    Owners of curly hair in order to make a beautiful hairstyle have to use a hair straightener. It is a useful modern tool for taming rebellious strands. But what to do if recently you have begun to notice that your strands have faded, become brittle and dry, have acquired a miserable lifeless look? Why did it happen? Is it possible and how to restore hair after ironing?

    Why did it happen

    One of the main causes of damaged hair is exposure to high temperatures while ironing. The strands stretch, become thinner and dry. Result: dry brittle hair with split ends.

    A natural question arises: why did this happen, because you bought an expensive and safe (according to the manufacturer) iron and regularly use protective products?

    The point is that the measures you have taken can only reduce the negative impact. They are not able to fully exclude damage to the hair structure with regular use of the iron.

    What to do?

    First of all, take a close look at your iron, and analyze: whether you are using it correctly.

    • Ditch the cheap fixture with a metal build plate. The safest iron has solid ceramic heating surfaces.
    • Give preference to a model with the ability to regulate the heating temperature.
    • Straighten only dry strands.
    • Do not dry your hair with a hair dryer before using the iron.
    • Use a heat styling product that is right for your hair type.
    • Do not use the iron every day, only use it in special cases.

    Try to straighten your hair with special cosmetics instead of ironing.

    But, these are all preventive measures, so to speak, protection for hair from ironing. If the hair is already sick, your actions should be more radical:

    • If possible, for the duration of the rehabilitation measures, completely abandon the use of the iron.
    • Trim the split ends and the heavily damaged part of the curls. Unfortunately, it will no longer be possible to restore it.
    • Replace your usual shampoo and conditioner with products suitable for dry and brittle hair. They must include vitamins, keratins and proteins. Give preference to products based on natural oils with a minimum content of dyes and fragrances, as well as other chemical additives.
    • Proceed with treatment using masks prepared by yourself or seek the help of professionals. Specialists in beauty salons will advise you on how to restore your hair after ironing.

    Professional help

    The easiest way out of this situation is to seek professional help. In the beauty salon, most likely, to restore the health of your hair, you will be offered to undergo a whole course of procedures.

    This pleasure is not cheap. Therefore, for those who cannot afford such expenses, we can recommend treatment at home using ready-made professional masks based on argan oil, wheat proteins or coconut extract. These funds also cost a lot, but the course of treatment will cost much less than in a beauty salon.

    There are also lamination and keratin straightening services in beauty salons.

    Lamination is a procedure for applying a special coating to the hair that protects against the negative effects of harmful factors. As a result, each hair is surrounded by a very thin protective film. At the same time, moisture remains in the hair and oxygen exchange does not stop. The curls become even and smooth, acquire a healthy look.

    But the fact is that you can enjoy the wonderful effect for no more than a month. The coating is gradually washed off and the problem comes back again.

    Keratin straightening is a procedure that has both a cosmetic and a health-improving effect due to the use of preparations containing keratin. Hair becomes perfectly smooth and healthy looking. However, as in the previous case, the result of this procedure is temporary.

    Don't waste money creating a quick but temporary surface effect. It is better to proceed with immediate hair treatment from the inside out.

    Home recovery methods

    To restore hair after ironing, you need to saturate them with vitamins and oils. This can be done at home using masks and healing rinses. Such procedures need to be carried out regularly, and the result will not be long in coming.

    You can also do lamination at home using natural ingredients.

Nevertheless, it is completely unnecessary to run to the salon every time. We will offer you hairstyle options that you can do at home with your own hands.

    Preparation

    Initially, you need to decide whether the hairstyle will be done on your natural curls or if you want to straighten them.

    In the first case:

    1. First, you need to emphasize the natural texture of the curls. This can be done with styling. Wash your hair and apply a curl mousse, cream or foam to damp hair. Dry them naturally or with a hairdryer. The main point here is to try to create root volume.
    2. If the volume did not work out during drying, it does not matter: you can comb a little in the right places.
    3. Then style the curls into the desired shape.

    If you want to create a sleek hairstyle on curly hair, you also need to work on the texture first.

    1. You can first straighten wet hair with a brush, and dry hair with an iron, or you can immediately wind it on a curling iron or tongs. This will create a curl, but the surface will be smooth. This time you need to use a different styling: smoothing creams, foams, mousses. When heat-treating, apply a heat-shielding lotion.
    2. Create root volume.
    3. Move on to creating a hairstyle.

    Dry, lifeless hair is troublesome to its owners. How could it be otherwise, if the hair is dull, resembles the finest wire and gets tangled at the slightest movement. Why does hair look so depressing? Ammonia dyes, hard water, hair dryer, curling iron, straightening iron dry the hair and deprive it of its natural protection. Bristled scales cling to each other. If there are at least some reasons in your life, try to eliminate them first. For example, give up aggressive dyes, wash your hair with boiled water, dry your hair without a hairdryer, in the air.

    And then, no matter how sorry it is, you will have to talk about the length of your hair. If the hair is long, it is practically impossible to restore it along its entire length. Dry, lifeless hair should be shortened as much as possible before starting restorative procedures. You will restore the remaining length and shorten it slightly as it grows. Gradually, healthy hair will grow to replace them.

    To help your hair, you need adequate amounts of vitamins A and B and proteins. Therefore, take care of your diet, eat yellow-red vegetables with oil, cereals, meat, fish, liver. Regularly, once a week, for 20 minutes, apply therapeutic masks and compounds under an insulating plastic wrap hood and a towel. Then rinse with shampoo and rinse with herbal tea and lemon juice.

    Formulations for the restoration of dry, lifeless hair

    1. 1. Burdock, castor oil; jojoba oil, grape seed oil, avocado, olive oil, etc. All these oils perfectly restore dry, lifeless hair. For a mask, it is better to use a base oil or oil - the base, the essential oil is less fatty, contains more volatile substances. For achievement better result add one egg yolk to a tablespoon of oil. Apply the composition to the ends and over the entire length, stepping back 7-10 cm from the base of the hair. Use the same composition several times, for example, within a month, then the oil can be changed.
    2. 2. Whisk two egg yolks well and apply to hair and skin. Rinse with herbal tea without shampoo.
    3. 3. Herbal decoctions for rinsing hair can be prepared from chamomile, plantain, linden, nettle, birch leaves, sage, St. John's wort, hop cones and other medicinal herbs. Pour 3 tablespoons of dried leaves or flowers with a liter of hot water and soak in a water bath for about 20 minutes. If it seems tiresome, you can simply steam it over low heat. Strain, add boiled water to a liter, cool to forty degrees.

    Regular care will strengthen dry, lifeless hair, giving it strength, elasticity and a healthy shine.

    If you are dull, brittle hair, with small flakes of dandruff, they are very difficult to lay, split ends are visible, which means you have dry hair.

    Dry hair brings their owners no less problems than oily hair. Hair often becomes dry with age. This is due to a decrease in the activity of the septic glands, inability to resist the aggressive effects of the sun, wind and frost, thermal styling methods, dyeing and perm. Almost all curly hair is dry, this is due to the special scaly structure of the hair, which is unable to retain moisture.

    You should be patient, because restoring dry hair is a slow and long process. To begin with, let's pay attention to internal factors, it is known that stress is harmful to the body and our hair becomes the main indicator of health. In addition, if the hair has become dry, nutritional inaccuracies are likely to be present. Diversify your diet with fruits, vegetables, lactic acid products. It will not be superfluous to conduct a course of vitamin therapy.

    Washing dry hair often is not recommended. This should be done once every 7 days, using soft (boiled) water and a delicate washing agent - this can be a special shampoo for dry, brittle or damaged hair. It is advisable to use not only balms, but also medical masks of industrial production marked “for dry hair. "

    The use of a hair dryer should be minimized, it is better to gently dry wet hair with a towel, making a turban out of it for 10-15 minutes, remove it and let the hair dry naturally. Special protective compounds are applied to dry hair, these can be indelible creams, foams and mousses. It is advisable to abandon heat-laying for a while, but if this option is unacceptable, then a spray is needed to protect against high temperatures. But remember that using a straightener or curling iron for dry hair more than once a week is contraindicated.

    Dry hair will recover faster if you trim split ends regularly. An excellent result is obtained by the "hot scissors" technique, which not only allows you to forget about split ends for several months, but also has a healing effect and accelerates hair growth.

    Sometimes pamper your dry hair with homemade masks, for example, mix a few tablespoons of unrefined vegetable oil with lemon juice, apply to the scalp and rub into your hair, leave to rinse for half an hour and rinse with warm water. The use of burdock oil gives a good effect, it also helps to get rid of dandruff. For split ends: beat 1 egg yolk, add 1 tablespoon of onion juice, a teaspoon of honey and a tablespoon of vegetable oil. A compress of kefir and plantain leaves in equal proportions is also effective.

    To restore dry hair faster, you need to take care of your dry scalp. For this, any cream for dry skin is perfect, rub it into the scalp, then wrap it with plastic wrap and a towel. After half an hour, wash your hair in the usual way. Medicinal properties possesses burdock, it was not for nothing that it has been used for hair since ancient times. Take 8 tbsp. tablespoons of chopped burdock root, boil for 15 minutes in a liter of water, then cool and strain. Rub the resulting broth into the roots 2 times a week for two months. After washing, rinse your hair well with chamomile infusion with lemon juice.

    In winter, dry hair is best hidden under a hat. And in summer, protect the rays of the sun, for this it is advisable to use styling products with UV filters.

    Some have oily hair, and some have dry hair. There is a solution for every problem. The main thing is proper care.

    Restoration of oily hair

    Oily hair, due to increased greasiness and accumulating dirt, does not look attractive at all, therefore it requires daily cleansing. They can be washed with a mild shampoo every day, and with a special shampoo every two days. Too hot water dries out the hair, causing the sebaceous glands to secrete excess oil. As a result, the hair becomes heavy and difficult to style. Therefore, always wash your head with lukewarm water, and rinse with cold water at the end. Set the hair dryer to the lowest temperature regime, but rather dry your hair naturally. It is better not to use intensive treatments and hair masks. If the hair is oily at the roots, then apply rinse only to the ends. But for hair, it is more useful to use super-light products in the form of a spray, which are applied to the hair and no longer rinse off.

    Rest your hair often. Tightened with rubber bands for a long time, they become brittle and excised.

    From home care products, washing with mustard is beneficial for hair. Dilute 1 tbsp. l. mustard in 0.5 liters of warm water, wash your hair, and then rinse with water acidified with vinegar.

    Among cosmetics, the Balancing Shampoo for Oily and Combination Hair from Faberlik has an effective effect on oily hair; Darphin Star Anise Regulating Shampoo, which reduces excess sebum; "Conditioner for thin and oily hair”From Oriflame, it provides shine and volume.

    Dry hair needs a gentle wash and requires very mild shampoos... Apply them to your hair in small amounts and only at the very roots. For the rest of the hair, whatever flows down during washing is sufficient. You can dry it with a hairdryer, but direct the air stream only towards the ends of the hair. Then the scales will lay down smoothly and the hair will shine. Set the hair dryer to a medium temperature and air flow rate and keep it as far away from the hair as possible.

    Reliable protection for dry hair are cosmetic oils... Sage, rosemary or avocado oil envelops each hair in a protective film without making it greasy. Apply oil treatment once a week before washing. Rub into dry hair, comb through and leave for 30 minutes. Then wash your hair with shampoo.

    Effective cosmetic products are Clarins Revitalizing Shampoo, which gives hair shine and strength; Darphin Olive Revitalizing Shampoo, deep action cream with carrot oil for dry hair.

    Restoring curly and unruly hair

    Curly and unruly hair- the dream of any woman deprived of such an adornment. But such hair requires special care. First of all, dry them with a diffuser blow dryer. While lifting a section of hair with one hand, direct a stream of warm air towards it from the bottom up with the other, gradually immersing the diffuser into the hair.

    Emphasize beautiful shape curls and moisturize dry hair with wax, but you need to observe the measure, otherwise the hair will look dirty. Use conditioner on the ends of your hair. Rub it into your palms and massage into the ends of your hair before styling. Vegetable oils such as olive oil restore flexibility and elasticity to brittle and unruly hair. Use cosmetics specifically for curly hair: Oriflame Conditioning Spray with a firming effect, Perfect Curls Shampoo and Conditioning Conditioner by Pantene Pro-V, waxes from Rene Furterer set the hairstyle.

    How to quickly get rid of dandruff

    If you develop dandruff, use Vichy's special Dercos shampoo, which contains an active antifungal ingredient. It will help get rid of this problem and prevent reoccurrence. Try to wash your hair properly: shampoo your hair generously, hold the foam for 30 minutes, gently massaging the scalp, then rinse thoroughly. You should also not massage too vigorously and brush your hair for a long time and intensively. Hair brushes should also be monitored and washed regularly with anti-dandruff shampoo to remove bacteria. At home, you can prepare a decoction of fresh nettle leaves and coltsfoot.

    Restoration of dull hair

    Dull hair needs oil and moisture. Mix equal parts jojoba oil with aloe vera gel, apply the mixture to hair with a comb and rinse after 30 minutes.

    Frequent dyeing and perming will leave hair brittle and discolored, so apply a moisturizer to revitalize it and rinse thoroughly after 20 minutes.

    With age, hair becomes thinner, dull and lifeless. Use L'Oreal Elseve Regenium shampoo, it contains active toning agents that restore hair vitality, shine and density.

    When using and reprinting the material, an active link to

    Curly hair is especially prone to dryness.... Due to the heterogeneous wavy structure, the sebaceous secretion is unevenly distributed along the length of the hair, the ends are deprived of protection and nutrition.

    Oily scalp and roots combined with dry break-off ends are common among those with curly curls.

    In this case, special attention should be paid to:

    • moisturizing;
    • protection from damage;
    • correct washing;
    • prevention of dryness.

    With improper care, such hair becomes fluffy, porous and unruly, and its ends thin out due to cross-section and breaking off. It is necessary to restore the internal structure of the hair, smooth out irregularities and fill the porosity with special means.

    Useful procedures

    Home treatments for curly dry hair include use of masks and head massage... Masks should be done at least once a week. The purpose of the mask is to nourish and restore hair, penetrating deeply into its structure.

    The mask will bring the greatest benefit if you keep it on your head for at least half an hour, and at the same time insulate your head. The heat increases the blood circulation so that the roots are nourished especially intensively.

    Don't forget to read the instructions- some masks are designed for a five-minute application, it makes no sense to keep them on your head for hours. In such masks, the concentration of nutrients is increased, and you risk getting the opposite effect if you overdo it.

    A head massage is good because it promotes the supply of nutrients to the hair follicles. Apply to fingertips for more effective treatment vegetable oils(burdock, olive, linseed, peach).

    You can do a massage before each shampooing, while washing, or at any free time.

    Salon treatments are more varied than home treatments... What belongs to them?

    1. Lamination... A special composition is applied to form a protective film on each hair.

      They acquire volume and shine, become more obedient. Several sessions are needed, the effect lasts about two months.

    2. Glazing... A procedure similar to lamination, only a special nourishing and protecting glaze is applied to the hair, which is colored and colorless.

      The effect is enough for a period from two weeks to one and a half months.

    3. Shielding... The essence of the procedure remains the same - the hair is wrapped in a nutritious screening composition. The volume of the hairstyle increases significantly. The healing effect is more pronounced than in the case of lamination and glazing, it lasts about a month.

    Care products

    To eliminate dryness are effective indelible care products. These include:

    • oils;
    • sprays;
    • fluids;
    • creams;
    • serum.

    Let us consider, using the example of several indelible agents, what effect they give and how they differ.

    Complexes of oils

    What are the benefits of oils for hair? To begin with, they are subdivided into penetrating and covering.

    The former seep deeply into the hair scales, providing protection from damage during the washing process. This is avocado oil.

    The latter form a protective layer on the hair, preventing moisture from leaving them. This, for example, jojoba, sunflower, corn oil... After washing, it is recommended to use coating oils.

    Care complexes contain several types of oils at once, and auxiliary chemical agents can be added to them: silicones, proteins, glycerin, etc. Oil you need apply on dry ends after washing in a small amount.

    It is important not to overdo it so as not to create a greasy effect.

    The oils are good for their natural composition and healing effect, but it is not very convenient to apply them... In addition, you will need to experiment with different kinds oil complexes, as some of them can weigh down or stick together your hairstyle.

    Oils suitable for dry hair:

    • Natura Siberica, sea buckthorn oil complex;
    • Organic Shop, jojoba oil;
    • L'Oreal Elseve, Extraordinary Revitalizing Oil;
    • Riche, Hair Oil Amla;
    • Ciel Parfum, 9 in 1 oil, protection and shine.

    Serums

    The serum simultaneously moisturizes and heals hair, and promotes their easy styling ... It combines the properties of balm, mousse and mask, will help to form beautiful curls.

    The composition includes a conditioner-restorer, as well as other components that are aimed at hair restoration: extracts, proteins, oils, biopolymers, panthenol.

    The components of the serum contribute to the saturation of the scalp with oxygen, accelerate hair growth, improve their structure... Some serums are applied to the ends of the hair, while others (for example, anti-hair loss) - to the roots.

    The serum is convenient for its versatility: it is both a healing and styling product.

    Examples of anti-dryness serums:

    • Tahe Gold Secret, to restore dry and frizzy hair;
    • Kharisma Voltage Daily Nutritive Hair Serum;
    • Kapous Dual Renascence 2 phase, moisturizing serum;
    • Kapous moisturizing with argan oil;
    • Biocon Hair Strength, for dry and brittle ends.

    Sprays

    The spray is perhaps the most convenient product to use. It is quick and easy to apply, it works instantly, you can carry it with you and spray it on your hair throughout the day.

    At the base of the spray is most often present thermal water or herbal decoction... Keratin, oils, silicones, vitamins are added to them. The composition should be sprayed onto clean hair (dry or wet, depending on the specific type of spray).

    The spray can be used during styling, but not in conjunction with irons and hair dryers, unless it is allowed in the instructions. It envelops the hair, creating a film that prevents moisture loss.

    Examples of sprays suitable for dry curls:

    • Ouidad Botanical Boost Moisture Infusing & Refreshing Spray;
    • Wella Elements, a moisturizing conditioner spray;
    • Shiseido Tsubaki Damage Care Hair Water;
    • L'oreal Hydra Repair moisturizing conditioner spray;
    • Yellow Curly therapy for curly hair.

    How to properly wash, dry and comb your strands?

    How to care for curly dry hair? For washing use shampoo and conditioner suitable for your hair type... Read how to choose a shampoo for dry hair.

    Give up terry towels, microfiber is more suitable in the fight against dryness and brittleness.

    You definitely need extra care - masks, serums, elixirs.

    Among them, choose products that make the surface of the hair smoother.

    Look for hyaluronic acid in the composition, it perfectly fills the hair with moisture and prevents them from breaking.

    Replace your combs with the correct ones - with sparse teeth and an anti-static effect. You cannot use metal and plastic combs, opt for wooden or silicone ones. Choose alcohol-free products for styling, especially varnishes and sprays.

    Now about the washing procedure.

    You need to start washing from the root zone. Pour some shampoo into your hands, lather and apply to your scalp. Using gentle movements, without jerking, distribute the foam through the hair.

    The tips will have enough shampoo that gets on them during rinsing. It is enough to massage your head with shampoo for 3-4 minutes.

    note! If you've used styling products, you should shampoo your hair at least twice. If not, one soaping is enough. Avoid hot water as it can dry out your scalp and hair.

    Now it's the turn of the mask. After rinsing your hair, wring it out. It is necessary to remove excess moisture before applying the mask - this way more nutrients will go to the hair.

    Start applying the mask from the ends, gradually move to the roots..

    Distribute it with gentle brushing movements. Too much mask should not be applied, hair should not "float" in it. You need to keep the mask for 5-10 minutes, then rinse.

    Your hair has become smoother, does not tangle, but it is too early to finish washing at this stage, since the hair scales are open and you need to return them to their previous state. For this apply conditioner over the entire length.

    Avoid getting conditioner on the roots to avoid adding volume to your hair.

    At the end of the wash, rinse your head with cool water. Then squeeze out the excess moisture and wrap your head with a towel for about five minutes.

    Do not rush to brush your hair after washing. When wet, the hairs become more vulnerable, easily break off and torn out. First brush them with your hands, then grab the comb.

    If you blow-dry your hair, start at the root zone. Point the hair dryer from top to bottom. Dry your hair with slightly cool air, never hot.

    Warm air enhances the effect of a mask or serum... It is better to switch to drying naturally, without a hairdryer, since thermal effect violates the structure of the hair.

    Dryness prevention

    Keeping your hair dry is not enough to keep your hair dry. You will have to make changes in your lifestyle and take care of your body's health.

    What to do:

    • introduce into your diet foods rich in vitamins A, E, group B;
    • protect your head from the wind, cold, scorching sun;
    • use less hairdryer, iron, curling iron;
    • avoid stress.

    Cut dry hair at least once every three months, in order to get rid of . Haircut with hot scissors is especially effective.

    Remember to massage your head at least once a week. You can massage yourself, or you can take a course with a beautician every six months.

    Attention! If, despite all the efforts, the hairstyle becomes worse and worse, it makes sense to consult a doctor: therapist, endocrinologist, trichologist. The deplorable condition of the hair and scalp can indicate diseases of the internal organs and hormonal imbalance.

    Fighting dry frizzy hair is difficult and time-consuming, but feasible. Don't dwell on just one method of hydration and recovery. The most effective will be an integrated approach, which includes taking care not only of the hair, but also of the state of the body as a whole.

    Curly hair care and care products - in two parts:

    About my hair: dry, porous, thin, naughty, curly, never dyed, cut 2 times under a square.
    Colour: Blond
    How many years have I been growing: almost 4 years
    How long do I want: currently 80 cm.
    Length now: 64 cm.

    I'll start with the background
    As a child, I was very curly and my mother could not comb my hair, because I did not let her do it (it hurt me, since it was always tangled).

    Until the age of 11, I constantly went to school with braids, since this was the easiest way to pacify my mane (and the hair from the braids was straighter). I washed my head with ordinary shampoo, I didn't have any masks, balms, I combed my hair very hard, constantly tore it up.

    And then one day, during a summer vacation in Tiraspol (since there is an awful heat), I asked my mother to cut my hair under a bob (I was about 11 years old then). This was a terrible mistake! I still regret it. It is a pity that there is no photo. Then I still did not understand how beautiful my hair was. But then I really liked this square, but I liked it so much that after a couple of years I repeated it in my city, but unsuccessfully. Until now, with a shudder I remember my "stubs" of hair, my tears after this "haircut". In the photo below, they are already 4-5 centimeters in the industry. So imagine what happened before. Nightmare!

    I started hair care only in 2012 at the end of the 2nd year of the university. After my tips were trimmed, I went to the pharmacy and bought my first oil, jojoba oil. Then I found out that the pharmacy oils are not of the best quality, and I began to order them on the Internet.
    My favorite firms: Workshop of Olesya Mustaeva and Spivak (but they are not mega-natural either).
    I started to restore hair with using oils... I tried a ton of oils, it makes no sense to paint everything.
    At the moment my favorites from base oils are:
    -coconut oil
    -argan oil
    -linseed oil
    - monoi de tahiti oil
    -broccoli oil
    -Shea Butter
    -cacao butter
    -almond oil
    - hemp oil
    -jojoba oil
    Favorite essential oils:
    -lavender
    -lang-ylang
    -bei (for growth)
    -sage
    -rosemary (for growth)
    -cinnamon (for growth)

    Homemade masks
    When I started to restore my hair, I did oil masks 3-4 times a week, once a week I made sure to leave the mask overnight. Now I do oil masks 2 times a week (and sometimes 1) before washing my hair and that's enough for me.
    It is advisable to leave the oil masks overnight, but should only be applied to the length.
    It is better not to keep such masks on the hair roots for more than 2 hours, since they can clog the pores, and as a result, hair loss will increase, they will become greasy faster.
    IMPORTANT: Essential oils should never be stirred with a metal spoon! Only wooden or, in extreme cases, plastic.
    The main thing is to make masks regularly and not to be lazy!

    1. Mask with coconut oil
    We need: coconut oil

    I comb my hair, take a little oil (the melting temperature of the oil is 25˚), rub it in my palms and apply it on the hair with “squeezing” movements, as if pressing the oil into the hair (I apply only to the length). I comb my hair with a comb so that the oil is better distributed through the hair (I do this for all oil masks). Then I twist my hair into a bun,
    I put on a bag, a hat and go to bed (but more often I just braid my hair or make a bun, put a towel on the pillow and sleep like that). I wash it off in the morning.
    Lately, that's the only thing I've been doing.

    2. Kefir mask
    We need:
    - 1 glass of kefir (fatter is better)
    - 7 drops of lavender essential oil
    - 7 drops of sage essential oil
    - sometimes I add cocoa
    I heat the kefir in a water bath (you can heat it in the microwave), add essential oils to it and stir it. I apply this mixture to the roots and the entire length of the hair, twist the bun, put on a bag, a hat and walk like that until I get bored (at least an hour, usually about 3 hours). Then I wash off everything with warm water and my head as usual.
    P.S. The mask is flowing.

    3. Sour cream mask with cocoa
    We need:
    - 1 glass of sour cream
    - 7 drops of lavender essential oil (or any other essential oil)
    - cocoa powder
    The principle is the same as with the kefir mask.
    I heat sour cream + cocoa in a water bath (you can heat it in the microwave), add essential oils to the mixture and stir. I apply the mask to the roots and length of the hair, twist the bun, put on a bag, a hat (I walk for about 3 hours). Then I wash off everything with warm water and my head as usual.
    P.S. The mask is flowing.

    4. Egg mask with honey and aloe
    As you know, how well the hair is formed in the bulb, so good hair will be in the future. That is, you need to take good care of the scalp, drink vitamins so that the hair is initially formed strong and healthy.
    We need:
    - aloe pulp (or aloe gel)

    - 2 tablespoons of honey
    - 2 yolks
    - burdock oil (or any base oil)
    - 7 drops of ylang-ylang essential oil
    - 6 drops of rosemary essential oil

    Mix the pulp or aloe gel with honey, yolk, burdock oil, essential oils of ylang-ylang and rosemary + vitamins A and E. Apply the mixture to the hair roots, twist the bun, put on a bag and a hat.
    I walk with her for an hour, then I wash off with warm water and wash my head as usual.

    5. Supermix of oils
    We need:
    - 2 tablespoons of flaxseed oil
    - cacao butter
    - Shea Butter
    - almond oil
    - hemp oil
    - jojoba oil
    - walnut oil
    -olive oil
    - pumpkin seed oil
    - essential oil of lavender, sage, rosemary (sometimes I also add patchouli and ylang-ylang)
    In a water bath, melt the cocoa and shea butter, when the mixture cools down (barely warm), add there oils: almond, hemp, jojoba, walnut, olive, pumpkin. We mix everything. Then add lavender, sage, patchouli and ylang-ylang oils (about 5 drops each). Mix again.
    Apply to the length of the hair for 2 hours (or better for 3 hours, you can also overnight). The mask turns out to be very oily, but the effect is amazing.

    6. Sea buckthorn oil
    For nourishing hair roots I like to do this mask:
    - sea buckthorn oil
    - rosemary essential oil
    - 1 teaspoon each vitamin A and E
    I mix everything, put the mask on the roots (it is possible for the length), put on a bag, a hat and walk for an hour. Then I wash off with warm water and wash my head as usual.
    Caution, sea buckthorn oil dyes very well!

    Girls, do not expect miracles from oils after the first application! To have a result, you need to use oils regularly (at least for two to three months). I used oils to restore my hair, which had been killed by poor treatment, for a very long time ( more than a year for sure). And a small result appeared, for me personally, only six months later! But when I saw him, I was incredibly happy. The result was worth all my efforts.
    The oils provide protection against splitting and brittleness. They provide, rather than treat, already damaged and split ends. Severed hair only needs to be cut off and nothing else! And only then to treat with oils and other means (more on that below)
    IMPORTANT! If you have completely dead hair on your head (improper lightening, dyeing, chemical perm, hair burned with an iron, etc.), then NOTHING already won't save your hair! There is only one way out - to cut everything off and start growing.

    7 steps to beauty your hair.
    Now let's take a look at what the RIGHT care for our hair should be.
    I think many people know, but I still repeat that in caring for any type of hair, it is best to apply multi-layer care, in which there should be an emphasis on nutrition(e.g. oils), humidification(products containing: hyaluronic acid, d-panthenol, glycerin, aloe extract, betaine, marine collagen, etc., for example, a spray from Librederm), restoration (products containing: proteins, keratin, collagen, elastin, etc., for example, lundenilona 3 in 1 night mask) and hair protection (products that include: aminopropyl phenyl trimethicone, phenyl trimethicone, etc.) I will soon make a separate review about this.
    So, first stage- hair cleansing. This includes shampoos.
    Second stage- mask (balm, conditioner).
    Third step- ampoule care.
    Fourth step- sprays. They are needed for moisturizing, protecting hair from the sun, easy combing ...
    Fifth step- milk (cream) for hair.
    Sixth step- oil (any non-washing agent), heat protection for hair ends.
    Seventh step- the right comb.
    Below I will describe each step in more detail.

    My care secrets curly hair:

    1. Combing (7th step).
    I wrote about how to comb properly in the article. I think I will not repeat myself here.

    2. Proper shampooing.
    I wash my hair upside down.
    I believe that it is right to wash my hair like this: first, I thoroughly wet my head warm! water, then pour shampoo into the palm of my hand, lather it and only then apply it to the roots! hair, gently massage the scalp (foam flows down the hair, do not rub the hair!). Then again I pour the shampoo into the palm of my hand and repeat the procedure, that is I wash my head 2 times(for the first time, dirt, styling products are washed off the hair ...). After that, I thoroughly rinse the hair from the shampoo with warm water, then gently squeeze the water out of the hair to apply a mask (balm, conditioner), withstand the allotted time for the mask (balm, conditioner) to work and rinse the hair with cool water (with this action we close the hair scales making our hair smooth and shiny).
    But if I did oily oil masks, or styled my hair with a lot of styling products, or if I wash my head with deep cleansing shampoo (SHGO), then gently distribute the foam along the length of the hair.
    IMPORTANT! You cannot wash your hair with hot water, as the sebaceous glands on our head begin to work actively, and the hair will very quickly become oily, and may still lose its shine.
    Wash your hair only when it gets dirty!

    2.1. Shampoos. (1st stage)
    My requirements for shampoos:
    First, and most importantly, they must cleanse the hair well.
    Second, should not exacerbate existing problems.
    Third, suitable for my scalp type.
    Fourth, there should be a different shampoo for each season.
    I try to use organic shampoos and alternate them before each shampooing (my favorites: solid shampoo "Amla" and "Chamomile" from the Workshop of Olesya Mustaeva; shampoo Organic Tai "Frangipani";
    gel-cream for shampooing from ChocoLatte "White Grapes", "Strawberry", "Citrus").

    But, in some masks I have Amodimethicone. After using these masks (for example, an orange mask from Angel), I wash my head with a professional shampoo.

    Amodimethicone does not tend to build up strong and does not dissolve in water, however, it is completely washed out with shampoos with Lauryl Sulfate (lauryl sulfate), Laureth Sulfate (laureth sulfate) or Cocamidopropil Betaine (cocamidopropyl betaine).

    I bought myself a pair for the summer professional shampoos: shampoo from Angel Professional Solar Series and deep cleansing shampoo (GOSH) also from Angel Professional, which I will use once a month, since I use masks with silicones.
    GOSH (or SHGO) - is intended for deep cleansing of hair from various impurities accumulated in them. If your hair is soaked from masks and other care products (varnishes, foams ...), hangs like icicles, has become dull, then you just need a deep cleaning shampoo. Regular shampoos wash away only surface impurities, and dirt continues to accumulate inside the hair.

    2.2. Masks, balms, conditioners. (2nd stage)
    Now I use professional masks for length, and organic masks for the roots (I used to love exclusively organic care, it restored my hair very well, but now it has become too long (64 cm), from organic matter they have little moisture, protection. Therefore, about 1 , 5 years ago I switched to prof).
    IMPORTANT! You do not need to climb into the mask with wet hands (since when taking a bath or shower, water gets into the mask), it is better to use wooden spoon or spatula, or try to dry your hands.
    My favorite professional masks:
    a) Hair Mask Angel Professional Instant recovery with Argan oil;

    b) Hair mask ANGEL Professional Nourishing hair cream;

    v) Brelil NUMERO hair cream mask with oats

    G) Masks from Kaaral (Hydra and with royal jelly - took for bottling)

    My Favorite Organic Masks
    a) Sunlight cream mask Minoxidil 1% burdock oil + tea tree with sea buckthorn (and other cream masks of this series) - stimulates hair growth due to the content of minoxidil in it - I apply it to the roots;

    b) Balm-conditioner for hair Olesya Mustaeva's workshop with broccoli oil - I apply to the length.

    I also really like the Angel Professional MARINE DEPTH SPA CONDITIONER hair conditioner.
    I apply masks (balms, conditioners) like this: after washing my hair 2 times, I gently squeeze (do not twist) the hair to remove excess moisture, which will prevent the mask (or conditioner) from being absorbed well (you can wrap them in a towel that will absorb this excess moisture), and then apply organic the mask for the roots, and the professional mask for the length. Withstand the necessary time, wash off with cool water (again, cool in order to close the hair scales).
    I wash my head 2 times a week at night (but sometimes for important events, so that the curls lie better in the morning). For the first time (Wednesday) I apply a mask on the length, and the second time (Sunday) conditioner. I apply an organic mask to the roots every time.
    After every shampoo, I try to rinse my hair with herbs.
    My favorite: sage, chamomile, nettle, linden, mint.

    3. Ampoule care. (3rd step)

    Even if the hair is in excellent condition, it needs special care. Modern cosmetology offers ampoules for hair restoration. As a rule, multicomponent care products contain a whole range of useful amino acids, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Such a "cocktail" of nutrients not only strengthens, but also penetrates deep into the hair structure.
    Ampoule care is a rare but irreplaceable care for my hair. With him, the hairs just come to life! I use ampoules every two weeks.
    Tried only 3 ampoules (from Selective, Dikson and Lakme). I loved the latter the most.

    How to use the ampoule from Lakme
    I use the ampoule after the shampoo, apply the product for about 15 minutes on damp hair wrung out with a towel. When you pour the product into the palm of your hand, you immediately feel the warming effect. You need to pour it very carefully so as not to spill. The oil must be carefully distributed over the entire length of the hair (retreat about 15 centimeters from the roots), whip the foam with “cuddling” movements (be sure to beat until foam, otherwise there will be no result! Checked!) The oil foams very well.
    Then I apply conditioner (or balm). I keep it for 5-10 minutes and wash it off cool! water. The procedure is carried out once every two weeks and I consider it sufficient for my hair.
    As a result, my hair becomes soft, silky, supple and very well hydrated.
    Result from ampoules + comprehensive care

    4. Drying your hair
    After I washed my hair (paragraph 2 ), I wrap my hair with a towel (like a turban) and walk like this for a minute or two (no more 5 ) to absorb excess moisture.
    Then I gently unwrap the turban and gently blot my hair, do not rub them.
    Advice: If you dry your hair with a hairdryer, then dry it better cold air using a diffuser nozzle and be sure to apply thermal protection (and if you straighten your hair, thermal protection will help you, without it there is a risk of severely damaging your hair)! This is my personal opinion.

    5. Indelible products (4th, 5th and 6th steps) and hair styling
    When the hair dries out a little (it is not wet, but damp!), I either comb it with a Tangle Angel comb (if I wash my head in the morning),

    or I divide my hair into two tails (I do this at night), as if I'm going to weave two braids, spray the ends and length of the hair with a spray (for example, Librederm - 4th stage) and apply indelible agents on them first to the length (for example, cream - 5th stage), then onto the tips (for example, a non-wash from CHI - 6th stage). Then I tilt my head down and begin to "crumple" the hair so that the curls are better formed. I sleep with this "hairdo" on my head.
    Since it can be seen badly, I explain: I tilt my head down, I stick my hair in an elastic band, as if I’m going to tie a tail, I make one turn, and I don’t push my hair through the second turn of the elastic band. According to this principle, the hair bow is woven from hair.
    In the morning I just gently untie it, slightly moisten my hair with water, “crumple” my hair and get fresh and beautiful curls. This is the only way I style my hair.
    If during the day the hairs begin to fluff, then I simply smooth them with water, or I spray them on them.
    I don’t style my hair except a cream and an indelible solution (with these two products, my hair already looks good), because I’m afraid that products such as mousse, gel, will dry my hair or stick it together, but I still want to try Angel's foam. ).
    I will give below an example of my favorite leave-in products.

    Indelible products for length
    a) Angel Professional Paris Algae Nourishing Hair Cream (leave-in) is my favorite;

    b) MoltoBene hair milk is also a wonderful remedy.
    v) Cream from Londa - for the summer to protect hair from the sun
    Leave-in products for hair ends
    a) Repairing hair product CHI Silk Infusion;

    b) Argan oil for hair with particles of gold Tahe Keratin gold. I have it recently, but I have already managed to love it;
    v) Restorative hair oil Dancoly Angel Professional;
    None of these products dry out my hair.

    Hair sprays
    a) Librederm Hyaluronic Fluid Hair Conditioner;
    b) Moisturizing serum KAPOUS DUAL RENASCENCE 2 phase;
    v) Spray Angel from the Sun Protection Series
    They moisturize the hair perfectly.

    Hair after complex care:

    6. Hairpins.
    I use rubber bands-wires, they are very comfortable and do not tear my hair.

    7. Means for hair growth
    Since my hair grows very slowly, I stimulate hair growth with masks.

    Homemade remedies

    1. Homemade burdock oil
    I never liked the burdock oil in the pharmacy, so I decided to prepare it myself, because it's so easy!
    To prepare it we need:
    - burdock roots
    -mustard oil
    - calamus roots
    Pour the mustard oil into a jar in which you will infuse your oil. Then we pour burdock roots and calamus roots into it (how much to pour depends on your jar, I sprinkled about 2 tablespoons on the eye), shake the jar so that the roots are completely in oil and put it all in a warm place for 10 days. After 10 days, filter the oil and you can smear the hair roots.

    2. Nettle oil
    To prepare it we need:
    - nettle leaves
    -mustard oil (or olive)
    It is done in the same way as burdock oil:
    Pour the mustard oil into a jar in which you will infuse your oil. Then pour nettle leaves into it, shake the jar so that the leaves are completely in the oil and put it all in a warm place for 10 days. After 10 days, filter the oil and you can smear the hair roots.

    3. Mustard mask
    This well-known mask helps very well in hair growth, as it bakes the scalp very well. But you need to use it carefully, it can burn the skin, as well as dry your hair.
    To prepare this mask we need:
    - 1 tablespoon mustard powder
    - 1 tablespoon of sugar (if the mustard does not bake, you can add 2 tablespoons)
    - a decoction of nettle (by eye)
    - 1 yolk
    - 1-2 tablespoons of burdock (mustard) oil

    We mix the nettle broth, mustard powder and sugar until a homogeneous, not too liquid consistency, then add oils and yolk and apply strictly to the roots. Be sure to grease the length of your hair with plenty of oils, otherwise the mustard will dry out all your hair! Then we put on a bag, a hat and walk like this for 15-30 minutes (depending on how it bakes) or even less, look at your sensations (if it bakes strongly, do not tolerate it, otherwise you will burn your scalp, dandruff may appear!). Rinse off not with hot water, but with lukewarm water, otherwise there will be a fire on the head.
    Carefully, try to avoid getting on your face, nose, or eyes while you wash off this mixture! It is better to make a mask in courses (for example, 1 month, once a week).

    4. Scrub for scalp with essential oils
    We need:
    - finely ground sea salt
    -6 drops of bay essential oil
    -5 drops of rosemary essential oil
    -clay
    I mix all the ingredients and gently scrub the scalp before washing the hair (I must apply oil to the length and ends so that the salt does not dry out).
    Why am I adding clay?
    If you scrub the scalp with just salt with the addition of essential oils, the salt crumbles a lot (maybe someone is lucky and everything is in order), and when I add clay, everything is perfectly applied. Also, clay is very useful for hair.
    Salt scalp scrub:
    - accelerates hair growth (as the blood circulation of the scalp improves);
    - prevents hair loss;
    - hair after it is less greasy;
    - removes dead cells;
    - cleanses the scalp.

    5. Pepper mask
    We need:
    - tincture of paprika
    -hair balm (natural, no sls)
    Such a mask is applied only to the roots, it is imperative to apply an oil mask to the length, since pepper can dry the hair, I put on a bag and a hat on top. The scalp should be hot. I usually go with her for about an hour, then gently wash off with warm water, then wash my head as usual. It, like the mustard mask, is best done in courses.

    6. Mask with essential oil of cinnamon (or bay)
    We need:
    - essential oil of cinnamon (or bey)
    -base oil (burdock, mustard, sea buckthorn)
    Add about 5-6 drops of cinnamon essential oil (or about 10 drops of bey ether) to the base oil, stir and apply to the scalp. Carefully! Cinnamon bakes really hard! Better to start adding, for example, 3 drops of cinnamon ether, and then, if the baking is bad, increase the number of drops. I keep it for about half an hour (sometimes an hour), wash it off.

    Purchased funds

    1. Minoxidil

    I have been using Minoxidil recently (since April 2016). I put it on clean skin heads (no more than 18-22 presses) once a day and do not wash off.
    Outcome: a lot of little hairs appeared.
    But recently I abandoned it, as the roots with this remedy are more greasy.

    2. Mask Russian field with pepper
    Everyone knows the mask.

    I put it on the roots, and on the length of the oil mask, for insulation I put on a bag, then a hat. The mask can be warmed up with a hairdryer. I walk with her for an hour, then I wash it off with water and my head as usual.

    8. Hair cutting, hot scissors
    I go to the hairdresser's once six months (I advise you to have a haircut as needed), but at home I regularly do a haircut with flagella once a month to remove the entire cut. I think there is no need to explain that cut hair cannot be glued together, you just need to cut it off. If you do not cut, then the cut hair will only become larger, the hair will break off, the length will stand still.
    Therefore, the most successful option is a haircut with flagella, because the cut hairs are removed both at the length and at the ends, and the hairs grow further, the length is added.
    Recently I went for a procedure: hair cutting with hot scissors. I really liked it. First, they straightened my hair, then cut the length and ends of my hair with flagella. This is much better than I cut myself at home, because on straight hair the section is clearly visible, but on curly hair it is almost invisible. The hair was insanely soft and smooth. Now I will always go to it.
    But there is a couple but:
    1) they did not wash my hair and did not apply any masks before the procedure, but this should be done (but I knew about this, I just warn you in advance);
    2) before straightening, they did not put any thermal protection on my hair and steam came from them. But this is a serious omission!

    I think I'll look for another master and before signing up, I'll ask him what and how he will do.

    9. Vitamins for hair
    Every day (morning and evening) I take linseed oil... I also plan to buy other oils (cedar, pumpkin) and drink them every day.
    I also took vitamins Perfectil, I liked them, but my aunt scared me that her friend (also a hair-man) put them in my stomach, and I decided to stop drinking them.
    Since June I have been drinking vitamins from Amway - NUTRILITE Double X with vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients.

    Sometimes I drink a course of vitamin pentovit. By autumn I plan to buy 21st Century Health Care Biotin vitamins for hair, skin and nails at Ayherb or Silettum vitamins for hair, skin and nails.

    10. Aroma combing.
    I rarely do aroma combing, but I really like doing it with lavender essential oil.
    I do it like this: on a wooden comb (or bone), I drip a few drops of essential oil and thoroughly, and most importantly, gently comb the hair for at least 5 minutes (it is advisable not to touch the roots). Aroma combing is done only on clean hair (not smeared with anything!). It is advisable to ventilate the room before and after the procedure.
    IMPORTANT! Before using the oil, make sure you are not allergic to it and that you enjoy the smell.
    Aroma combing should be done with natural essential oils (I like the ethers from Olesya Mustaeva's Workshop, sometimes I take it from Spivak, although even they are not very natural). But the essential oils from the pharmacy are definitely not natural.
    I plan to buy myself a lot of delicious oils and take on this business thoroughly.
    I try to do the same head massage everyday.

    Some more nuances
    - Proper nutrition- the key to healthy hair! And their nutrition begins from the inside. Try to eat more healthy foods.
    - Alcohol (smoking) - enemy of your hair... It deprives your hair (of course, and not only them) of nutrition, shine.
    - Necessary get enough sleep.
    - Drink 1.5-2 liters of water per day.

    The difference in length between curly and straight hair for me is 11 centimeters (plus or minus a couple of centimeters. It all depends on the styling). Now, the length of my hair is 64 centimeters(straight), and in curly - about 53 centimeters.
    This is how our curls "steal" the length

    My mistakes in curly hair care:
    1. Combing.
    -Everyone knows that you cannot comb your curls, as there will be fluff. But I combed and collected them in the tail up to the 2nd year of the university. Horror.
    - I used a bad comb, which simply tore my hair.
    2. Improper washing.
    -I washed the entire length of my hair, and rubbed the shampoo not in the palms of my hands, but poured it immediately on my head.
    - I rubbed my hair along the entire length, roughly massaged the scalp with my nails.
    Outcome: hair dried up, began to be severely cut.
    3. Drying your hair with a towel.
    Never rub your hair with a towel! From this they become very confused, damaged and begin to split.
    4. Do not let your hair dry out.
    Before my hair care, I hadn't thought of any sprays, masks or other moisturizing things. Curly hair is dry hair.
    5. Combing wet hair.
    I used to comb my wet hair and comb it with a comb that would rip out tufts of hair. Remember, you cannot comb wet hair! But wet hair, with moisturizers applied to it, is possible, which I sometimes do.
    6. Hair dryer, iron, curling iron.
    I always dry my hair naturally, I use a hairdryer very rarely (when I am in a hurry somewhere and only cold air), they straightened my hair with an iron in the salon once in my life, when I cut it with flagella. I never used a curling iron.
    7. Elastic bands, hairpins.
    - You can't use elastic bands with iron inserts, they tear your hair! And also you can not use tight rubber bands.
    8. Paint
    I have never dyed, because I consider it harmful for curls (until I have gray hair, I will definitely not dye it). But when I have to do it, and then I will only use good professional paints.

    Well, a couple more tips:
    1. Never do keratin straightening. It is very harmful to the hair! (Personally my opinion)
    2. Choose a hairdresser very carefully (preferably one who knows how to work with your hair type). I think many have read about cases that the hairdresser, instead of a centimeter of hair, cut off 5 centimeters (this is still as lucky as anyone). So that this does not happen to you, you need a proven master with light hand... Either cut your hair yourself (I often use flagella) or ask your relatives.
    3. Do not sleep with your hair loose, as it is very tangled (it is better to collect them in a "pineapple" or in a braid).
    My advice is my personal experience and I just share it with you.
    I have been writing this review for a very long time and thoroughly, and I hope that it is useful to you!

    Many women dream of having a luxurious head of soft, flowing curls. This hairstyle will emphasize your femininity, tenderness, hide some harshness or irregularity of facial features. In general, stylists have long noticed that long wavy hair makes a woman's face visually more beautiful and sophisticated. Perhaps that is why many women try to give them a wavy look: light curls in a romantic style or even intense "black" curls.

    However, the happy owners of natural curls, on the contrary, tend to straighten their hair. The point here is not only that all women want variety and novelty in everything that concerns external appearance... Curly hair needs more careful care and daily styling, otherwise the hairstyle will not look seductive, but shaggy and unkempt. In addition, curly hair is often naughty, it is not easy for them to give the desired shape, when styling it is necessary to use foam or gel. That said, naughty hair isn't unhealthy or weak. This willfulness concerns only their form, but not their inner state.

    Curly hair problems

    But the more serious issues are not so much with styling as with the health of curly hair. Their biggest problem is overdrying(in this case, the hair roots often quickly become oily).

    If curly hair has been dyed, bleached, straightened or dyed at least once perm, then they can already be called damaged. What can I say if you do it regularly! The more often you color curly hair, the more damaged it is and the longer it will take to completely restore the hair shaft sheath. Recall: a hair shaft is a trunk covered with peculiar scales that fit tightly to each other. In winter, with high humidity, the hair is able to significantly expand and swell due to the "porosity" of the upper scaly shell. The edges of the scales open, the gap between them grows, and a variety of substances that damage this shell fall under the open scales.

    For curly strands, this is also dangerous because the hair can begin to break in numerous bends. The use of potent chemical compounds (coloring, bleaching and perm) leads to the same results.

    Curly hair is also very susceptible to artificial heat (blow dry, use a special straightening iron) and bleach (extra drying). Therefore, the scalp can itch and flake off. And this is not dandruff (not a fungus), which requires immediate treatment, but a special sensitivity of the skin.

    Almost all curly hairs are tangled and split at the ends due to trauma due to improper combing.

    Unfortunately, their owners often lack the patience and time to properly and accurately care for them. The stratified hairs dangle along the back, touch the neighboring ones, and injure them mechanically. To prevent this from happening, a light protective film must be created on the surface of the hair. Below we will try to describe in detail the basic rules for caring for curly hair.

    The right choice of shampoo

    Choosing the right shampoo is important. If you have normal frizzy hair, you should use a frizzy shampoo. In other cases, it will be more correct to focus on the type of scalp (dry, oily, sensitive) and hair structure (thin or coarse). Shampoo for dry hair requiring softening and moisturizing should contain coconut oil extract, jojoba or licorice oil, cornflower, white lotus, witch hazel extracts. Thin, fragile, split strands need strengthening and protection: papain, horseradish, sage.

    There are tons of shampoos today. additional actions: increase or removal of volume, removal of static stress, ease of combing, etc. It is better to refuse from shampoos that give volume: they practically destroy wavy strands. Volumizing shampoos either lift the scales (compromising the hair's protection and leading to dehydration), or form a film on the surface (the thickening of each hair makes the hairstyle heavier). In either case, your already damaged hair becomes more brittle.

    The most important thing to evaluate when choosing a shampoo is its quality. The more natural, natural ingredients it contains, the better.

    Also, focus on your own feelings after washing: if you feel discomfort, irritation of the scalp or just the hair after washing will not seem very clean, this means that this shampoo is not suitable for you. It is not worth using such a shampoo to save money, it can cause significant damage to the hair.

    Choosing a balm or conditioner

    Balm is the main nourishing agent for hair. He kind of makes "patches" on the damaged hair shaft and provides additional nutrition. It is not suitable for caring for normal hair: it makes it heavier and deprives the hair of the volume. However, weakened curls cannot do without it. After all, shampoo, by its chemical composition, is a strong alkali, and balm is an acid that neutralizes and softens the stress of washing. Dry skin after the balm is moisturized and remains healthy, in addition, the hair is easier to comb.

    For normal types, it is best to choose a moisturizing conditioner: it will make it easier to comb your hair, make it softer and more manageable, and simplify styling.

    Proper washing and drying

    To wash curly hair, use soft water and try to avoid harsh water. Hair should not be washed in hot water, but cold water should also be avoided. The water should be slightly warm and the temperature should not cause discomfort. In the process of washing, do not vigorously rub the scalp, because, like hot water, this stimulates the work of the sebaceous glands.

    Frequent washing of curls is not harmful. The main thing is not to get carried away and realize that the hair should be washed as it gets dirty. If you have to wash them often, remember to choose special products that are suitable for frequent use.

    After washing, do not keep your hair in a towel for a long time, unless you use a special remedy that requires warmth. Also, curly hair should not be rubbed with a towel (they will become tangled, the outer keratin layer will suffer, and the ends will split even more).

    Ideal for wavy hair natural drying... If time permits, do not use a hairdryer - hot air dries out the hair and destroys its structure. If you still have to use a hair dryer, do not forget about thermal protection.

    After the strands are a little dry, gently comb them with a large comb with sparse teeth. It is advisable to use a good quality plastic hairbrush with an antistatic coating, because cheap, wood and metal combs are usually poorly polished and will only tear hair. Comb the hair from the ends, gradually going up to the roots. Wash your comb frequently to remove the grease layer.

    A haircut

    With curly hair, it is necessary to trim the ends at least once every 3 months, since the curls are more fragile, respectively, they can be split more strongly. If you have very dry curly hair, using high quality products is not enough. A shampoo or mask can only nourish, but cannot completely restore the structure of the split hair and prevent further exfoliation. Therefore, for weakened and heavily dried curly strands, a "haircut with hot scissors" is very effective - after it, the ends are like sealed, natural moisture stays inside and they no longer split.

    Styling

    For natural looking curls, use when styling own fingers, not a comb. If you have soft or coarse hair, then your styling needs a foam or gel, and to tame your naughty curls, apply wax to the ends of your hair, this will help to slightly weigh and correct them. And try to choose styling products specifically for curly hair.

    To create flowing curls, roll your slightly damp hair with high volume curlers. After removing the curlers, without combing the curls with a comb, run your fingers over them, using the styling gel, this will give them a natural look.

    In any case, if you are using styling products, remember to remove them before bed.

    Perfectly - wash your hair, if you have neither the strength nor the time for this, then comb your hair thoroughly. The exception is natural styling products.

    Despite the fact that curly hair needs careful care, it makes it possible to create huge amount hairstyles. If you need to quickly transform, it is enough, for example, just to make a low ponytail from the front strands, and now you have new hairstyle... The best haircut for curly hair is in layers. At the same time, the curls become more expressive, the strands seem thicker than they really are.

    Coloration

    Even natural dyes (henna, basma, coffee), improperly diluted, which often happens at home, help dry the hair. Factory dyes destroy the bonds in the hair structure. The strands can become more rigid, and this deficiency will take a long time to heal. It is best for owners of curly hair to switch to their natural shade, especially since it is fashionable now! If you are forced to paint your hair (for example, to paint over gray hair), use only gentle paints, which are best not containing ammonia. If funds permit, it is best to carry out the painting procedure in a good salon.

    Straightening

    If you do use a styler (iron) for straightening, try to do it infrequently, because using it breaks the structure and dries out your already dry hair. It is also not recommended to straighten curly hair if it is raining or high humidity outside the window. You will only waste your time, and give an extra load to your curls.

    Massage

    Massage your head once a week. It improves blood circulation and, when combined with an oil mask, gives good results. It is good to carry out at least once every six months a course of head massage in a beauty parlor, this procedure improves blood circulation to the scalp, improves the nutrition of the hair follicles and, as a result, enhances hair growth, makes them more elastic and elastic.

    Masks

    Masks glue the scales of the outer layer of the hair and protect it along its entire length. Therefore, it is very useful to periodically (on average, once every 7-10 days) apply nourishing, moisturizing or elasticizing masks to the hair.

    Cosmetologists advise to apply masks to improve elasticity, retreating 10 cm from the roots, and nourishing mixtures for the entire length of the hair.
