint has dried, take yellow paint on a foam sponge and paint the entire body, leaving the dents black.

10. Draw eyes on the dried dachshund and make any inscription.

11. Glue a string to the glue on the back side.

12. Cover the product with clear varnish and let it dry.

Here are some other cool gifts you can make from this budget material:

Knyazeva Irina Anatolyevna, teacher of Branch No. 1 of MBDOU No. 137 of Penza
The master class is designed for preschoolers aged 6–7 years and younger schoolchildren, their parents and teachers.
Purpose: for a gift, a souvenir for the holiday of March 8.
Target: making a souvenir with your own hands
Tasks: Develop the child’s imagination, imagination, fine motor skills, neatness, and aesthetic taste. Arouse interest in understanding nature and reflecting received ideas in artistic images. To interest and involve parents in joint leisure activities with children.

Proud appearance and strict figure -
This is a sunny tulip.
He settled in a flowerbed,
And in the spring it blossomed
For my mother's favorite holiday.
How the carpet is full of flowers
Flowerbed right under the window.
I'll bring the bouquet to the house.
Bright red tulips
My mother loves it very much.
Mom will laugh loudly
The bright sun will smile.
T. Lavrova

Materials: 4 colors of salt dough - green, white, yellow, red; PVA glue; brush; toothpick; large and small leaf mold; spatula (you can also use a stack); rolling pin; board for rolling out dough; a piece of thin wire; stationery knife, varnish.

Making molds: Cut out a plate from a plastic bottle, from which cut 2 strips: 0.5 cm by 6 cm (for a large leaf mold) and 0.5 cm by 2.5 cm (for a small one). We fasten the ends of the strips with tape.

To transfer details and highlight the veins on the leaves, we make a spatula: cut out a strip of 1.5 cm by 6.5 cm, then cut off one of the corners so that the short side is 0.7 cm.

Stages of work:

Dough recipe:

1 part flour, 1 part salt (the salt must be fine), PVA glue - 1-1.5 tablespoons, water, gouache (white, yellow, green, red). We dilute the gouache in water, only then add flour. Mix each color separately. Knead the stiff dough
1. Cut out the figure eight template. The height of my figure eight is 8 cm.

Roll out the yellow dough, 0.7-1 cm thick. Cut a figure eight out of it with a stationery knife.

Use water to smooth out any rough edges.

Make two holes for attaching flower stems to the base.

Let's make a figure eight decoration. Using a small white dough sheet cutter, cut out 4 pieces of the figure eight decoration, as shown in the photo.

Apply glue to the side of the figure eight and glue the cut out decorations.

At the same time, lightly roll the top of the decoration with a toothpick to better bond the surfaces.

Leave until the base is completely dry.
2. Making tulips. Cut the wire into pieces 8 cm long. Bend one of the ends as shown in the photo.

Take a piece of red dough, no more than a centimeter in diameter. And first we roll it into a drop, and then put the drop on the wire (these will be the inner leaves of the flower).

Next, roll three balls of red dough. Lightly roll the balls into an ovoid, this is the petal of our tulip. Place the ovoid in the middle of the palm and flatten it with your index finger. The veins on the petal are obtained from the lines on the palm.

You need to make 3 such petals for one flower. First glue one petal,

Then the rest one by one.

This is how the flower came from.

We make 4 more tulips in the same way. Bend the tip of the wire and hang it to dry (I hung it on a flower pot).

Flowers are dried until completely dry.
3. We collect tulips in a bouquet using floral tape

Cut a piece of wire 6 cm long, then bend the wire into a loop and insert it into the figure eight hole. Attach the bouquet to the figure eight.

Twist the wire on the back side of the base and trim off the excess.

Glue the stems in several places using Master glue to the base.
4. Roll out the green dough thinly (2 mm) and cut out 2 leaves with a large leaf mold.

Use a spatula to make veins in the leaves. First, secure one leaf on the stem using PVA glue.

Then the second one.

7. Dry the work thoroughly and varnish it.

(If you glue a magnetic strip on the back, you’ll get a refrigerator magnet.)

Ah, those first tulips!
How I love their delicate color!
Hazy pink, deceptive,
Like an early, ghostly dawn...
I love to inhale the elusive
Innocent fresh scent
And the mother of pearl of vulnerable flowers,
Rich in pure coolness...
Nature's sincere gift,
Messengers of the awakened spring,
Their first breath is radiant and bright,
Lovely, young and slender...
They were loved by elves in fairy tales,
Swinging in the corollas of flowers...
And painters in wondrous colors,
They painted watercolors of the winds...
Tulip images,
They were woven for show,
On expensive and slightly cutesy ones,
Brabant lush lace...
