About everything. Daria Malygina: biography, hobbies, personal life of Evgeny Malygina - mother of Daria Malygina

I bought vintage rings in Barcelona and Bali for fifteen to twenty-five euros.

I also found a Ralph Lauren suit in Spanish second-hand - it cost sixty euros. Barcelona is, of course, the coolest city with insanely beautiful vintage clothing for ridiculous money.

Ankle boots are wildly uncomfortable - I only wore them a couple of times and knew that it would be difficult for me to walk in them, but my addiction to the leopard gave me strength.

Arngoldt jacket and shorts, designer gift

In this suit, everything is perfect to the smallest detail. The fabric is amazing. M I do not like the combination of innocence and depravity, although the former, of course, outweighs.

Maison Martin Margiela Dress, Arngoldt Bracelet

I bought the dress in Hong Kong. It is so soft and cool that you don't want to crawl out of it.

The bracelet was presented by my friend, Sasha Lavrova. Only after taking off this "Wardrobe", I realized how much they gave me.

Dress by Katya Dobryakova, a gift from the designer; Pure Joy Fashion ankle boots

From filming Katya's lookbooks, I always leave in her clothes.

I asked the designers for ankle boots from the Pure Joy Fashion show. After that, all the models saw that they had been presented to me, and ran to grab their piece. So I guess Pure Joy Fashion didn't have a single pair of shoes left from that season.

Dress, vintage

The dress was also bought in a vintage shop in Barcelona for fifty euros. It has an unreal print, collar and buttons. This is the Japanese brand Preseme. I AM Ponts generally know a lot about clothes. When I finally get to Tokyo, I will definitely be back with three suitcases.

Dress I am, a gift from a designer

Designer I am Dasha has already given me so many things. This is such a light, albeit a bit kinky dress.

Pirosmani Dress

I am extremely lucky: my mother is a designer. At school I did not have to buy clothes at all, I came there the most stylish - sometimes in black coat with cool buttons, hat and rocker boots, then in shiny jackets and leopard pants. M Therefore, the director constantly called me and asked him to buy me a normal uniform. Well, now I'm her wild fan! She's just some incredible woman. My mom is my friend and the coolest example of what a woman should be.

Jacket from the store "LUUK", skirt Katya Dobryakova, H&M shoes

In the St. Petersburg store "LUUK" I always find something cool. This jacket is a few years old and looks like new. Has already visited with me in all countries of the world.

Since Zara brought an endless number of floor-length skirts to Russia, everyone was suddenly obsessed with them, and I quietly put mine in the closet: the desire to wear them was gone. But this skirt by Katya Dobryakova with a cool print is still my favorite.

H&M shoes cost one thousand two hundred rubles. One of the most comfortable couples in my life.

Hat, gift; Urban Outfitters T-shirt, Zara Jacket, Pirosmani Sweatpants, Marc Jacobs Ring

My favorite make-up artist from St. Petersburg Lena Krygina gave me the hat to vilify, and I kept forgetting to bring it back from Moscow. So my birthday came, and she gave it to me.

Urban Outfitters is one of my favorite stores. On my last trip to Hamburg, I bought this T-shirt and many other cool things there.

I hoped that this ring would be an engagement ring, but it turned out to be a simple gift on Valentine's Day. I still suffer from grief, which again can be seen in these photographs.

The Zara suede jacket is very lightweight and comfortable. Biker jackets are somehow tired, but I really like this one.

Mom did not have time to finish these sweatpants and the dress that was higher, so no one saw them at the show. Before leaving for Moscow, I intercepted them.

Blouse and skirt I am, designer gift

Total bow - sweety school girl.

Dress, vintage

There is one hairdressing salon in Barcelona, I once ran past it and saw that there were also clothes for sale. Since I lived there for a month, I constantly went inside and bought blouses, jackets, shirts and dresses. It cost twenty euros. It has lovely buttons on it. I am always attracted by details - buttons, lining, collars.

Bomber Miu Miu

The bomber was presented to me by my friend Sasha Lavrova. She found him somewhere in Hong Kong. I'm generally scared to put it on somewhere - it seems that after each trip somewhere it will gradually disintegrate.

Jacket, vintage

The jacket was bought in the same retroshop and part-time hairdressing salon in Barcelona. It is very nice to the touch and has cool buttons - I think some hot Spanish adult wore it before me.

Coat Leonid Alexeev

For this coat I played my longest DJ set in my life at the opening of a store in St. Petersburg. In general, it was only in the male version, but Leonid sewed a female one especially for me. I went in it all winter in Moscow and did not freeze at all. My friend Lena Krygina prays to him and asks to vilify him, but I think it would not have returned to me, as well as her hat to her.

Dress, vintage

The part of the wardrobe shown by me is almost all bought in Barcelona. I decided to show the most feminine, delicate and beautiful dresses - I did not have time to transport everything else from St. Petersburg to Moscow. When I leave somewhere in Europe or America, I almost always take an empty suitcase and some of my favorite things with me - and I return with an overload.

Marc Jacobs perfume ring

I bought a dry perfume in the form of a ring in Milan last summer. It helps out when I am sitting somewhere in the Sapsan, someone smells of onion sweat, and I sit and smell the ring.

Steve Madden Boots

Steve Madden boots were presented to me by the idol of youth and the noble sadist Anton Sevidov when we went with him to New York last fall.

Glasses (top to bottom): H&M, vintage, H&M, Topshop, vintage

I love weird and even wacky glasses. I even began to get some pleasure from their absurdity and unfashionable appearance - they even out the balance if everything that is dressed looks too correct or calm. That being said, classic pairs of glasses are also an integral part of my wardrobe.

Zara boots, a gift from Anton Sevidov

Since Balkan blood flows through the veins of Anton Sevidov, he shares my passion not only for the leopard, but also for everything gold - which was expressed in this purchase, made somewhere in Soho, New York.

Badges: vintage, "Medeo", gift from Misha Gannushkin

Perfume (from left to right): Chanel Chance, Moschino Funny, Marc Jacobs Oh Lola!

Smells and music - only these things bring you back to some memories, people, important events in your life. Sometimes you meet somewhere in the subway on the other side of the world someone who smells of the same perfume as, for example, your loved one, and immediately remember how you lay somewhere in New York with him in bed in an embrace, and at that moment some favorite song was playing.

Moschino is probably the first perfume that I fell in love with madly, I still cannot live without them, but the brightest memories connect me with them and my coolest and wildest romance in my life. The Chanel Сhance scent is associated with some touching moments, first kisses. Oh Lola! I fell in love not so long ago, but it is very sweet. The rest stayed in Petersburg - there is another one, the scent of my love, but it is not with me now.

American Apparel Boots

I thought for a long time between silver and the same blue, but after interviewing all the shop assistants, I realized that these are cooler. True, so far I can’t carry them all: perhaps because in Barcelona I only took the metro once and walked fifteen to twenty kilometers a day. They even rubbed my flip-flops back then.

Chaika watch, gift

The watch was presented by her friend Julia. It's a pity they don't go anymore. At one time I did not take them off at all, they are very dear to me.

A favorite of Russian designers, a DJ, one of the brightest and most fashionable girls in the capital, model Daria Malygina told ELLE why she loves Moscow and New York and why she doesn't want to appear in Russian films.

ELLE Daria, once you said: “There are two Malygins living in me: one wants to be a lady and wear refined and elegant dresses, and the other pulls to second-hand shops for shapeless elongated sweaters”. How do they manage to get along together?

DARIA MALYGINA It's very simple: it all depends on my mood, on what awaits me during the day, what I will do, what event is planned. Of course, for some events I dress more elegantly, go somewhere in casual clothes, although sometimes it happens that at pretentious parties I want to rebel. But everything, again, depends on the mood.

ELLE You have participated in many shows of famous brands: you have Prada, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Ashley Isham, Miu Miu and many other brands behind you and on your shoulders. Can you remember the brightest events?

D.M. Of course, there were shows that were remembered, but they were remembered thanks to the people who participated in them: a lot depends on their attitude to work, and often commercial shows are not particularly interesting to me because of the attitude of people. But the project with Victoria "s Secret was very memorable. There was a great team: we filmed, I put on my music, and our tastes coincided.

ELLE Continuing the theme: you are a very versatile person - both a model and a DJ. Have you ever thought of acting in a movie?

D.M. I thought about it, but I want to film not in Russia, but abroad. Now I am just planning to move to New York, maybe I will be able to try there.

ELLE What is the reason for the reluctance to act in films in Russia? We do not have talented directors or ideas, or the quality of shooting leaves much to be desired?

D.M. Most likely all together. In Russia, in terms of the picture, the plot, and so on, films are very inferior to foreign ones: there are more interesting films abroad. Often new films are shot on the basis of already known ones, on the old background, and the result is high quality. And here they either don't want to, or they can't, because I don't see the point in filming here.

ELLE Emir Kusturica, a renowned filmmaker and musician, travels a lot. Once I asked him: "Where is your home?" He replied: "My home is a summer jacket in winter and a winter coat in summer." You travel a lot too. Where is your home?

D.M. Yes, I travel a lot, and due to this I feel at home even in hotels. Since childhood, I have often moved with my parents, when I grew up and started working, I began to visit myself often abroad. In my case, the house does not have any images or incarnations behind it: the house for me is where I sleep.

If we talk about the cities that I like, then these are Moscow and New York. There have been so many cool stories and adventures in New York that are truly inspiring and I plan to move there in the fall. New York is a city where music was born, a rich culture: Studio 54 and much more. For me it is a city of musical stories with its own atmosphere on the streets. And Moscow, whatever one may say, is connected with parents, friends, husband. Every time I come back here and meet friends. The Russian mentality attracts and attracts me most of all, I love Moscow.

ELLE When you find yourself in Moscow, how do you spend your time, what do you do?

D.M. I don't have much time, but I can often be seen playing my music in different cool places. Even weekends are sometimes busy with work moments, and the rest of the time I try to travel, play sports.

ELLE Do you often go to the movies? Can you remember your favorite movies that you love to watch?

D.M. I have a favorite movie - "True Romance" by Tony Scott. It is about love, but for the male population of the planet. Here, the music, the actors, and the plot are very cool, I advise you to watch. I also really liked Lucy's film by Luc Besson. I watched it quite late, and it inspired me, expanded the boundaries, showed how limited the scope of what we think is possible. I think there is more to be done than we are used to doing. You don't need to be guided by someone, you should try to do more.

ELLE When you watch films, do you think about copying the style of movie characters?

D.M. I thought about it, but not at the level of clothing or images, but at the level of acting, so I am thinking of applying to acting in order to develop my capabilities: the skills of parody, humor, even emotions conveyed by the face.

ELLE Once I asked Goran Bregovich what is an indicator of recognition for him as a musician, and he replied: "When my songs are sung at weddings." And what is for you an indicator of recognition as a model, as a DJ, as a person?

D.M. People often come up to me (and you know, I always tried to be sincere, share my stories), and I realized that I often direct and inspire people. Here we are not talking about advice - I think that it is not worth giving advice, teaching someone. It is about the attitude to life, to how it should be. By my example, I show that if you work hard, do not give up and strive to do more, you can achieve a lot. I want people not to mess around, believe in themselves and strive for more.

Daria Malygina is a model, our compatriot, who has achieved quite a lot of fame not only within our country and neighboring countries, but also in the most fashionable parts of the planet, because she took part in many fashion shows and collaborated with famous fashion houses. But for this Daria had to go through a difficult path, which will be discussed in this article.

Biography

Daria Malygina was born in an era of change, in 1990, which, in principle, was reflected in her biography.

Daria's mother is a famous fashion designer and creator of her own brand Pirosmani, so the girl was immersed in a fashion environment from childhood, and it was her mother who instilled in her the perfect taste, and later noticed Dasha's desire for a modeling career and did everything to make her daughter's dream come true.

Professional activity

Daria studied at one of the St. Petersburg schools in the 9th grade, when the well-known modeling agency LMA invited her to conclude a contract. The girl agreed without thinking. And although this incident gave her a pass to a brilliant life, the girl had some problems: because of this, after all, she had to simultaneously continue her studies and work. The teachers did not like the constant traveling, they began to underestimate Daria's grades and oppress her in every possible way. After suffering for about six months, Daria Malygina decided to go to home schooling, and her affairs, finally, went uphill.

A year later, a girl from Russia took part in shows of cult fashion houses such as Prada, Miu Miu, Moschino, Marni, and her face was adorned with popular fashion magazines around the world.

But cooperation with Prada was short-lived: Daria was let down by chance. During fashion week in Paris, the girl was supposed to participate in the show of the diffuse brand Prada - Miu Miu, but was stuck in the elevator, where she spent more than 3 hours. After this incident, the fashion house did not want to have any relationship with her.

There were many similar situations in her life, but nevertheless, many designers continue to love her for her dark burning hair and expressive eyes. And Daria Malygina herself claims that all this is not the main thing for her, and she even remembers the shows not because of pomp and pomp, but thanks to the people who create them and participate in them. She speaks very warmly about all the Victoria's Secret shows, in which she has repeatedly participated.

Music has tied us

The girl does not limit herself to a modeling career. She is a musician at heart, but since she began to develop her inclinations only at the age of 19, she had to get up at the DJ console. At first she was just interested, but now Dasha cannot imagine life without it. And from this we can conclude that she is a very creative person, it is not for nothing that the girl found herself in professions, thanks to which she can create, be inspired and travel around the world, which she dreamed of since childhood.

Personal life

Thanks to her hobby, Malygina met her lover, he turned out to be the lead singer of the Tesla Boy group Sevidov. Their relationship was rather strange: the couple was constantly diverging, then reunited. Their photos were dazzled in all fashion magazines, and their relationship was called "volcano". But soon this "volcano" was destined to die out forever.

Soon Daria Malygina, whose height ideally matches the model parameters (176 cm, 50 kg, parameters: 84-59-86 cm), announced her engagement to one Russian journalist. The young people played a wedding and moved to the fashionable capital - New York. But then a discord began in the couple, because each of them created himself and did not think about a partner. Soon, the once-happy couple broke up.

Interests

Daria Malygina (model) is thinking about acting in a movie. And she received similar offers from Russian directors, to which she always refused, because she considers the level of Russian cinema insufficient to create good films and, therefore, sees no reason to take part in films that will not bring her anything, not even pleasure.

Also, Daria Malygina, whose photo can be seen below, loves to play sports, she often visits the gym, especially when she comes to Moscow. In New York, she doesn't have enough time for this.

Daria is an example of a girl who is able to conquer the whole world if she wants to. Therefore, the model tries to prove it to everyone through experience, sometimes making big sacrifices. But after all, the whole fashionable world is supported by such zeal, into which many girls are so eager to get in order to declare themselves, to become popular, as the heroine of the article Daria Malygina did.

Two years ago, the model and DJ was the headliner of our project about enviable St. Petersburg brides together with her friend and colleague Alisa Shavrova. A few months later, Dasha's wedding became one of the events of the year in the Moscow-Petersburg get-together of young, beautiful and creative people. But now Malygina is free again, and we could not help but draw the attention of understanding male readers to this. The idol of millions told us everything. All about myself today.

As a person with good looks, what do you think of your beauty now?

I often wondered how I would look at thirty and forty, and it seems to me that growing up and growing old is interesting: beautiful wrinkles appear on my face, my eyes become wiser and stronger. I always smile and laugh a lot, so you can probably see from my wrinkles that I am a very happy person.

How did you feel about your appearance as a teenager?

My parents always told me that I am the most beautiful and wonderful. Therefore, from childhood I believed that I was cool. When I was two, I fell off the swing, and my cheek was stitched up, since then I have a very noticeable scar. At the age of thirteen, my mother took me to the clinic to have it removed, but even then I realized that I adore all the scars on my body. I was only ashamed of my right ear, now I absolutely do not understand why. I was always a kid and a hooligan, but when I looked at my mother, I wanted to grow up as soon as possible and help her in what she does.

You started an independent life early, didn't you?

Since I grew up in great love from my parents, I learned to love myself quite early. Love always overwhelms me, and I often confess my feelings even to my friends. At the age of thirteen, I had my first serious relationship, quite a long one, then I even left home. In addition, watching how much my mother works and does for me, I generated a huge amount of energy: I studied to be an artist and studied music, I wanted to know everything, study everything, try to do everything myself, provide for myself and someone else. I never really appreciated money, but I loved spending it on everyone I love. It's very cool to leave your parents at a very young age: firstly, you already live your life, and not theirs, and secondly, circumstances arise in which you just need to grow up quickly.

What is in you from mom, what is from dad?

From my dad, Valery Agafonov, I got the appearance. He always cooked very cool and added cilantro everywhere, so I really love it. When I was a child, he constantly played Heroes of Might and Magic, and I still have this game installed on my computer. And my mother, Evgenia Malygina, designer and creator of the Pirosmani brand, showed me an example of a strong, independent woman, but at the same time fragile and feminine. We have an ideal mother-daughter relationship. I think I will have no problems with my own children and we will be very close with them too.

Has your parenting experience influenced your perception of the relationship?

They separated when I was two years old, but remained closest friends, even lived in the same apartment, and then on different floors, but in the same entrance. They were both very young, they were twenty years old when I was born.

They say that girls all their lives are looking for a relationship for men who are somewhat similar to their fathers. What do you react to the most, what is important to you?

On the contrary, I am inspired by people who have something that I do not have. I learned to love people for who they are. We must not interfere with each other, inspire each other. Develop together and separately. If a person cannot give me any development and inspiration, I leave.

You are changing all the time - and you are not afraid to do it, unlike many others. Is this a family attitude or did you learn it yourself?

It seems to me that we are all very lazy, but we could have achieved much more. When I watched Luc Besson's sci-fi action movie Lucy with Scarlett Johansson, which said that a person uses only ten percent of the capabilities of his brain, I seemed to burst out. You need to do what is really interesting, not for the sake of money. The main thing is to start. I just do not understand how you can sit on the neck of your parents or your man and do nothing. Moreover, it is much easier for women to achieve anything. An example, of course, was my mother, who was always engaged in creativity. I have a lot of ideas in my head, and soon I will realize another one of my dreams.

What have you learned about yourself over the past year?

That I missed out on many cool opportunities because of my attachment to Moscow. That is why now I refuse almost all work in Russia and agree to projects in Europe and America. Today I do everything that I love. Both of my jobs - modeling and DJing - bring me great pleasure. I share music with people and see how I inspire them.

What is the biggest challenge in your life right now?

I decided to move to New York. But I did it fifty-fifty. I ride back and forth, because work and sets don't let go either there or there. And it's more comfortable to live in Moscow. However, I set myself the goal of making a huge success in America this year! I always make a plan for myself for the year what I want to achieve.

Did you have a failure that taught you a lot and changed your life for the better as a result?

When I was nineteen, I slept on a plane to New York and changed my modeling agency from Supreme to Next. The first was terrible, but with Next I did Victoria's Secret and Victoria's Secret Pink.

What can you say about love today?

For me, love is faith. And as long as I believe in it, it will be.

How did you get into the modeling business?

Since childhood, I have been in this atmosphere. At first I worked at Pirosmani shows, my mother is Zhenya Malygina, one of the creators of this design duo, then Sergey Lukovsky took me to his agency LMA. And I was sent to the Prada casting by Grace Models, the agency that opened Evgeny Volodin and Natalia Vodianova. They photographed me literally on the street and sent the card to Milan. As a result, me and four other girls were taken on an exclusive.

What is exclusive?

I am not allowed to work on other shows at Milan Week, but it pays much better. Exclusive models are the faces of the House. I represent Prada and Miu Miu (these fashion houses have one owner, Miuccia Prada). With Miu Miu in the fall, a funny story turned out: according to French law, if you are not sixteen years old, you cannot work on weekends, and the show came just on the weekend, and I took a ride to Paris just like that, but I will definitely work for them next season ...

Was it scary to go?

Very. I didn't want to go alone at all - fortunately, I was in Milan
another model from St. Petersburg, she supported me. And my mother spent two weeks with me in New York, and it helped me a lot, we became so close during this time. I was going to stay there for a week, but they left me for a month. Fifteen castings a day, constant shooting for seven hours, I got up at eight in the morning, came home at nine in the evening and literally fell into bed. It's easier here - for example, at the Defile you come to the casting, all the designers sit in front of you and choose the models. And in the States, you need to pass the casting for each separately, moreover, they are often located in different parts of the city.

Are you going to be a model seriously and for a long time?

I only do this because they've done so much for me
people close to me who believe in me. If it were not for the moral obligations to them, I would have given up everything long ago. I'm not interested in big money: if you have it, it’s good, no, I’ll do it. I am not interested in this business: many models, especially well-known ones, are stupid creatures, they think that they have the coolest profession, the world is at their feet and they are the best in the world. This illusion is so annoying! Besides, it’s hard for me to be far from my boyfriend. I was depressed in New York - there is such melancholy! I bought a good camera, so that at least something would inspire me, and went to take pictures. I like to shoot unusual things and paradoxes of the city.

How did you become interested in photography?

As a child, I was left to myself - my mother was too busy with creativity. So I skipped school and was a real bastard. And then everything suddenly became interesting to me. I asked my mother to enroll me in art and music schools, and started taking photographs. It helps me now - I write songs, play the guitar.

Many girls dream of a career as a model ...

They just forget that it's also hard work. Recently in New York there was such a photo session: I was filmed in the cold in light clothes. I chattered my teeth, in between I was wrapped in everything that was at hand, and after shooting the photographer asked me: "You probably hate me now?" I honestly admitted that it was. I had no idea that it was so difficult to be away from home and work so intensely. They tried to leave me there for another week - on the Calvin Klein show and shooting for V Magazine, but I quarreled with
manager and said that I would never go anywhere else,
if I stay still. I lived with the thought that I would soon be home.

Is it true that there can be no friendship between models?

In St. Petersburg, everyone is friendly, there is especially nothing to share here. LMA is generally a big family, it's nice to just go there, chat, have tea. As for close friendships, I have few friends, I have a very hard time getting close to people because of isolation, and only one model friend. The rest are not from this sphere at all. I treat people with distrust, there are fewer and fewer normal people.

How did the school react to your success?

Nobody knows. Apart from my best friend, I haven't told anyone. Then by chance someone found out, and they teased me. It's better when no one knows.

Is there a big difference between working in Russia and in the West?

Huge. On Western filming, the attitude is very caring: they will smear with cream if your hands are cold, and before and after makeup they will always protect and moisturize your face. At the Prada show in Milan, before screwing the turban over the head, they pulled their hair seven times - and each time with protective equipment, they made sure that they did not sting anywhere. And here - he washed everything off with soap and water and is free, and the schedule is always very tough. The fashion shows are also very different. Sergei Lukovsky always has an idea, from the show he makes a real show. I really like it - you become practically an actress. There are no rehearsals in Milan - you just go and that's it. This is a car: thirty minutes of casting, fifteen minutes of showing - and so on all day.

Have you seen someone in the front row whom you have long dreamed of seeing?

Actually, I really like to look at people, but at the show I learned from more experienced models - and they all go nowhere with a completely transparent look. So I had to not pay attention to anything around.

If you were offered to stay in New York, Milan or Paris for good, would you agree?

No. I love Petersburg and I cannot live without it. Now you need to go to London for Marc by Marc Jacobs, this is an important show: if you get to it, the road to all the rest is automatically opened. Then Paris. And I just want to be close to my loved one, parents and friends.
