Modern approaches to patriotic education in preschool educational institutions

This article is intended for parents before school age and preschool educators.

Relevance of the topic. Today, one of the most pressing problems is the upbringing of patriotism in children. Preschool educational institutions are the very first link in the education system. They are designed to form in children a basic idea of the world around us, of man's attitude to nature, to his small homeland, to his Fatherland. To do this, you need to identify moral guidelines that can evoke feelings of unity and self-respect.

In the past few years, significant changes have taken place in our country. They concern moral values, attitude to historical events in our country, to famous personalities. People's attitude towards the Motherland has changed. Previously, we heard and sang the hymns of our country much more often, and today they often speak negatively about it. Difficulties in the transition period are precisely the reason for the suspension of civil-patriotic education. Whatever changes in society, the upbringing of tender feelings for their country in the younger generation, pride in it, is necessary at all times. If we want our children to love their country, city, we should show it from an attractive side.

Patriotism is a manifestation of love not only for a beautiful and strong, powerful country, but also for a country in a difficult situation: misunderstanding, poverty, discord, or military conflicts. The upbringing of patriotism, citizenship, responsibility for the fate of their country today is becoming one of the most important tasks of education.

K. D. Ushinsky wrote that "A child has nothing to deny, he needs positive food, only a person who does not understand the needs of childhood can feed him with hatred, despair and contempt."

Realizing the importance of this issue, one of the most important directions in the preschool educational institution is work on civil-patriotic education, this task is included in the annual plan.

The patriotic feeling is multifaceted in its content. This is love for one's family, native places, pride in the people, a sense of one's connection with the outside world, the desire to preserve and increase the wealth of the country. Therefore, the task of teachers:

Raising children's love, affection for home, family, street, kindergarten, city;

Formation of a caring attitude to animate and inanimate nature;

Fostering respect for someone else's and one's own work;

Development of interest in Russian crafts and traditions;

Building basic knowledge of human rights;

Expanding existing ideas about your city;

Acquaintance of pupils with state symbols (flag, coat of arms, anthem);

Fostering a sense of pride, responsibility for the achievements of your country;

Formation of respect, tolerance for all peoples with their traditions.

Respect, tolerance, acceptance and correct interpretation of world cultures should be instilled at an early age, i.e. v kindergarten... Respectful and respectful attitude to representatives of all cultures is a prerequisite for tolerant upbringing, and in kindergarten, educators should convey this to children that all people are equal in their rights and dignity, although they differ in their natural characteristics.

The problem of tolerant education is relevant today, because it is in the past few years that significant changes have been taking place in the political, economic and cultural life of the country. Tolerance is nurtured through the development of good manners, habits, a culture of interpersonal communication in a world of dissimilar people.

The solution of these problems occurs in all types of activities of children in preschool educational institutions: in games, in work, in educational, in everyday life, in joint activities children and educators.

The upbringing of patriotic feelings is a long, complex, continuous process, which implies the adjustment of existing developments of measures at further stages of work, depending on the results obtained. Work in the direction of civil-patriotic education is carried out in the following areas:

1. Accompanying methodological auxiliary resources;

2. Working with children;

3. Working with parents.

All these areas are interconnected and include:

Acquaintance with your city, its history;

Acquaintance with Russia and native land;

Acquaintance with historical events their people and country;

Acquaintance with the heroes of epics and their exploits;

Acquaintance with the symbols of the state, republic, city.

Methodological support

Formation of a subject-developing environment of a patriotic orientation:

There are stands in the lobby of the kindergarten: "My country", "My city";

Groups have a set didactic games: "Military equipment", "Find the flag of Russia", "Defenders of Russia", etc .;

A selection of fiction and methodological literature has been made, through which children can receive information about exploits during the Second World War, about Russia and its army, etc.;

Thematic planning contributes to the systematic assimilation by preschoolers of knowledge about the country, region, area where they live. The themes are repeated in each group. Only the volume of cognitive material, the content and complexity, the duration of the study, depending on the age of the children in the group, change.

Working on the topic of patriotic education at preschool educational institutions, we must remember about the events that are taking place. For example, the Sochi 2014 Olympics went down in history - children should be proud of our athletes and their country.

Work with personnel. The goal of methodical work with personnel is to improve work of the preschool educational institution on the problem of patriotic education. A personal example, a teacher's worldview, judgments, life position are the most effective factors of upbringing. The educator's knowledge will not be effective if he himself does not love his country, people, city. In upbringing, it all comes down to the personality of the educator.

Work with children

Patriotic education in a preschool educational institution is closely interconnected with mental, moral, labor, environmental, aesthetic and physical education.

Civil patriotic education- this is one of the main and difficult tasks of a preschool institution. The problem is difficult in its solution due to age characteristics children. Indeed, in the preschool age, not a single moral quality is finally formed, but only emerges. Fostering patriotic feelings in preschoolers is a complex and lengthy process that requires significant personal conviction from teachers. This work must be carried out in all age groups, types of activities and in all areas.

The teacher's task:

Selection of objects, the impressions of which can be accessed by children. Episodes should attract the attention of children, be specific, imaginative, vivid, expedient, arouse interest, be unique, characteristic of a given area (their traditions, nature, crafts, life);

Selection of concepts and information that a preschooler can learn (frequency of visits, proximity to location, convenience);

Expanding the range of objects for older preschoolers - this is the district, the city as a whole, its historical and memorable places, sights, symbols. Older preschoolers should know: the name of the city, their own and the nearest street, after whom they are named;

Instilling in children the concepts of "duty to the Motherland", "hatred of the enemy", "love of the Motherland", "front-line and labor feat";

acquaintance with other cities, the capital, symbols of the state;

Showing big through small how the activity of one person is connected with the life of all people.

Communication between the educator and other specialists of the preschool educational institution

Speech therapist - learns sentences, nursery rhymes, tongue twisters, folk humorous rhymes with the pupils, shows the beauty and richness of the native language;

Physical education instructor organizes and conducts outdoor games different nations country.

The musical director learns Russian folk songs with the pupils, introduces them to folk music, conducts patriotic and folklore holidays;

Educators on Monday conduct obligatory conversations "How was your weekend?" - this is how love and affection for the family is brought up. During the week, conversations are held "Who needs help and how to get it?", "What new poems or stories from Russian writers have you heard?"

The purpose of this work is to create conditions for the reflection of the knowledge and ideas acquired by children in various activities of children.

Festive events are held in the preschool every year

Folk and folklore holidays: Maslenitsa, Defender of the Fatherland Day, New Year, Victory Day, Cosmonautics Day, Knowledge Day, City Day.

Between folk holidays- Children's Day, Mother's Day, International Women's Day.

Orthodox holidays - Easter, Christmas.

Household and family holidays - school graduation, birthdays.

Holidays are accompanied by good music, colorful decoration of the hall, promenade verandas, groups, story games, and various surprises.

Orthodox holidays and ceremonies are a source of knowledge of the people's soul, wisdom, traditions and way of life of our people.

In introducing a child to folk culture, folk holidays play a special role as an expression of national character, a vivid form of recreation for children and adults united by joint actions.

There is a tradition in our kindergarten: on the eve of the Victory Day with older children and preparatory groups we go to the eternal fire to bow to the fallen soldiers and lay flowers in gratitude. After such events, children are inspired to new drawings, games, stories.

Civil-patriotic education takes place in the process of activity, during which collective relations between people are formed. In teaching and work, the spiritual and physical strength of a person develops, a sense of duty and responsibility for the task entrusted, for their successes and the successes of the team is formed, character is formed, the will is strengthened.

The game simulates situations similar to life, which require a certain line of behavior, mutual understanding, mutual assistance, companionship from athletes.

Working with parents

An important condition for the introduction of patriotic education in preschoolers is the relationship with the preschooler's family. Today this work is relevant and difficult, it requires patience and tact, since in modern families the issue of fostering patriotism is not always considered important and causes bewilderment.

So that work with parents does not remain within the framework of pedagogical education, we involve them in the process of patriotic education through interaction: the inclusion of children and parents in a common cause (participation in projects, games, competitions).

Therefore, the subject of conversation with parents should be a discussion of different ways of introducing preschoolers to work (manual, household, work in nature), to active participation in preparing for the holidays and rest. Only if the child shares the concerns of an adult, takes on their feasible part, strives to do something for others, the baby will feel like a member of the family.

It has already become a tradition to hold competitions for the best winter and summer grounds, when parents jointly create snow structures for their children, slides, and help to plant greenery. Looking at them, children try to put their own contribution into the common cause themselves.

Family excursions around the city, the microdistrict, visits to individual enterprises and premises, the organization of photo exhibitions and drawings, and other projects "Children-Parents" are of great importance.

A family study of their ancestry allows children to understand that the family is the unit of society.

So, patriotic education in a preschool institution is the process of forming a conscientious person who loves his homeland, the land where he was born and grew up, who is proud of the historical achievements of his people, their culture.

"Moral and patriotic education of senior preschoolers on the example of the Great Patriotic War"

One of the most urgent tasks of our time is the patriotic education of the younger generation. Patriotism is love for your homeland and your people.

Unfortunately, today's children have a superficial understanding of the events of the historical past of our country. In solving this problem, a large role is assigned to preschool education, since it is in the preschool age that the foundations of the moral qualities of the child are laid. In this regard, the collective of teachers of the preschool institution is faced with the tasks of forming citizenship in children, a feeling of love and pride for their homeland through the construction of an optimal pedagogical system.

In preparation for the celebration of the great date - the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the education of patriotism in children is of particular importance. We must not forget those who defended the freedom and independence of our people, and turn into "Ivanov who do not remember kinship." The Great Patriotic War is undoubtedly the most striking example of the manifestation of the heroism and patriotism of the Russian people.

In the project "National Doctrine of Education in Russian Federation"it is emphasized that" the education system is designed to provide<...>education of patriots of Russia, citizens of a legal democratic, social state, respecting the rights and freedoms of the individual, possessing high morality and showing national and religious tolerance. "

Much has been written about the importance of introducing a child to the culture of his people, since an appeal to the paternal heritage fosters respect, pride in the land on which you live. Therefore, children need to know and study the culture of their ancestors. It is the emphasis on knowledge of the history of the people, its culture that will help in the future with respect and interest in the cultural traditions of other peoples.

Thus, the moral and patriotic education of children is one of the main tasks of a preschool educational institution.

It should be emphasized that at present there is a lot of methodological literature on this issue. Often, it covers only certain aspects of the moral and patriotic education of children in specific types of activity, and there is no harmonious system that reflects the entirety of this issue. Apparently, this is natural, since the feeling of patriotism is multifaceted in content. This is love for their native places, pride in their people, and the feeling of their inseparability with the world around them, and the desire to preserve and increase the wealth of their country.

Based on this, this work includes a whole range of tasks:
- raising a child's love and affection for his family, home, kindergarten, street, city;
- the formation of a respectful attitude towards nature and all living things;
- fostering respect for work;
- development of interest in Russian traditions and crafts;
- formation of basic knowledge about human rights;
- expansion of ideas about the cities of Russia;
- acquaintance of children with the symbols of the state (coat of arms, flag, anthem);
- developing a sense of responsibility and pride in the country's achievements;
- the formation of tolerance, a sense of respect for other peoples, their traditions.

These tasks are solved in all types of children's activities: in the classroom, in games, at work, in everyday life - since they bring up in the child not only patriotic feelings, but also form his relationship with adults and peers.

Moral and patriotic education of a child is a complex pedagogical process. It is based on the development of moral feelings.

Feeling of the Motherland ... It begins with a child's attitude to the family, to the closest people - to mother, father, grandmother, grandfather. These are the roots that connect him with his home and immediate environment.

In 2015, Russia will celebrate 70 years since the end of the Great Patriotic War. The always topical question of the formation of the prerequisites for moral and patriotic education in preschoolers acquires special significance on the eve of this most important event.

There are fewer and fewer living witnesses of those terrible days who could tell the younger generation about the events of the great battle of the Russian people for the liberation of their country, about the exploits of soldiers and ordinary citizens at the fronts and in the rear. The direct responsibility of adults is to help preserve the memory of the heroic facts of our history, to instill pride in their Motherland among young citizens. After all, memory has no age, and civic position and love for one's country do not arise suddenly, out of nowhere.

The Great Patriotic War is an important event in the life of our Motherland. How to teach children to remember the defenders of the Motherland, who defended their native land, is proud of courage, heroism, steadfastness of Soviet soldiers and officers, dedication of home front workers - women, old people and children? Where to get this knowledge to pass on to children? The primary source, of course, is the person himself. But time pushes the events of the Great Patriotic War further and further and, unfortunately, its veterans are fewer and fewer every year. The patterns of human life are such that soon they will not be left at all. It is very important right now not to interrupt the living thread of memory of the heroic deed of our people in those years, and to cherish the germs of memory of great-grandfathers and their courage at preschool age. The purpose of our work: the formation of a conscious attitude in children to the Victory Day as a result of the heroic deed of the people in the Great Patriotic War.

Tasks:

    Show the children at what cost the Victory was achieved, how difficult the steps towards it were. To acquaint children with the main events and memorable dates in the history of the country during the Great Patriotic War, to acquaint with the concept of "the banner of Victory"; To acquaint children with how the inhabitants of Leningrad fought on the fields of the Great Patriotic War and worked in the rear, bringing Victory closer, how the inhabitants of Leningrad survived the blockade of the city. Give an idea of the monuments erected in honor of the victorious warriors. To acquaint children with works of art dedicated to the theme of the Great Patriotic War, defenders, home front workers, children of war. Tell about the life of children during the war; To foster respect for veterans of the Great Patriotic War. To foster patriotism and high moral qualities in preschoolers, the desire to defend their homeland and protect the world. To hold a holiday dedicated to Victory Day with the invitation of veterans, relatives of children.

As a result of this work:

    In older children preschool age a conscious attitude to the Victory Day will be formed. They will take part with a great desire in all festive events dedicated to this day. Veterans will be treated with respect and gratitude.

Usage information and communication technologies working with children gives them the opportunity to acquaint them with the monuments of the Great Patriotic War, located in any part of our city.
Excursions and walks to these monuments provide an opportunity to show children the heroism that our people showed in defending their homeland, using vivid examples.
Of great importance in the education of patriotism and the formation of historical consciousness is fiction ... Well-chosen stories and stories allow, starting from senior preschool age, to foster the consciousness that courage shown in battles in defending the Motherland is inherent in people only of high duty, patriots of the Fatherland. High moral ideals are reflected in works about the Great Patriotic War, in which the meaning of human life is seen as serving people and the Fatherland. Listening to excerpts from works, children empathize with the characters, worry; for the first time they realize the cruelty and mercilessness of war towards ordinary people, they are indignant against fascism, attacks on civilians, they receive the first knowledge about the equality of all races and nationalities. Poems about the Great Patriotic War are an important component of patriotic education. They tell about the exploits and courage of the soldiers who defended their land, who did not spare themselves in the struggle - they are a highly artistic means of education. The power of the rhythmic poetic word acts on the consciousness of children inspiring.
An equally important form of raising children is patriotic song ... The theme of “Defenders of the Fatherland” is of particular importance in the framework of moral and patriotic education. This topic is very beloved by children, especially since the bulk of our pupils are boys. The songs of this theme are easily remembered by the guys. Especially popular with them are "Brave Soldiers", muses. A. Filippenko and “We will serve in the army”, muses. Y. Chichkova. They are written at the pace of the march, their content is consonant with the desire of the guys to be strong and courageous as defenders of our Motherland. Since music is capable of influencing the feelings, moods of a child, insofar as it is capable of transforming his moral and spiritual world... When acquainting with songs on the theme of the Great Victory "Victory Day" music by D. Tukhmanov. sl. V. Kharitonov, "Get up, the country is huge" music and words by V. Lebedev-Kumach, the greatness of the feat of the Soviet soldier is revealed to preschoolers. Musical impressions of preschoolers are based on the knowledge gained in the classroom to familiarize themselves with the environment, on the impressions of excursions to the monuments of the fallen soldiers.
Organized by the holidays exhibitions of drawings on military themes: "Where does the Motherland begin", "Victory salute", "My great-grandfather is a veteran of the Great Patriotic War", "Flowers to the winners", "We are for peace." The drawings reflect all the knowledge of children, gained in the course of work to familiarize themselves with the historical past of our city and country during the Great Patriotic War.

Knowledge of the history of the native city, country, is necessary for the formation of a growing person's civic position, fostering love for the "small" Motherland and Fatherland, pride in the people whose works and talents Russia is glorious, a sense of belonging to the past, present and future of our people. A preschool educational institution, being the initial link in the education system, is designed to form in children the first idea of the world around them, their attitude to their native nature, their small homeland, their Fatherland.

With the aim of the patriotic education of preschool children, using the example of the events of the Great Patriotic War, the development of moral and patriotic feelings in children, it is possible to develop the project "Moral and patriotic education of preschoolers based on the formation of ideas about the Great Patriotic War and the people who won victory at the front and in the rear."

Based on these goals, set the following tasks:

· Develop an interest in the history of your country, the events of past years;

· To generalize and systematize the knowledge of children about the events of the Great Patriotic War;

· To foster respect for the participants of the Great Patriotic War as defenders of the Motherland;

· To acquaint with the monuments and memorable places associated with the events of the Great Patriotic War;

· Tell children about military professions, military branches, military equipment.

The project participants are children, their parents, educators, music director, physical education instructor.

The type of project can be characterized as information-practice-oriented. That is, the information and impressions received by children in the process of acquaintance with documentary and historical events from the history of Russia are reflected in various types of children's activities - play, visual and artistic creativity, in the creation of collections, mini-museums, exhibitions and expositions with the active participation teachers and parents.

Formation of ideas among preschoolers about the Great Patriotic War is a difficult and painstaking work. She means conscious the child's understanding of the events of past years under the guidance and with the help of an adult. The following is proposed model of educational-methodical complex:

· Special classes to arouse children's interest in the events of the Second World War;

· Creation of a subject-developing environment in the group;

· Various games aimed at consolidating children's knowledge about the Second World War;

· Organization of excursions to memorable places and along the streets named after the heroes of the Great Patriotic War;

· Enrichment of children's knowledge about the Second World War through fiction;

· Holidays, leisure, sports events that contribute to the development of a feeling of love for the Motherland and pride in it;

· Interaction with family;

· Inclusion of elements of work on the formation of ideas about the Second World War in various types of activities and in daily activities.

Special attention should be paid to creating mini-museums in the group and in the preschool educational institution.

Mini - museum may include the following exhibition sections:

· Fiction for children on military topics;

· Albums: "Military equipment", "War machines", "The sky for the brave", "Heroes of the Soviet Union", "Orders and medals of the Great Patriotic War";

· Illustrations on the theme "The Great Patriotic War";

· Collection of awards;

· Collection of toy military equipment and weapons.

In a preschool educational institution, you can create Museum of "Battle Glory", a corner of memory "No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten."

With the help of parents in the group, you can create thematic libraries "For children about the war", "Poems for children", issue replaceable exhibitions of reproductions of paintings Soviet artists K. Vasiliev, M. Samsonov, K. Yuon, S. Gerasimov, A. Deineka on the themes of "everyday life", "We remember heroes", "Everything for the front, everything for victory" (about workers in the rear).

Some families have preserved gramophone records with songs of the war years, old photographs of grandparents, items of military uniform and soldier's life, military awards. All this can be used to create corners of memory and mini-museums.

In the process of creating a mini-museum, consider the following principles:

integration- mini-museum should take into account the content

the educational program of the preschool educational institution and help in the implementation of its general tasks and tasks of certain educational areas, in particular, "Social and communicative development", to foster patriotic feelings in children;

activity and interactivity- mini-museums should provide pupils with the opportunity to realize themselves in various types of children's activities (use exhibits in role-playing games, create crafts and include them in the general exposition, etc.);

conformity to nature- a mini-museum should be created taking into account

psychophysiological characteristics of children of different ages and provide conditions for the disclosure of the creative potential of each child;

scientific–The presented exhibits should reliably reflect the theme of the mini-museum, explain the various processes and phenomena within the framework of the chosen topic in a scientific and at the same time accessible language for the child;

for the all-round development of the child, encouraging his initiative, creative activity within the framework of subject-subject relations in the "adult-child", "child-child" system;

cultural conformity- a mini-museum should be focused on familiarizing children with world culture, universal values through the development of values and norms national culture in the course of direct educational activities in the museum space;

diversity- filling the mini-museum with exhibits, different in form, content, size, reflecting the historical, natural and cultural diversity of the surrounding world;

regional component- a mini-museum should provide

organization of work with children to familiarize them with the cultural heritage of the region, as well as the culture of other peoples, which contributes to the development of tolerance and the formation of a sense of patriotism.

An important feature of the mini-museum at the preschool educational institution is the participation of children and parents in its creation. Preschoolers feel their involvement in the common cause. In real museums, you cannot touch anything, but in a mini-museum it is not only possible, but also necessary. It is convenient to visit it every day, you can independently change, rearrange the exhibits, pick them up and examine them. In an ordinary museum, a child is only a passive contemplator, but here he is a co-author, creator of the exposition. Moreover, not only he himself, but also his dad, mom, grandmother and grandfather. The mini-museum is the result of communication, working together educator, children and their families.

In moral and patriotic education, the example of adults, especially close people, is of great importance. On specific facts from

life of senior family members (grandparents, participants in the Great Patriotic War, their front-line and labor exploits) it is necessary

instill in children such important concepts as "duty to the Motherland", "love for the Fatherland", "hatred for the enemy", "labor feat", etc. It is important to bring the child to the understanding that we won because we love our Motherland, The Motherland honors its heroes who gave their lives for the happiness of people. Their names are immortalized in the names of cities, streets, squares, monuments have been erected in their honor.

You can use different types of activities of children, as well as different forms of work with children.

1. Integrated classes on the topics: “Children are heroes of the Great Patriotic War”, “What is war? "

2. Conversations on the topic: "The Great Patriotic War" and "Our veterans"

3. Organize an exhibition of children's works

4. Work by yourself artistic activities: drawings for May 9 and holiday cards

5. For parents, the information “How to tell children about the Great Patriotic War? "

6. Examination of illustrations for books about the Great Patriotic War, reproduction of the wartime poster "Motherland Calls"

7. Listening and learning songs of military-patriotic themes:

"Katyusha" muses. M. Blanter;

"Russia" by G. Struve's muses;

"Victory Day" muses. D. Tukhmanova.

8. Learning proverbs and sayings about the Motherland, about the soldier's duty.

9. Decoration of the book corner with works of this subject.

10. Reading works of art and poetry about the war:

Poems "Victory Day" by T. Belozerov;

“The War ended in Victory” by S. Mikhalkov;

“Even then we were not in the world” M. Vladimov;

Reading the story "The First Night Ram" by S. Alekseev.

11. Registration of groups and the kindergarten corridor for the holiday

12. Organization of role-playing games "Border guards", "Emergencies".

13. Holding games - competitions "Re-bandage the wounded", etc.

14. Collective viewing of the cartoon "The Tale of the Military Secret, about Little Kibalchish and his firm word."

15. The physical education instructor holds a sports and game holiday dedicated to Victory Day

16. A festive concert for veterans - home front workers.

Despite the fact that in the process of work one has to face significant difficulties, it is not only possible, but also necessary to start, in kindergarten to acquaint children with the events of the Great Patriotic War. And it is necessary to begin work on the formation of the moral foundations of the individual and active citizenship as early as possible, so that in a few years no one would say about our pupils: “This is a lost generation”.

PROCESS DESIGN

Introduction

Relevance of the topic, motivation for its choice, correlation of personal experience in solving a professional problem with the achievements of science and practice.

Preschool age is the period of the beginning of the formation of the basic culture of the individual. In preschool childhood, the process of the individual's ascent to the values of society begins, and the child acquires the first life guidelines. Research by O. P. Radynova, E. P. Gorlova, N. E. Shchurkova prove that in older preschool age the content of social and psychological formations in the structure of a child's personality are the components of culture or the basic personality of a preschool child.

One of the basic principles preschool education is the introduction of children to socio-cultural norms, traditions of the family, society and the state (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia of 10/17/2013 N 1155 Art. 1.4)... Consequently, a preschool educational organization, as the initial level of the education system of the Russian Federation, must solve the problems of patriotic preschool education.

Patriotism is the most important moral quality. Patriotism is a moral and political principle, a social feeling, the content of which is love and devotion to the Fatherland; pride in his past and present, striving to defend the interests of the Motherland. (Brief Philosophical Dictionary).

The modern educational process prepares the student to become a responsible citizen, actively participate in the political life of the state and be able to do a lot for his country.

The concept of spiritual and moral development and upbringing the personality of a citizen of Russia, patriotism (love for Russia, for one's people, for one's small homeland; serving the Fatherland) is defined as a basic national value. In the concept of patriotic education citizens Samara region 4 directions of patriotic education one of which is military-patriotic.

The thematic approach to the construction of the educational process in preschool education allows you to use the potential of the national holiday Defender of the Fatherland Day as a theme-forming factor.

This determined the choice of the topic of the final work.

Contradictions, their conditioning of pedagogical practice at the present stage of development education:

- older preschool children have some militarily-patriotic ideas, but do not implement them in their activities;

- there is no systematic approach to the implementation of the regional component (patriotic upbringing) in the educational process of preschool education.

Professional problem: what content, forms and methods can be used to solve the problems of older preschoolers in the process of implementing the topic "Defenders of the Fatherland"?

Tasks, the solution of which will be provided by the new educational result aimed at solving Problems:

- to determine the content accessible to older preschool children militarily-patriotic views;

- to create a cultural and educational environment in ECE;

- to increase the competence of teachers in solving problems related to military-patriotic education of preschoolers;

- to unite the efforts of the family and preschool educational institutions to solve problems military-patriotic education senior preschoolers.

From work experience

"Patriotic education of preschoolers

in the process of getting acquainted with the Great Patriotic War "

Solomina Natalia Leonidovna,

senior educator MBDOU number 28,

Glazov, Udmurt Republic,

The patriotic upbringing of the younger generation has always been one of the most important tasks of preschool education, because preschool age is the most fertile time for instilling a sacred feeling of love for the Motherland. The task of patriotic education takes place in many documents on preschool education, in particular:

- in the Federal Law "On Education in the Russian Federation" dated December 29, 2012 N 273-FZ (Art. 3)

- in the Federal State Educational Standard of Preschool Education (in the section "General Provisions" clause 1.6.)

Preschoolers perceive the reality around them emotionally, and their patriotic feelings are manifested in a sense of pride in their people, in the history of their country. It is these feelings that a teacher should bring up in children from the very early age. You cannot be a patriot without feeling a personal connection with the Motherland, not knowing how our ancestors, our fathers and grandfathers loved and cherished her. The historical past without the theme of war will not be a complete representation of the history of our state. The Great Patriotic War is undoubtedly the most striking example of the manifestation of the heroism and patriotism of the Russian people.

Unfortunately, most often the heroes of modern children are the Man of Steel and Batman. Modern children know about star wars, supermen and space rangers from cartoons, action films and computer games. War is a fun show, adventure, game for them. A child is not born evil or kind, moral or immoral. What moral qualities a child will develop depends, first of all, on parents, teachers and adults around him, on how they bring him up, what impressions they will enrich him with.

Do I need to talk with preschoolers about the Great Patriotic War? Maybe you shouldn't injure the child's psyche? We need to talk about war - seriously, from the standpoint of humanistic values. A child by nature has a sensitivity to understand and share the suffering of another, his perception emotionally, directly and figuratively. And the theme of the Great Patriotic War can become understandable to preschool children, because it implements a fairly simple, clear idea known to them from fairy tales - the idea of the opposition between good and evil and the final victory of good.

The main goal of our work on patriotic education is to form in children initial ideas about the heroic past of our Motherland, fostering a sense of pride in their country, respect for the memory of fallen heroes, for war veterans, developing a conscious attitude to the Victory Day as a result of the heroic deed of the Russian people in the Great World War II.

We have set the following tasks:

  • to create an information and methodological base for the formation of systemic ideas about HEI in preschoolers;
  • to create RPPS in groups, allowing children to plunge into the heroic past of their people;
  • to convince parents of the importance of solving the problem of patriotic education and to establish cooperation to create conditions conducive to the formation of systemic ideas in children about the events of the Second World War;
  • to ensure the interaction of the preschool educational institution with the social institutions of the city for a high-quality solution of the tasks set.

Thus, we have determined 5 directions of activity on patriotic education of children in the process of familiarizing themselves with the Great Patriotic War:

  1. Create an information and methodological base.
  2. Creation of a developing subject-spatial environment
  3. Educational activity in the process of GCD and regime moments.
  4. Interaction with the families of pupils.
  5. Interaction with society.

The teacher's worldview, his personal example, views, judgments, an active life position are the most effective factors of upbringing. Without being a patriot himself, a teacher will not be able to awaken a child's feelings of love for the Motherland. Precisely to awaken, not to impose, since the basis of patriotism is, first of all, self-determination. The teacher must know what is appropriate to show and tell children about Vov, and most importantly, the material must be historically correct and adapted for children's perception.

To develop an information and methodological base to familiarize preschoolers with VOV, creative groups were created, including experienced, highly qualified teachers. Created by methodological developments, ideas, best practices of teachers, difficulties and problems in the implementation of the assigned tasks were discussed during teachers' councils, workshops, consultations, etc. The developed system of measures to familiarize children of senior preschool age with HEI was presented at the scientific and practical seminar "Achievements of science and practice in the activities of an educational organization" at the State Pedagogical Institute named after Korolenko in March 2017

Of course, patriotic feelings cannot arise in children after several, even very successful, activities. This is the result of a long, systematic and purposeful impact on the child through various forms of work, namely: GCD, cultural and leisure activities, thematic week, project activities, museum activities, search activities, reading fiction and educational literature, watching videos, stories, conversations, contests, etc.

Classes dedicated to the events of the Second World War are not isolated events, but a well-thought-out cycle that unobtrusively immerses children in times distant for them. For example, in the course of classes on the topic "My family" we will certainly talk about veterans, about their difficult childhood and heroism shown during the war years. On the eve of the 8 March holiday we are holding a conversation "Woman in War". The pupils' grandmothers tell the children about their mothers, remember their stories about how they lived in wartime, bring yellowed photographs and old albums with them. Music helps to feel what qualities the warriors-liberators, children-heroes possessed. Johann Sebastian Bach said: "Music blows the dust of everyday life out of the soul." Through music, the receptive soul of a child can be imbued with sublime human values.

But the most indelible mark in the inquisitive souls of preschool children, their memory, is left by live communication with veterans of the Second World War. Such meetings encourage boys and girls to treat the military awards of veterans with awe, listening with bated breath to the stories of veterans about the events of the distant war.

Children do not know how to express everything in words, and then imagination comes to the rescue. Information and impressions received by children during excursions, reading and conversations are reflected in various types of children's activities - play, visual and artistic creativity, in the creation of collections, mini-museums, exhibitions and expositions with the active participation of preschool teachers and parents. As a result of museum and project activities, “corners of military glory” appeared in groups, containing photographs, letters, documents from family archives, illustrations about the war. Mini-museums "Military equipment", "Mini Museum of Bread" appeared. The significance of the mini-museum is quite high, since here preschoolers have the opportunity not only to look at books and reproductions, but also to get acquainted with genuine objects and things, to reflect.

The key to the success of all our work is a well-established contact with parents, their interest and active participation in the implementation of the assigned tasks. Interaction with parents requires a lot of tact and patience, since in young families the issues of fostering patriotism are sometimes not considered important and often cause only bewilderment. Work with parents is built in 2 directions: increasing the level of pedagogical competence and involving parents in educational activities with children to form a systemic understanding of Vov.

Parents made a huge contribution to the creation of the handwritten memory book "We Remember the Heroes!"

Improving the quality of educational activities interaction with such social institutions as the Green World Library, the Museum of Local Lore, the House of Peoples' Friendship MBUK, the Museum of Military Glory in the police promotes the formation of systemic ideas about the Second World War with children. Of particular interest among children are excursions to the museums of military glory at the MBOU "Secondary School No. 12" and the MMO of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Glazovsky". Children get acquainted with military equipment and weapons, with the living conditions of military personnel, the peculiarities of service in peacetime.

Time is inexorably running forward, there are very few war veterans, direct participants in the events. Age and health do not allow them to often meet with children, to tell about the war themselves. Therefore, we, the older generation, are obliged to do this. As long as the memory of the sacrificial feat of our people, of the unbending will of the older generations, of the courage and heroism of the defenders of our native land, we will be a united family of the heirs of the Victory. Let true love for our Motherland be the most important guideline for us and our children, and a great victory will forever remain a symbol of military valor and spiritual greatness!
