DIY goat made of fabric. Create a goat doll. Gift bag goat

We form a very hard head from the foil. It is best to start with a small piece and add gradually to shape the head.

A little bit of foil on the ponytail.

And now we proceed to the most important highlight. We form foil titles. We tore off a piece of about 30 centimeters.

This is how we form. The main thing is not to squeeze the foil very much at once, but gradually to give the desired shape.

We glue it on a hot gun.

Now we glue the whole goat with masking tape. Small parts - small pieces of tape. Tear off the tape rather than cut it off.

We sculpt hooves from epoxylin. Cut off 0.5 mm from each block, remove the protective paper.

We connect to each other until a uniform color and soft plastic consistency. In general, it is recommended to work with him with gloves, but I can’t do anything with gloves, I need to feel. Natasha didn't want to either).

Roll into a sausage and cut into 4 pieces.

These are the hooves that Natasha formed. Can be done directly on the goat.

Dressed, straightened and waiting for the epoxylin to harden. But! Epoxylin tends to float, so we corrected it within an hour so that it does not creep. In general, it can be different. Sometimes it hardens quickly, but will you have time to form the hooves? In the future, when there is already skill, it is better to take it.

We cut the flax into small pieces of about 2 * 2 centimeters and glue the head with moment-crystal glue. You don't need a lot of glue. It turns out ugly when it shows through the fabric. Natasha chose milky linen to match the color of the fur.

And don't forget about the beard, the goat!

Pasted over the udder with pink jersey.

We wrap the tail and legs with woolen yarn, having previously greased the wire with glue. The tail is top-down, and the legs are down-up.

Cut off the fur measured to the size of the cylinder and glue it. Cut round pieces of fur on the chest and butt. We simulate directly on the model). We had to trim the fur a little, otherwise it would have covered the udder.

Cut out the ears and attach them to the wire (0.7 mm). We connect the two ends with pliers to make it easier to insert into the head.

First, we pierce the head with a thin awl, and then insert the ears. After that, you need to coat them with PVA glue, otherwise the flax may crumble.

Sew the beads onto pieces of flax, and then glue them to the face.

Making horns. Stretching the tape, wrap it in the shape of horns.

And bend it slightly.

We paint as you like. We first dyed it light brown, and then painted on the stripes black paint... Covered with varnish.

Using an awl and a hot gun, insert it into place.

Cut off three small pieces of black or brown thread and glue it to the face.

Hello goat!

It remains only to tint. We tinted the face with blush, and the fur with pastels.

Don't forget the bell!

Beautiful!

And here is Natashechka! Tired, but happy, with a homemade goat!)

Today we will make a nice and interesting souvenir with you in the form do it yourself goats from ordinary bulbs. Soon New Year, this year will be the year of the goat, perhaps someone wants to make such a souvenir in the form of a goat for themselves or their relatives, the author of this master class is Yulia Galeeva. Looking at this wonderful goat, I just want to create for myself exactly the same. After all, you can do it not necessarily for the New Year, but just like that. Let's review with you interesting master a class for making a goat with your own hands.

To make a souvenir of a goat, we need:

* Light bulbs.
* Wire.
* Paper scotch tape.
* Acrylic paints.
* Papier mache.

DIY method of making a goat:
First, we need to prepare papier-mâché. We take cheap, gray, toilet paper and PVA glue. And we begin to make a lot, you can do it in small portions, but then it will be more convenient for someone to work.

We take paper and tear it into small pieces and then mix it into PVA glue. As it begins to thicken then you can knead it with your hands.

You should get a mass that is somewhat similar to cottage cheese, the main thing is that it is not too liquid, otherwise it will be strongly deformed after drying.

Papier-mache is ready, let's start making our goat. We take light bulbs and wire. We will immediately cut the wire into pieces from which we will then make horns and legs.

We will also prepare a piece of wire for making a neck.

Now we begin to collect all this in such a structure and wrap it with paper tape for strength. In addition, papier-mâché fits better on such an adhesive tape. The ears are made of scotch tape, but you can also make them out of cardboard.

We begin to gradually apply the papier-mâché mass to our structure in parts. First on the torso, and then on the head.

When our entire goat is covered with the first layer of papier-mâché, we need to give the figure time to dry and then apply another thin layer of papier-mâché. Then dry well.

When it's dry, we'll skin our figurine so that it is even and beautiful.

Now we look where there is not enough volume and add where we deem necessary. Dry. Take a sharp knife and cut out the hooves so that they are bifurcated.

Julia's horns turned out to be somehow flimsy and therefore she strengthened them with a newspaper.

Also, do not forget about the small details on the face.

You also need to remember to do a hairstyle, apply the mass and until it dries we make notches on it using a plastic plasticine knife.

Now we need to make a costume for our goat. We make a paper layer, and we will make a suit from it.

Gently coat one layer of paper, then glue, next leaf on top and coat again, then paper and glue again. It is better to take a little glue, otherwise the paper will tear.

Can be bent.

Now we cut out the suit.

Gently start gluing. We do everything quickly, as the paper layer dries quickly and loses its plasticity.

Well, that's all, the do-it-yourself goat is almost ready. Now we dry, in places where you need to skin and you can paint))

Here we have such a cute goat, the height with horns is 18-19 cm.

Would you like to sew a soft fabric souvenir? Thinking about which idea to choose? A lamb and a goat with their own hands are easy to do. Take the template. Use it to complete the details. Make a few stitches, and your beautiful accessory ready for home.

DIY goat: patterns

If you decide to sew a soft animal souvenir, you will need a template. You can take it ready-made or build the parts yourself. If you have chosen a sample you like, just print it on a printer at the desired scale. Even if the image is not of very good quality, you can still trace the contours. Another way is to attach the glass to the monitor and transfer the patterns to the film glued to it.

A do-it-yourself goat can be made in different ways. There are simple and complex options. If you are not too experienced in this business, with fewer details.

The diagram usually has legend... Dotted lines indicate the places of folds or attachments of other elements. In complex multi-piece templates, colored dots can indicate the connection points of parts. If you need to make two identical pieces, it is better to make them in one go on the fabric folded in half.

Animal souvenirs

A do-it-yourself soft toy (goat) is made in several ways. Choose any according to your level of training. The first photo below shows a simple option. Such a thing is easy to make according to pattern # 2 from the previous section. You can simplify it even more by making it flat, when two identical parts of the sidewalls are simply stitched together. The legs in this case will be located together. If you need a souvenir that you can hang, then this method is fine.

As for the material, any material is used, even calico or chintz, if you are making a decorative thing. Bright colored details will appeal to the child if it is a toy for him.

It will take more time, effort and patience to make a realistic animal. The material should also be chosen appropriate, with a soft, fleecy surface. It could be artificial fur... Horns and hooves are best made from something else, such as fleece. The eyes can be bought ready-made in a craft store or use dark beads. Sewing a goat with your own hands is actually not very difficult.

Less realistic, but just as cute a souvenir will turn out if you use the idea from the next photo. You can even make a beautiful outfit for an upright animal. Such a toy will be a beautiful pendant for a child's room.

Goat applique

If you are not very confident in your abilities and doubt that you can cope with a voluminous product, try decorating an object with fabric applique. Such a do-it-yourself goat is quite simple. So you can decorate a pillow, bag, furniture cover, stool seat, napkin, bedspread, or make a wall panel.

Soft sheep toy (simple options)

If, in addition to the goat, you also decide to make a lamb, use the following patterns.

A domestic goat, that of a kid, that of an adult, always remains a curious and restive animal. The habit of eating grass from the upper rows, without looking at how the cows do, takes root under their feet from an early age, and it is almost impossible to change the animal's attitude to the selection of food. For pasture or meadow grazing, this feeding style does not really matter, but in the autumn-winter period you need to think about how to make a feeder for goats, otherwise half of the hay will simply be lost and thrown onto the litter.

What does the construction of a goat feeder give

It would seem that the easiest way is not to clutter up the barn with all kinds of structures and devices, it is better to free up space for the goats, to give them the opportunity to move freely around the pen. In fact, the use of even the simplest feeders can greatly simplify the care of animals:

  • If without the use of feeders for goats for hay, irretrievable loss of feed was up to 45-50%, then after installation, the consumption of grass and chopped vegetables amounted to 67-69%;
  • The use of a photo feeder for goats reduces the time for dispensing food and cleaning the premises by an average of 2.5-3 times.

Important! Not all models are equally effective and convenient to use, but for the most part they allow you to get rid of the habit of animals pulling out stems, hay and beets from the container and scatter everything, eating at best half of the pulled out food.

The greatest effect is achieved with the differentiated use of feeding devices and devices. For example, for a flock of goats different ages, if adult animals are kept with the kids, a feeder with several sectors will be required so that the kids cannot jump into the food container and do not stain the hay and root crops. In some cases, several kids can make the whole herd refuse to eat. Therefore, it is not enough to make a container for food, you need to figure out how to make a feeder for a goat with your own hands so that its size and shape are equally suitable for an adult animal and for a kid.

Typical structures for feeding a goat herd

Building a goat feeder with your own hands is no more difficult than for any other animal. Traditionally, frame and box structures were made of wood, but for a large herd it is more rational to make feeders from galvanized metal. They are more durable and easier to maintain.

The main part of the most successful designs of feeders can be conditionally divided into several types:

  • Sectional feeder for mixed livestock;
  • Children's options for one or two kids;
  • Collapsible feeder for a large number of animals in the enclosure;
  • Nursery for young and adult goats;
  • Trough for crushed and chopped feed from root crops and herbs.

Each owner of a goat herd often independently comes up with their own feeding options, observing the habits and habits of the animals. Today, even with large herds, it is common for owners to abandon the traditional laying on the ground or low stands.

Important! The goat is quite squeamish by nature, therefore, on a pasture or in a home paddock, the goat loves to pick up the tops of food, grass, hay, as the cleanest.

Therefore, do-it-yourself feeders for goats built, photos, are always raised to a height of at least 35-40 cm for crushed feed, and a feeder for hay for goats rises by 70-90 cm.

Sector goat feeder

The design shown in the photo allows you to feed several categories of animals at once - kids, goats and goats.

All animals differ in the size of the head, neck and height at the withers. It is not difficult to build goat feeders with your own hands using photos and drawings, you can even improve the design by making it double-sided. Each cell or sector has its own dimensions, calculated for a certain size of the animal. Thus, the situation is excluded when some of the animals may not eat up or lose food.

For the manufacture of sectors, you will need a sheet of chipboard or OSB, pine beams, a hand saw or jigsaw, a screwdriver and self-tapping screws from 25 to 70 mm in length. First, you need to assemble the frame of the feeder from a bar, the width of the feed compartment is no more than 30 cm, with wider containers, the animals simply will not reach the feed.

The front wall is stuffed from separate fragments cut from wooden planks or OSB scraps. If you wish, you can make a wall of a goat feeder with your own hands, a photo in the form of one continuous panel. One of the options for making a do-it-yourself goat feeder is shown in the video:

In this design, feed and hay are practically not consumed on bedding, which cannot be said about the next option.

Hay feeders

Hay and grasses are lost most of all when feeding animals, while goats are in no hurry to throw solid and chopped feed under their feet on the ground due to their dense consistency. The animal, as a rule, gets used to the fact that it is necessary to break off the grass, grabbing it with its teeth and helping itself with the characteristic movement of its neck. With this method of picking the grass, the goats pull out a fair amount of dry grass under their feet.

The best way to combat the wasteful habit is to get the goats to eat from a tall, fenced-in feeder or nursery.

For the manufacture of such a structure, you will need boards and wooden slats. A pallet, transverse and side racks are knocked down from the boards. The front part of the trough is sewn up with a rail with a pitch of 10-12 cm. For assembly, use short self-tapping screws. After screwing in the fasteners, check if the sharp noses of the self-tapping screws have pierced the strips right through, in this case the point must be cut with a grinder and sanded with emery. The front planks are best made from hard wood - oak or acacia, cleaned and sanded white, but not covered with paint, linseed oil or impregnations, as out of curiosity goats like to taste everything.

The pallet only needs to be raised to a height inaccessible to the kids. For them, you can make your own feeders with a small distance between the slats. In this case, for each group of animals it will be possible to make its own diet and its own set of feeds.

In the photo below, you can see how to make a goat nursery feeder from a chain-link. The easiest way is to sew up the feeder with a steel mesh, the small size of the mesh will not allow the goats to pull the hay to the floor.

Manger and trellis structures can be used to feed goats for walking and grazing, when there is not enough pasture, or the owners want to protect the lawn, the local area from being trampled and devoured by curious animals.

Hay in such feeders does not rot and does not dampen due to airing with air currents, and the large volume of the bunker under the grass makes it possible to load feed once a day.

Goat Feeder Options

For young animals, you can make a box for groundbait with chopped and granulated feed. The box can be made of plywood or OSB, the front plane can be sewn up with a mesh, and the back one can be closed with a sheet of plexiglass or transparent polycarbonate. This will make it possible to control the amount of feed in the box. To load the feed, the top cover is attached with rubber hinges, the glass can be removable for easy cleaning and cleaning of the feeder.

For growing goats and young animals kept separately from the herd, personal feeders are often made from plastic barrels, photo.

From one 50-liter plastic barrel, you can make two feeders at once. To do this, the barrel is cut in a zigzag pattern, the edges are carefully cleaned and reinforced on a foundation of a pair of cinder blocks. The inner space of the trough is separated by a wire mesh made of soft, annealed six-millimeter wire rod. A single portion of hay is placed in the feed compartment for one goat, while the size of the barrel allows several animals to use the feeder at the same time.

In the bottom part, a hole is necessarily cut out for garbage collection and water removal after washing, since young goats and kids, despite all the tricks, still climb with their front legs on the stand. Plastic can be considered the most convenient for building all kinds of containers for storing and distributing feed. The low weight allows you to take out the feeders to the corral, to graze, or just leave it in the rain, without much fear of getting the material wet. Goats, who love to taste everything, usually bypass the plastic side due to the pungent smell of PVC.

For feeding young goats and kids in the pen, you can build a bird feeder.

For manufacturing, you can use planks and trims of wooden pallets. The first step is to build the base of the trough. The stand can be cut from plywood, but it is best to use a regular lining or edged board, 20 mm thick. The planks are sewn together by stuffing a pair of bars, the legs are nailed down and the stand is supplemented with a small side so that some of the grass is not thrown onto the ground by the goat. A feed hopper is installed in the central part of the trough. It can be made from a barrel, an old tank, or assembled from scraps of OSB slabs on self-tapping screws.

Feed dispensers do not have to be made of wood or plastic, if you are breeding goats on a more or less permanent basis, it makes sense to build a metal cone-type feeder.

Relatively simple circuit made of two steel sheets welded with a wedge. The feed hopper is mounted on a steel corner frame. Legs and an axle for removable wheels are welded to the pallet. This design can be used for hay or mixed chopped feed. Metal surface allows you to wash the dispenser with a high pressure washer, steam and disinfect in the event of a visit from mice, rats or an outbreak of diseases in animals.

Ordinary feeders for corrals and stables

It is not difficult to feed three or four goats, and one or two relatively small structures can be dispensed with. It's another matter if you have to provide feeding for the whole herd.

For example, for dairy goats kept in a stall, evening or morning feeding is easiest to organize with the help of folding senniks.

The trough is ideal for a small herd of goats and can be filled with hay or grass in a matter of minutes. Thanks to the tilt-back design, you can enter the pen and clean the area without having to move or drag the floor boxes. Chopped root crops and compound feed can be added through trays in the lower part of the structure.

The double-sided version of the feeder can be installed in a summer pen for feeding goats in the spring.

Conclusion

The construction of a feeder does not present any particular problems for a person familiar with joinery or carpentry. On the farm there are always boards, wooden beams and slats, from which you can build a very simple, convenient feeder. Even in the case when there is a large herd of goats, or for a dairy farm, building feeders with your own hands from a bar will be much cheaper than purchased branded options.
