It's +5 outside, it's raining all day, the swing is wet, the wind is cold, there are puddles and soaked mud under your feet - just excellent conditions for testing new clothes for strength.
After an hour and a half walk (your I couldn’t stand it any longer, since I don’t have such a jumpsuit) daughter came home dry and warm.
This is despite the fact that my child loves not only to stand in a puddle, but also to lie down, and explain that today you cannot sit on a swing, because it is raining, I did not even try - it's easier to just stay at home.
Most mothers stay at home in this weather. I also sat out before, but the childish energy, which did not find a decent outlet for running and climbing, fell on our poor apartment and then we had to clean up for hours. And I'm a lazy person.
Separate hesitation in me was caused by the question: buy Reimu-Tek or waterproof (read about it).
b). For the weather from -5 to -30.
After purchasing Reima-Tek, I hesitated for a long time - whether to buy a bunch of thermal underwear for Reima in the cold (the pleasure is very expensive, on average it costs about three thousand rubles) or just buy another jumpsuit for severe frost.
Everything was decided by chance - I saw one jumpsuit from "Kerry" with insulation 330 grams(this means that he is very warm) and fell in love with him. I measured it on my daughter and was fascinated by how my baby looks in it. I was not even embarrassed by the fact that the jumpsuit is separate (although initially I was only tuned in to the one-piece version).
And generally speaking one-piece or split overalls buy is.
I even thought if I could return Reimu-Tek back to the store, if I could manage with just Kerry both for the winter and early autumn. But it was enough to go outside with the child once at +5. I had to return home immediately, because the daughter was sweating terribly. In the end, I dismissed the idea and left two overalls.
And then I realized that I no longer need to buy anything.
In early autumn, before buying these overalls, we returned from a walk and immediately put all our clothes in the wash - trousers, a jacket, tights ... Two walks a day, a pile of clothes. While it is washing, while it dries ...
And now I take the child out of the liquid mud, put it on its feet and do not even scold - because at home it is enough to wipe the overalls outside with a cloth or rinse them with a shower - and it is like new again.
If I stopped only at the cooler Reime-Tek, then I would still need to buy a lot of warm clothes (jackets, leggings, thermal underwear) to be sure that the child does not freeze on a long walk at -25.
But now it has become unnecessary.
We have a couple of dresses to “go out”, there are some jeans and a few blouses - this is more than enough, because the children do not get soiled indoors as much as on the street.
If you want to save a lot, then you can buy these overalls (or similar companies) in joint purchases. The savings are significant - 40 percent for sure.
But the disadvantage of the joint venture is that if you missed the size (large, and especially if small), then it is almost impossible to return them (or really, but expensive). You can only sell (attach).
I myself would have bought overalls through the joint venture (I would have taken the size strongly for growth), but alas ...
In September it turned out that purchases had already been closed, since all were stocked back in the spring.
