- Print template
- Fold the tracing paper in half and, applying to the template at the "fold of the pattern" of the main main part of the mask, circle, outline the places for the eyebrows, muzzle, ears and cut along the outer contour.
- Do the same with the rest of the mask.
- Now place the finished parts from tracing paper on the prepared cardboard with seamy side and circle. Don't forget to cut out 2 ears (for this pattern).
- Prepare the ears of the bear. Paste light brown cardboard inside or paint. Bend the cut out ear from the bottom along the arrows to the dotted line and glue it so that it does not unfold, secure with paper clips until the glue dries. (see photo of the mask).
- Glue the muzzle according to the instructions on the template. It should come out with a hole for the tip of the nose).
- Glue the "teeth" part to it.
- Cut out the eyes (first try on tracing paper with the cut-out holes on the child's face, so that the distance between the eyes is convenient)
- Glue the eyebrows by gluing a piece of foam rubber or fabric between the mask and the part of the eyebrow so that the eyebrows protrude slightly and are voluminous.
- Let's start with the black tip of the nose: roll a ball of cotton wool or toilet paper and wrap a piece from a black bag, twist the end of the bag tightly with a spiral to make it like a cork and seal it with tape or tape. Put the twisted end into the hole for the nose and secure with tape from the inside of the mask.
- Glue the glued muzzle. Glue the finished dried ears along the marks on the inside of the mask, folds outward.
- We make the attachment to the head from two strips of brown, 3 cm wide and 30 cm long. Bend on each 2 cm from the edge and glue on the back of the mask at eye level, stepping back from them to the edges of 3 cm. Wrap the non-glued parts of the strips for strength with tape.
- Try on a bear mask on a child, and, putting the strips one on top of the other from behind, connect them with paper clips, and then with tape.

- We glue the bangs and attach the nose. Cut out two crescents out of white felt for the eye sockets. We glue them in diameter. Sew on the sides with an elastic band or tape cut from the same material as the muzzle.
The most important thing in this work is to correctly outline and then cut out the holes for the eyes. This voluminous mask for children does not restrict freedom of movement, it is not hot, it is convenient and comfortable.

Varieties
Before you get started, you need to decide what kind of mask you want to make. There are the following types:

What material are they made of?
Usually it is recommended to do it from papier-mâché, cardboard, fabric. Isolon is very popular at the moment. This is the material from which it is made. It is also used for insulation during construction work. It is durable, keeps its shape perfectly. The main thing is not as hard as cardboard. The possibilities of isolon are much wider in comparison with other materials. The mask is pretty simple to make. Cut out the parts from the isolon and connect them with a thermal gun, or with a stapler.
Before you start making a mask, pay attention to the following guidelines. If the role in the play requires a lot of singing or talking, then it is better to make a half mask that will cover only the cheeks and nose, and the mouth and chin will remain open.
The eyes on the mask should be in line. The larger the cut, the better the view will be. But first, try on the cutout eye-hole template to fit your face. The main thing is that everything fits.
About attaching the product to the head. If you plan that the mask will be held by the elastic, then make the holes through which it will be threaded at a distance of 1.5 centimeters from the edge of the mask. Laces, braid should not be used as a tie, since during the performance the ropes can be untied, and the mask will slide off the face.
Cumbersome masks are best avoided. Although they are very spectacular, they have poor visibility, and they also make it difficult to move and breathe.

Polar bear mask
If you make such a product, then you will greatly delight the little fans of the cartoon about the Umka bear. You can make the face of a white bear from a regular paper plate. You will need more cotton wool, corrugated paper white, a plastic cup, scotch tape, thin elastic band, colored paper(black and pink).
Punch holes for the eyes in the plate. Then proceed to the nose. Cut holes in the plate with a knife, the diameter of which should be equal to the lower half of the glass. Take the scotch tape. Insert the cup into the hole and secure it from the inside out. Pull the fluted paper into small pieces and crease them. Mask with front side paste over with shreds. Make the tip of the nose out of black paper. Draw the ears on the cardboard and cut out. Stick on pink paper, and paste around the edges in pieces corrugated paper... Let's start decorating the muzzle, or rather, its lower part. First of all, we will cut out an element for the cheeks from yellow paper. To make it fit in size - circle the lower silhouette of the mask on yellow paper, and then remove it and paint the upper part yourself.
We glue the lower part of the muzzle.
Then we cut the spout out of black paper.
We glue the spout to the bottom of the bear's face above the notch.
