• Take a strip of tulle and fold it in half. We put the similarity of the loop obtained in this way under the elastic band and wrap it with a loop, and push the end of the tulle through this loop. We tighten the finished loop and align it so that the strip has a clearly vertical position.
• We do the same with the rest of the tulle strips. If you have a desire, you can experiment and try to make a tutu skirt. To do this, it is necessary to place the strips tightened with a loop at a slight angle to the elastic.

Advice. To make the skirt lush, use as many tulle stripes as possible, but do not overdo it, otherwise you may end up with an "accordion".

• If you wish, you can add a little green tulle stripes, as well as various accessories like a bow made of ribbon (you can either tie it around an elastic band, or sew a ribbon already tied with a bow on an elastic band).

A regular green T-shirt without various inscriptions and drawings can become a riding top for a New Year's costume. There is only one detail left - the headdress. The easiest option is to use a regular children's hoop without decorations, on which a small carrot-shaped decoration made of paper / fabric is glued. You can try a more complicated option - from a small piece of fabric gathered with an elastic band, we make a hat, and on its upper part we sew an imitation of green carrot tops. Completed work!

Paper carrot costume

The first step is to choose the paper that is suitable for the job - it must be dense enough and at the same time elastic so that no kinks are formed on the suit when the child moves. We measure the distance from the girl's shoulder to the waist and then cut out the base for the suit in the form of a trapezoid from the made paper blank. We place it wide side down. Then you can glue the edges (this must be done very carefully).

Advice. Before gluing the base together, be sure to make sure that the child fits into the suit and feels comfortable in it.

After the base is finally "approved", you can start painting it (we use, of course, paint for painting). The main color is orange, then add some black horizontal stripes for the flavor and authenticity of the image.

Carefully cut openings for the hands in the trapezoid. It remains only to make a cap for the head. We use the same paper in the form of a cone as a base, paint it orange and glue the cap. To keep it firmly on the head, we attach an elastic band to it. To do this, you need to make two small holes along the edges of the headdress and thread an elastic band through them.

We add the tops to the cap, using a thin wire as a base (we form a base from it in the form of a circle with "rays" extending from it) and small pieces of green fabric, which we sew on this base. All that remains is to attach the wire to the cap. The suit is ready!

Advice. Instead of paper, you can use foam rubber, which will serve as an excellent soft base for the suit and, by the way, may even be more comfortable for your child.

The foam base is made in exactly the same way as the paper one. And the usual green scarf can serve as tops. If you don't have a suitable ready-made accessory, try sewing a small frill or scarf yourself. It shouldn't be difficult. Instead of jewelry on the neck, you can make a headdress that imitates the tops of a hat, hoop, etc.
