At first I had an idea for Barash embroidery for my nephew. When the work was completed and framed, it turned out that he loved Krosh the most. I had to urgently look for a scheme and get to work. Then for my niece, I decided to embroider a funny Nyusha. Thus, I have formed a mini-collection of characters from the cartoon "Smeshariki", which now pleases the kids in their homes.
The embroidery patterns are very simple, I think this option is ideal for beginner embroiderers. Each work uses six colors, with three primary colors, the difference is literally in shades, and three additional colors, which are used to embroider small parts and elements of the face. I would also like to say about the size of the embroidery. It is best for this work to choose a large canvas or canvas of the usual size, but instead of one standard cell, take four as a basis, then the work will look larger. If you want to use embroidery as a part of the decoration of clothes or other items, then you need to embroider on a standard canvas according to the usual pattern.
She picked up the threads herself, since some stocks remained from previous works, suitable for small work. When choosing threads, I wanted to emphasize the brightness and cheerfulness of the future embroidery. I didn't want pale and delicate shades, but I also don't accept defiantly acidic ones. It should be noted that when embroidering on a large canvas, the threads should not be thin, otherwise the work will seem empty and simply ugly. I chose thick enough and soft threads, which made it possible to calmly embroider in two threads, without fear that the pattern will "glow".
One such work can be completely embroidered in one day. After finishing work, I ironed the embroidery with back side through a wet cloth and placed in a frame, picking up for each finished work design of the corresponding color. The dimensions of the embroidered pattern are 10 * 17, which allows you to place the embroidery in a standard 15 * 20 frame, and choose the color and texture at your discretion.
