Work description: this material can be useful in the work of educators, as in the immediate educational activities, and to decorate the subject-developing environment in a group or on a walking area, as well as in play activities children; will be useful for parents for the child's leisure activities.

Materials:
- large or small capsule from under the kinder - surprise;
- multi-colored leatherette scraps,
- multi-colored tape,
- sponge for washing dishes,
- a pair of ready-made eyes,
- super - glue and Christmas tinsel.
Options for the material used: instead of a capsule from a kinder - surprise, you can use a capsule from under a chupa - chups, or another junk object of an oval, cylindrical shape. I had a camera from a broken water pistol. Manufacturing is similar. Instead of scotch tape, you can use multi-colored electrical tape or the same leatherette. The eyes are sold in the store, but you can make yourself from the materials mentioned above. You can also skip using a sponge if you make the legs of the rooster from leatherette. To decorate the cockerel, you can take feathers, multi-colored paper, self-adhesive paper. I took materials that would not get wet, as I was making crafts to decorate the site.
Instruments: scissors, pencil or pen for tracing patterns. I cut out the parts without using templates, so I didn't use a pencil.

Progress:
1. Prepare everything necessary materials and tools.
2. We take our camera (in my case) or a capsule from under a kinder surprise. I will call it the basis.
3. Prepare plastic eyes and glue.
4. Carefully glue the eyes to the top of our base.
5. Cut out the beak in the shape of a rhombus from the red leatherette (or circle it and cut it out according to the template).
6. We glue our beak in the middle just below the peephole.
7. Prepare the scallop tinsel. Fold several times to form a scallop.
Since I had a hole in the base, I inserted the comb into the hole, having previously spread it with glue. In the case of the other base, the comb is simply glued at the very top. You can glue the cockerel's eyebrows in the form of triangles from colored tape for decoration.
8. Next, cut out the wings from the leatherette. I took Brown color, but you can choose any other. I cut it out without a template, in the form of a sheet, folding a 9 * 12 leatherette rectangle in half. It started with a wide curvature, narrowing towards the end.
9. We glue the wings to the base from the sides. The situation can be different. The wings can be lowered, forward or backward. It all depends on your idea and imagination!
10. Decorate the wings with tape or other materials. To do this, you can cut out smaller "leaves" different colors... The scotch tape does not cut very neatly, so I recommend using self-adhesive colored paper.
11. According to the template, cut out the beard of the cockerel from leatherette and decorate. Glue to the base below the beak.
12. Next, we put our rooster on its legs. To do this, cut out the legs in the form of two triangles from a dishwashing sponge. The size should be in proportion to your base. Or use a template. Bases from under the kinder stand well on leatherette legs. We glue it at the very bottom of the base.

Crafts in the form of roosters, made by hand, will be relevant not only during the holidays in New 2017, but every year at Easter. Master class 1. A candy bowl in the form of a rooster
Looking at this graceful candy bowl, it is difficult to imagine that it can be made with your own hands, and even from ... cardboard boxes for eggs. In fact, making such a handsome man does not take much time or the skills of a sculptor. By the way, even a child can do most of the work, so this is a great idea for a New Year's craft for school or kindergarten.
You can decorate with such a candy bowl festive table and surprise your guests. However, it can be filled not only with sweets, but also with tangerines, small presents for contests, notes with predictions. You can also put the cockerel under the tree along with the gift.
Materials:
- 7 packs for a dozen eggs;
- Scissors;
- Acrylic paints and brushes;
- Hot glue gun;
- PVA glue (at least 250 g);
- Balloon;
- Old newspapers;
- White paper.
Instructions:
Step 1. Cut out the cones located in the middle of the tray, then cut their sides into feather petals. Each cone should have 4 feathers.
Step 2. Now we need to make blanks for the head and throat of a rooster according to the principle of building up feathers to cones: the head will consist of 5 feathers, the second cone (throat) - from 6 feathers, the third cone - from 8, the fourth - from 10, the fifth - from 12 feathers. Finally, make a sixth piece, but this time in the form of a fan of 8 feathers, and not in the form of a cone, since this part will cover the beginning of the back. To build up feathers, use tape, gluing it on the inside of the blanks.
Step 3. Set aside the cones for now and cut out the beak, comb and beard of the rooster. You just need to draw and cut the scallop. To make a beard, you need to cut a blank from two sides of adjacent cells of the tray (see photo).
The next two photos show the principle of making the beak of our craft. Please note that the beak consists of two cones, because our rooster must crow!
Step 4. Now we begin to form the shape of the rooster, namely the head and throat. Glue all the cones, starting with the smallest and ending with the largest with a hot glue gun. Glue the beak, barb, and scallop as well.
Step 5. Draw and cut out two blanks in the form of wings 15 cm long, then use a glue gun to cover them with feathers ... from the same cones.
Step 6. Cut out feathers for the tail of a rooster from the covers from the trays (4 feathers should come out of one cover).
Step 7. Let's move on to making a papier-mâché belly bowl for sweets:
- Inflate a balloon and cut strips of white office paper and strips of old newspaper.
- Cover the entire ball tightly with strips dipped in PVA glue (the glue can be slightly diluted with water). The first and last layers must be white. There should be at least 4 layers of paper in total.
- The next day, when the paper is completely dry, burst the ball and cut the resulting "testicle" into two unequal parts (one half should be slightly larger). Then put the small part into the large one and glue it to make the bowl strong.
Step 8. Attach the head of the rooster to the belly using a cardboard backing (from the inside). Hot glue the wings and tail to the body of the rooster. Our rooster craft already looks surprisingly believable!
Step 9. It's time to color the candy bowl. You can choose shades of paint to your taste, because roosters are different and it is not at all necessary to achieve complete realism. Perhaps your rooster will be completely beautiful in full gold plumage? In the same project, shiny paints were used for the legs, beak, comb and beard, and for painting feathers - mother-of-pearl.
Please note that the color transitions on the cock are smooth - from pearl white to gold and then to green.
Step 10. In order to provide more stability for your candy bowl, glue some kind of square support to the bowl and, of course, two legs made of 3 petal cones. Finally, paint the paws, fill a bowl with candy, and place your handsome guy where he can see it. Now he is ready to cheer up all the guests at the New Year's or Easter table!

- Colorless matt wood primer (preferred).

- Fine sandpaper.
- Pencil.
- Paper.
- Stationery or breadboard knife and scissors.
- The wood wax is transparent or dark (optional).
Instructions:
Step 1. Estimate how many boards you need to put together a panel of the desired size.
Step 2. Measure and cut the boards to the same length. Also prepare two smaller boards - they will act as crossbars and connect all the other boards.
Step 3. Fold the main boards face side down, align them, then place two smaller boards across as shown in the photo below. Now nail each plank to the crossbars.
Step 4. Clean the surface from dust, then apply a primer on the panel in 1-2 layers, letting each layer dry. This step is not necessary, as we need a rough and "antique" look of wood and paint, but we still need a primer if you want to extend the life of your painting and make it easier to care for it.
Step 5. Now we need to paint the boards, that is, create a background for our rooster. To create a faded paint effect, a white and blue water stain was used in this project, which was applied unevenly. There is another way to paint semi-antique: paint the boards with acrylic paint in 1 layer, wait for the paint to dry, then wipe the surface with sandpaper in some places or over the entire area.
Step 6. It's time to start making a stencil. If you are making a small panel of approximately A4 size or less, then you can simply print the picture below, having previously adjusted its dimensions in any photo editor. Then you just have to laminate the paper with transparent tape and cut out the silhouette of a rooster using a clerical or mock knife. Voila, the stencil is ready!
If you want to make a panel bigger size, for example, A3 format, then the picture will have to be printed in two parts (or more). To do this, upload the silhouette of a rooster to rasterbator.net, print the resulting PDF, cut out the details, then assemble them like a mosaic. Next, you can laminate the stencil with tape or transfer the outline of the stencil from office paper to thicker or laminated paper (see photo).
As you can see, on this stencil, besides the silhouette of a bird, the French word "Le Coq" (trans. "Rooster") is carved. You can repeat this idea or come up with your own signature, for example, "Bon appétit!"
Step 7. Fix the stencil on your panel with masking tape and start painting over the silhouette with white paint. When the paint is dry, work on some areas of the design with fine-grained sandpaper to create an antique effect.
Step 8. Hooray! Almost done, all that remains is to apply a layer of wax to the panel and polish it. Keep in mind that dark wax will give your panel an even more "tattered" look, while transparent wax will simply protect.
