- Make several layers of the newspaper coated with PVA glue. After each layer, let the workpiece dry for at least 3-4 hours. The last layer should be white napkins.
- Glue the ears and paint the muzzle with paints. Attach an elastic band to the sides of the craft. The monkey mask is ready.
Paper monkey
- Start your mask making by measuring the circumference of your head. Cut a wide strip of paper equal to the circumference of your head + 1cm for glueing. Fold the ends, glue the ring.
- Cut out the ears, muzzle and eyes from the paper in two colors. Glue all the details together.
- Glue the ears last with your own hands, pressing them for a while with clothespins.
- Now everyone understands that this little boy with a ponytail is a funny monkey.
Felt mask
It's just as easy to sew a felt monkey face with your own hands. It is necessary to carve out a large detail from a dark flap, and the rest from light felt: ears, nose and muzzle. Sew on the ears, muzzle and, putting a little padding polyester, secure the primate's nose with threads. Mark and cut out the eyes, draw the mouth and sew on the elastic. Touch up the contours of the hairstyle on the border, draw a pip of the nose with a black marker.
Mask on a stick
The photo shows patterns of parts of a mask made of multi-colored paper. You can scan them, enlarge and cut them the same. Only it is better not to cut the stick out of paper, but to use, for example, a wooden popsicle or a regular twig wrapped in paper. Assemble all the parts with your own hands and glue. So, while the glue dries, you can start creating the mask itself. Cut out the monkey's face and ears from cardboard. Glue the elements to the workpiece (see photo). Draw a smile with a marker and do not forget to glue live eyes.
